    Pros +

    • My husband and I stayed at Hotel Vienna for 2 nights, we loved the location as it's a few steps away from the main centre. The hotel and hotel staff have been very nice, nice breakfast with a wide choice. Unfortunately we have not experienced dinner but we know that they offer quite an extensive set menu for 40EUR per head and seem to organize a few nice evenings for the guests - for example, one of the nights we stayed there was bingo.
    • Clean property, delicious breakfast, but most of all, I was impressed by Alina - the receptionist. She was such a sweetheart - helpful, cooperative, and always warm towards people.
    • The location of the hotel is quite convenient and quiet. The hotel is a bit dated but not too bad. Some remodeling was done but we didn't like the tiny shower enclosure that was left out in the hotel photos on booking site. Sauna use was a big plus but a little confusing. Parking garage was good although some effort was needed to get the car out from the parking space. Breakfast was rather subpar comparing to all other hotels in Dolomites that we stayed. We arrived a little early for check-in (rather obtaining travel information and recommendations) but there was NO one in front desk or pretty much anywhere on level 0. We found that the staff and others were having meal in a room on -1 level. We were told that we would have to wait for 10 minutes to have someone coming up to front desk, which we had never experienced in any Dolomites hotels, actually had never occurred to us. We waited for more than 10 minutes and decided to just leave at the time.

    Cons -

    • Although we had a really good stay there are a very few things that if improved could make this hotel the one of our choice every time we visit San Martino: - When checking in we weren't informed the hotel offered a free shuttle service to the slopes. We therefore walked 15 minutes to reach the lifts carrying our snowboards, and only on our way back we have seen a bus with 'Hotel Vienna' written on it, so we thought of asking the driver who confirmed that the service is available every morning from the hotel and every afternoon from the slopes. Would have been great if we had known before :)- We found the 4 pillows in the room were very hard and tall, which we didn't feel to be so comfortable. Pillows are such a personal preference that is hard to please everyone, but if 2 of these pillows would have been a bit softer we could have had a choice and used the one of our preference.
    • Understand that there were some difficulties in language issues but felt that guest care could have been a little better.
    • We didn’t love the dinner options or breakfast.

We enjoyed the sauna and spa area.

We didn’t love the dinner options or breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It has a real family feel but was perfect too for me as a solo traveller. Room very comfortable and hotel decor overall was luxurious but traditional. Loved the spa for chilling out when the weather turned wet. Highly recommend.

Can't fault the hotel or staff.

Very comfortable room and bed. Had all the basics for a nice stay. Staff at front desk were lovely and very helpful with allowing us to store bags before we even checked in.

There was no working hot tub when we were there, the pool is very small and we didn’t realise when we picked this hotel that we would have to pay more to use the very basic sauna and pool area.

Bfast was generally OK but the scramble eggs were COLD during all of our stay !.....

The toilet cover of our first room (303) was locked out from its place and sitting on it required some talents !...Our second room (314) was excellent !....

they didn't provide the early breakfast promised in mail.

breakfast, price and them treating us less good because we ordered through Booking.com, they said in straight words "because you booked through booking.com..."

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We appreciated that they inform their guests about local events. Food at both dinner and the breakfast buffet was delicious. On-site parking was available.

The shower was very small and appeared to have some black mold at bottom edge of the tile. Otherwise the room was very clean.

-Nice spacious room (junior suite), at edge of town-Quiet-good location close to Passo Rolle

-Needed to exchange the keys/rooms twice until we got the one we booked, also the checkin time mentioned in email was wrong which caused some unnecessary confusion and delays for us -On first day of the stay, Breakfast was very limited -received no information on Spa which was supposed to be included

    9PeterPosted on: 7-21-2022

The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly. The location of the hotel is nearly perfect, close to restaurants, lifts, and hiking trails. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern.

No air conditioning made it a bit uncomfortable during a heat wave but this is understandable for the location.

    9MattlolePosted on: 7-5-2022

Staff were very friendly, location was outstanding, view from balcony was outstanding, inclusive breakfast was great

We didn’t receive much information on arrival about the pool/sauna/meals

Hotel Vienna was unable to host us due to road construction but they made sure we were comfortable at an amazing place next door! Such a beautiful area!

    6HarroldPosted on: 1-18-2022

Breakfast was just okay. The Covid mitigation was good (gloves), but otherwise there was not a very good selection of cereal or yogurt. You could order eggs and bacon, but otherwise there were a variety of cakes and brioche, but not a very typical Tyrolese breakfast of cheeses and meat and fresh fruit.

Our room was okay, but it appeared to have small blood spatter on the wall. Our heat didn’t work either. 25 euros for a lunch buffet was a little pricey as well for what they offered, which was only 2 meat options, one pasta option and not many salad options for vegetarians.
