Pros +
- The hotel is relatively new with good facilities (pool, gym). It's in a quiet location with beautiful view of the country side. There are few good restaurants just 3km from the hotel.
- Pool areWas nice. Kids needs a renoBreakfest was amazing
- Liked the swimming pools, the views, the free parking and underground was a big plus and the food was all very good.
Cons -
- The room was very dark (without enough lighting). Some public areas were also dark. The breakfast was definitely not 5 star.
- Small rooms Carpet everywhere and was also dirtyBeds Not comfortable /accommodating very basic for a 5 star
- Our check-in was delayed an 1.5 hours because the cleaning was not completed on time, no compensation was offered ....On one day, the interior swimming pool closed 2 hours prior to closing time for maintenance and we couldn't use it ....On check-out day, our room was locked prior to the applicable time, we lost access to the room for around 40 minutes until the staff made a new key .... again no compensation was offered ....

The hotel is excellent for kids. they have lot of activities and play areas and swimming pools especially for the children. The hotel is little outside the city, hence it is ideal for families with kids who just want to stay one place and enjoy. The food is not great. the breakfast buffet is average, we have had much better in other hotels in Portugal.

Location, view, little park next to the property.
This is not a 5 star hotel, bad facilities, terrified staff, weird atmosphere, many kids, lots of noise, bad isolation. This is a family ot good for a couple or for people that want to relax.
The staff was accommodating, friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is clean and inviting!
Everything was great!
I liked the hotel being away from town because of noise, but was very quiet Didn’t use pool as it was limited hours and booking didn’t work for us. They were great at the desk & bar, breakfast was good.
on Dec 23 and we maybe should have stayed in city center, as taxi was tough to get back to hotel. We did book a Uber for our hotel ride on 24th without any problems. And on the 23rd we managed to get a Uber.Taxi in from AirPort was confused on how to open gate press recepción button.
Overall was nice, great staff at the front desk, great pools, nice breakfast, very clean facility and nice grounds
It's hard to get to the resort special at night, and the outside front of the resort needs more lighting, more lighting in the bathroom counter (it was hard to shave with very little light). The breakfast staff and bartender are not well trained
The view
The rooms are old. In the 3 adults room there was a child extra bad that wasn't worth sleeping at. The hotel stuff didn't provide a suitable solution and my grown children slept on the doubled bad (all three). The smell at the hotel corridor was bad.The sink was floating, although we told the reception about it.At our room (as parents), the couple bad was 2 single beds joint together, with 2 blankets. The rooms lightning is so bad that you can't see anything.
Location is great with an exceptional view, but rather far away from Sintra center. At night we came back from the city after dinner and got lost in the small and unlit streets.
Room keys did not function, but the receptionist just didn't care! We waited for some 40 minutes and had to go and ask for them again. Hotel should not let guests wait to get in their room! Plus, no one bothered to apologize.
Breakfast and lunch are big buffets with lots of choices though not the best food or the least expensive. Given that there are conferences and families here it makes sense to offer dining this way.
Rooms are clean and basic but not charming or particularly memorable. Again, this is a good place for large gatherings like weddings, conferences, etc location is outside Sintra Centre so if seeing town is important there are better locations
Room service
Long check in and check outNot being honest when asking No assistance in luggage even though it is 5 star hotel!Staff are not aware of the chargesNo iron - strange You need to call the receptionist to get dental kit/kettle / self hygiene items … etcNothing near the hotel.
It felt like a cruise ship with mostly families going for the all inclusive packages. Tons of kids everywhere, loud music being played by the pool by the hotel. Impossible to relax if you don't come with kids.
In overall it was great, nice accommodations, the breakfast was pleasant. The pancakes on "the go", it's an excellent service.
Got nothing to say.
The suite we had was beautiful. With parking in a garage for our car. The food choices we excellent. Accept NO DIABETIC FRIENDLY DESSERTS. Be nice if someone would remember us!
The bathtub wouldn't keep water in it for bath.
The property was lovely and well maintained. The view was beautiful. Very clean. The kids amenities were great!
The staff were lovely, but there were only a few. When you called from the room, often there was no answer. Room service food was less than mediocre and there are no other restaurants within walking distance, especially with kids in tow. When ordering food in person, wait 20min, only to check in and find out the order was overlooked. Another instance food was ordered, checked upon 20min later, and then told the kitchen hasn’t opened yet. Although cultural, dinner food wasn’t available until 7:30pm and lunch stops at 5pm. There is a very small all day menu. No kids menu despite the hotel having so many amenities for kids. Dinner buffet was ok at best. Flooring by the pools were extremely slippery. Hot tub wasn’t that hot and jets were disappointing. No irons available to use. The property is stunning, but the lack of staff/hospitality training and design flaws hold it back from being the 5 star it could be.
Great views.
A little remote. Challenging if you don’t have a car. Uber was unreliable to come out there. Food was so so.
Poor
Food was not great, poor quality buffet as well as wine selection. ( for the price of 50€). Loud and overstimulating. Just horrendous. Pool was not a quiet or relaxing place to be. Not a wellness service.
Great to go with kids. It’s all about them. There’s plenty of infrastructures and animation all day long.
The restaurant buffet is too pricey for the quality which didn’t convince us. The water from the kids pool is cold, which is difficult to understand.
Everything was good except the bed.Perfect location. Panoramic views from rooms and swimming pool, big territory for walking.
The matress on the bed was awful. I slept on the floor. My body really relaxed after in the middle of the sleepless night i went from the bed to the floor. And one more issue, the toilet in the room is not isolated at all. There is just a short glass door between the toilet and the other part of the room. Only very closed people could stay together while one of them is using this toilet. My wife and I didn't dare to try such an intimate experiment, and one of us went out onto the balcony, while another used a toilet.
