Pros +
- Restaurant dinner was excellent, room with valley view was small, but worked out okay. We were in Rocamadour in October and it was crowded with tourists, I cannot imagine what it is like in the summer. We ended up leaving a day early to stay somewhere quieter.
- Excellent, welcoming staff. Fabulous location. Hatted restaurant. Right in the heart of the old town. Only wish we could stay a little longer.
- Everything was excellent
Cons -
- Not much can be done about the tourists, the town is beautiful perched on a hillside built into the rock. Parking is, of course, very difficult; lots of walking and stair climbing to and from the car. Great exercise, but not for anyone that has mobility problems.
- We walked in, but if early morning/late evening before it gets busy, it seems you can drive in through the very narrow gateway, along the cobblestone street to drop off your bags. Parking is a long walk. Staff may know other options.

Everything was excellent
View, location and the room
Easy check-in, good directions to a (very) challenging parking situation, beautiful, spacious room with French doors and a small balcony
Restaurant music was right outside our window and was loud and very repetitive until after 10 pm
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. It was beautiful and spacious. The people who worked there were kind and helpful. Centrally located and has parking spaces in front to drop off luggage before you park your car (so you do not have to drag them through the cobblestone roads). Overall, just the best experience I will be back.
I wish there was a very clear no smoking section where you didn’t get smoke wafting into your face outside. But I think that’s kind of an issue in France in general. It seems that if you don’t want smoking, you just have to sit indoors. Also would appreciate more vegan and gluten-free options in the restaurant as well as in the bar café. I ended up having to eat at other places because there wasn’t a lot of variety.
Beautiful hotel in an enchanted village , right in the heart of all and with an excellent restaurant. You can’t do better than this .
Location can't be beat, right in the middle of the village and with gorgeous views of both village and valley. Very relaxing place, terrace is beautiful. Restaurant is absolutely exquisite. Staff is great. Fabulous stay, thank you!
The only little annoyance was a lot of small flies in the restaurant during breakfast (not a problem if temperature allows for breakfast on the patio), maybe something could be looked into to attract them some place else?
Fabulous rooms. Service excellent. Views They took our luggage up the hill to our bus.
Quality clean sheets well clean.
The Bar area wasn’t comfortable enough too many doors opening causing drafts and no sofas too clinical!
2 breakfast options at the hotel. Lovely dining room. Impressed with how hard the staff worked. Parking not as challenging as expected. Loved the experience of staying here 4 nights and exploring the area from this base. We had a beautiful view room, in the heart of the town. Quiet at night.
Hard to say. Expectations were exceeded.
We have stayed before and love the location and high standard of service. The food is excellent and restaurant and terrace has a beautiful view.
Perfectly located in city with lovely restaurant. Excellent staff service and welcoming.
WiFi is poor but due to age of structure and location, maybe not able to improve.
Restaurant is lovely . Staff need to smile more but food and service delicious. Very lovely romantic setting .
Pillows in the room need changing . They are not soft . But overall excellent
Couldn’t fault anything about this hotel. Beautiful lobby, spacious and modern room and the location was as central as you can get. Fabulous experience.
Nothing!
Genuinely family run hotel in centre of medieval town
Great boutique hotel. We were in building across the road from lobby. Modern, quiet. Enjoyed. Very good breakfast option served early enough for our early morning departure on foot.
Quality. Room. Restaurant.
Check in was quick, friendly & efficient. Room had well appointed decor with a view of the valley plus a full size bathtub! We hadn't made dinner reservations but staff accommodated us and even found someone who could deal with the language difference. Lovely breakfast on the outdoor patio. This is a beautiful medieval town without the damp cold or crowds of Mt. St. Michel. Was very disappointed our itinerary wouldn't allow for an extra night. Loved it and will definitely return.
These are issues to be aware of but nothing that is within the hotels control. To get to the hotel on the mountain, the road is very narrow with hairpin turns. There were times the areas we went through were so remote we thought we were lost. Also this was a horse & cart town so parking is sparse and tight. The hotel let us know where we could park without charge and it worked out fine but if you can't back up into tight spaces you need to practice.
Well maintained hotel in a Medieval town; all electrics etc worked well. We were able to park our car in a hotel owned bay (limited spaces available so arrived early)
Not so much the property as the Town at this end of season time has limited dining options in the evening. We dined at the hotel owned restaurant just opposite. €150 for two including a bottle of wine. Great meal but restaurant shuts before 9pm, so eat early
Great location, nice styling, friendly staff
