Pros +
- They have a great location inside the old town, after the first medieval gate. The parking is not far from the hotel. The views from the window are the best. You can partially see the valley and the castle/monastery complex. The women at the reception were nice and friendly.
- Perfect location. Love the little balcony you can open and look out at the mid-evil city.
- Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is just inside the city gate, so you can theoretically stop your car in front to unload passengers and/or bags before parking. (You can turn around a bit further down the street to get back out.) The hotel also provides a limited number of parking spots on a first-come-first-served basis a short walk from the main part of the hotel. The hotel is unpretentious, but provides a basic, comfortable room at a reasonable rate. For elderly people, there is an elevator.
Cons -
- The breakfast. It was a completely disappointment. I had my expectations high for such a country and because it was at extra cost, but it turned out to be the cheapest breakfast ever, which normally hotels included out of charge. Also, we stayed during low season and we had the whole hotel (and village) for us, literally. But the calm and peace of the place was altered during our breakfast, by the not-so-friendly bartender. He kept watching tiktok videos the entire time at full volume, so instead of enjoying the views from the window, we left as soon as we finish the poor meal that he offered us.
- A little dated in decor. But that’s ok!
- The main negative point was that the wifi didn't work, at least not in the rooms, which made it fairly pointless. Given how dependent we are on an internet connection for making reservations, planning itineraries, etc. this is a significant inconvenience.

Very well located. Friendly staff.
It’s a very basic hotel. You get for what you pay: very small room and even smaller bathroom. No wi-fi in the rooms. No AC.
Very nice location, surrounded by restaurants and places to visit. Comfy room with bathroom, all you can ask for
Internet was slightly slow but only during night hours. Could have been due to the weather as it was raining
Great value. Super comfortable. Amazing location! Easy to park and access.
Only downside was visiting in off season and the town was virtually shuttered. I wish we'd have known that. Nevertheless, the hotel staff was welcoming, and we had a great visit.
All was fine, including restaurant and food.
Shorter walk from reception to the room which was the farthest it could be meethinks... Also, we travelled for nearly 4 hours to have that specific weekend to experience the balloon festival, which was cancelled due to "elf n safety" apparently, best check before travel.. Very disappointing, not the hotels fault though.
Room was large but dated. It was comfortable with a great view from the window. Location was to die for. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was a great bar room that we were able to use even though it wasn't technically open.
A quiet and clean hotel in the medieval town. The lady on reception was lovely. We loves that our room had a balcony. Great shower and wifi. Very comfortable. We had a lovely time.
It was all great but we should have headed down to the medieval part of the town to get to the hotel. We didn't realise and found parking at one of the sites at the top.
Unbeatable location. Free parking nearby. The French lady who checked me in was lovely! They let me keep my suitcase there after check out time so I could explore without lugging it around. Fantastic view from window. Basic room that has everything you need. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good.
Couldn’t connect to the internet. Hence, I could not work from my room. They created a massive headache for me!. The British lady in reception at check out told me that there was no Internet in the rooms, only in communal areas. She was pointing at the small sign in French in the reception which had that info on it. There is no note in the room saying that the Internet is not available apart from in communal areas. She was also very curt. The hotel was fine, but at 6:30 AM people started checking out, taking the elevator which was outside my room and the noise was pretty unbelievably loud and impossible to sleep through. Not just people talking, but also squeaky elevator doors loud machinery sounds etc. it went on and on until 10. if you want to sleep in behind 6.30, this place is not for you. Mind you, the location in the middle of the historic ancient medieval city is completely unbeatable and I heard good things about the restaurant. I didn’t get to try it personally because it was booked out when I arrived. Which is obviously a good sign. It’s an idea if you are staying there to call the hotel ahead and ask them to book a table at the restaurant for you. I did not have the wherewithall to do that . That is my fault.
Rey good location, and friendly staff
Too bad our room was on the street in front of the tourist bus carpark - got awaken around 7am
I liked the communication with the staff both in French and in English, which helped make our stay comfortable but also enjoyable. Parking was available and right outside our accommodation. Spot on.The advice from the staff enabled our onward journey to the caves at Goufrey de Padirac to proceed in plenty of time with a hearty breakfast inside us!
The bedroom was sufficient but a little basic, and with some small ants to contend with. However, this in no way affected our stay and it was swiftly forgotten.
Perfect location for one night and then having a look around the town late evening and early morning before the crowds. Free parking very welcome.
In the dead center of historic Rocamadour pedestrian zone. Free parking.
Streetlife was noisy during the night. No ac. We had a handicapped adapted room which was not practical for us, especially didn't like the shower.
Amazing location, effortless parking, delightful staff
The hotel was well situated - we stayed just outside the city walls with easy access to sites of interest. Parking was very convenient and it would have been a nightmare if that had not been available!
No wif in the rooms - only in the reception area. Some people might find that a problem - rooms a bit spartan - not a problem for us just passing through but for a longer stay might be an issue.
Room had basic standards alined with price option, clean, not very confortable. Ok for just 1 night, no time to stay in. Perfect location in the old city and Main Street. Tx.
Switch off the light of TV: it was disturbing all night long.It has old furniture, carpet... Looks clean, it was fine.
Perfect location in the center of Rocamadour. Very nice staff, room was small but it has everything I needed. The area was very quiet during the night. My window was facing beautiful green plants which I liked very much.
Everything was perfect
Location and friendliness of the co owner Emma.
Nothing not to like. Breakfast was adequate but would have preferred to pay a bit more for a bit more eg bacon/eggs/fruit.
The room was very clean, there was no need for parking and I was glad as it appears to have cost 10 euro, which is not cheap in the middle of nowhere. The location was great and the view from the room was lovely. The staff were quite helpful in some ways.
I felt it was very overpriced for a room that was very small and simple, with no bathroom door. The corridor was very gloomy, the hotel had zero atmosphere. I was offered an alternative room, in the main hotel but it was far too big for one person, with three beds. It was for a family. So there was no room in between that was available. The room I had was light at least. They provided a hair dryer on request but due to a health issue I badly needed hot water and no kettle could be provided. I asked about a pharmacy, there was none in the town and this was a problem. The staff were officious, but not necessarily hospitable. It was not at all homely. I noticed the price of the room was far cheaper on the price list in reception, so I had paid 30-40 euro over this, and no breakfast included. Given that I was n't that satisfied with the room, it would have been an easy solution to simply offer the breakfast as included as a compensation. Overall, Overpriced. I would have thought that would be a good solution. The 'toiletries' offered were tiny bars of soap, tiny shampoo sachets. I would advise anyone NOT to book through Booking .com as this establishment informed me that the high price was due to Booking.com's 'commission'. If only I had known!!! Finally ,the desk was not large enough to work on, and i had research to do. I had sent a couple of messages asking about something related to my research ( you never know, who knows what and how this can lead to something helpful), but they didn't answer any message.
