The location is great, 5 min from Rocamadour Staff was very helpful and also granted us early check-in. Breakfast staff was very helpfulThere is a pool and it seemed clean, we could not use it due to bad weather, so cannot say more about it.

Very disappointed in the facilities. We were given a room that smelled like mold, the bathroom had mold in the corner, all dusty, spiders in every corner.At night we had quite a big intruder (centipede) in the bathroom that went under the shower (there was a hole there).Altough the hotel is in the nature, this is not ok.We were also travelling with a baby, so not sure if this was the worst room they gave or all the rooms are like this. It needs quite a lot of renovation and maintenance. Last year I remember it was not like this.Breakfast was also very limited, but I understand because the hotel was not very full.

Breakfast was generous, with a large variety of choices. The hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff was super pleasant.

The room and facilities were very Clean and comfortable. The pool in the afternoon after an aperitif was the best. I am VERY impressed by the staff, Amelie, Nicholas, Sebastian, and Joel were superb helpers and very gracious. The breakfasts had more the usual French with eggs, bacon and cereals. I had dinner there every night and each meal was delicious.

I liked it all.

Our stay was extremely pleasant. Staff is extremely polite and efficient. Facilities are amazing with a big parking lot. The fact that the hotel is located a bit in the woods is amazing in terms of peacefulness. The room is warm, clean, and cozy. Bedding and mattresses are very comfortable, so if you add to that how quiet and cozy it is, it makes it the perfect place for relaxing. Also, wifi works really well, which makes it very easy if you have to work online. Last but not least, breakfast is really nice. Food options are very good. The views from the restaurant room are stunning.

Good location and facilities

Staff did not speak English so was a bit hard to communicate with them.

The hotel was peaceful. The view from the dining room over the forest treetops is beautiful. The breakfast was fine. The staff were kind. The rooms were spacious and clean (except the centipedes but I don’t think that’s the hotel’s fault). The kids loved the pool. It was a great base to explore the region.

We didn’t ask for much so we got by but, if we had expected the 4* experience promised by their website, we would’ve been disappointed. The issue seems to be a severe lack of staff and proper management. The staff who are there are nice but not particularly attentive and certainly not capable of covering all posts (only the reception really seemed to have someone present). The hotel seemed deserted in the evenings. Having eaten at the restaurant on three evenings, I have to say it was the biggest disappointment - the menu is very limited, not everything was available, it seemed hit and miss as to whether it was even open, and we had to find a member of staff otherwise we were not attended to at all. The food that came was ok but expensive for what it was, not particularly hot, and varied in quality. This was a shame as it meant driving to find somewhere else when we’d have been happy to spend our money and time there if that had been a viable option. You need to have a car if you stay here.

Lovely location. Good size room with nice terrace. Decent pool. Dinining room with great views. Breakfast fine.

Staff does not speak English. We asked for tea and coffee, as this was not in the room anymore, which we received. The shower soap that was empty and asked for however we never got. We got another room than the one we booked, on a low floor. (although we could reserve a deluxe room). The breakfast place is intermediate. They need strong leadership to have everything in order (details were not 4 star worthy)

Okay for a night stay as the location is good

Bathtub needs replacing as it was rusty. Breakfast items were finished before closing time of 10 am, and we had to ask to bring bread & scrambled eggs - had to wait 15 mins

Great location with nice views

The breakfast was very poor There was a large group on our day of arrival that had booked the restaurant, so no dinner was possible. Since the hotel is in the middle of nowhere they should at least offer roomservice

Lovely location in the countryside about 10 minutes drive to Rocamadur. We chose to eat in the restaurant which was decent … it also has a comfy bar. The room was quite small for two of us and our luggage but very quiet…

Booked this hotel as they had a restaurant. Although the email received from the hotel in the morning mentioned evening meal, we were told when we arrived that we couldn’t eat in the restaurant as there was a group of American students staying. Eventually they agreed we could have something cold, this took 90 minutes to arrive. Knew that one needed a gluten free diet and provided gluten free bread that wasn’t properly thawed out. They also put bread sticks across the plate of cold meat and seemed to be unaware of cross contamination. We contacted booking.com and we’re still waiting to hear back as to the outcome and the return phone call that was meant to be made to us within the hour (24 hours ago).

Water took forever to heat up, loads of water wasted.

The rooms was very nice with big balconies and great views. The location was perfect and this hotel offers everything you need. The restaurant is very cosy and charming and the breakfast was outstanding and very tasteful. Will definitely highly recommend this hotel.
