Relais Amadourien

Relais Amadourien is located in an amazing location near the Rocamadour Castle and elevator. The Way of the Cross starts downhill a short walk from the hotel and goes to the sanctuary. There are two restaurants close to the hotel, but the hotel is within walking distance from the many restaurants passed when arriving. The rooms are nicely sized and very comfortable. It reminded me of a national park lodge. They offer breakfast, but we did not have it. Free parking is directly outside the hotel. They have many rooms available on the ground floor for people looking to avoid stairs. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is located edge of the cliff above the medieval city. Hotel has a large parking space. However, medieval city cannot be seen from the room. Breakfast was good.

The room had a bad smell of mixture of sewage and perfume to cover it. The smell made us sick. The decoration of the room is a little outdated.

A very pleasant desk person who gave us good info. The room was large, cool from AC, and clean and comfortable. Great location near good restaurants. Would return here. Price was great.

The staff upon arrival was super friendly and provided so much information on the town and attractions. She also explained all the key and access functions. The location is amazing and all areas are within walking distance. The parking was free with plenty of available spots.

Stairs to go to the room. The television had no English speaking channels and the was unable to connect a streaming device due to their Internet connection process. The shower was only divided by glass from the bed which would make it awkward for anyone but couples.

Great location for exploring Rocamadour. The room is quaint and has a beautiful view overlooking greenery and the surrounding landscape. We didn't opt for the breakfast but the cafe had nice views as well. Overall, a nice stay for the price!

The staff was amazing, bed comfortable, breakfast great.

There was only one restaurant open for dinner each day, none for lunch. We took a train to this town, so had to walk almost a mile to and from dinner- no cabs, no uber, hard at our age.

The advertised wifi wasn’t working when I stayed there and I thought the breakfast poor value.

Direction instructions to the unit could be better but the owner responded right away when we got lost. There is a sign above the entrance to the unit about an art gallery. That should be mentioned in the directions to the unit to help find it.

Location is excellent, parking is free and in a great location to walk down to the City center.

Excellent location close minutes walk away from the Chateau , steps and lift.Room was outstanding for the money with excellent shower and washing facilities.Breakfast was good too

The room was very pleasant and the bathroom was really lovely. I really liked the breakfast room with the views over the garden. The quality of the breakfast offered was very much above average.

The location. Located on top of the village, 2 minutes walk to the chateau and the elevator. The 10 minutes walk along the cliff edge provided nice overviews of the whole village. Easy on site parking.

Perfect location right next door to the chateaux. We only had to walk a short way to be able to catch the first lift down to the cathedral. Restaurant across the the parking lot. It’s set on a beautiful block of land. Parking no problem. Everything was great - breakfast too.
