This place is fantastic! Such a great value....the location is perfect, just a couple minutes walk to the train station and less than 10 minutes walk to the historical center. The rooms are well done with portable heaters and plenty of blankets for the winter months, and the bathrooms are great (hot water and good pressure). The owner seems to have remodeled everything recently and is adding on a section (I believe a cafe) next to the front room which should be a nice update! Overall we were very happy and would stay again if we come back to Sintra!

Location, room, the gift coffee and water

As most of the shared bathroom accomodations, walls are thin, so the experience depends on the other guests.

It was a charming house, checkin was easy, communication was via messaging and instructions were clear. the room was small so a bit hard to open our suitcase and be able to go in & out. We were able to leave our luggage as we arrived quite early on the train. The hotel is 10 min from the train station and easy walking distance to the historical part of town, lots of restaurants & cafes. Bathrooms were shared but they were clean and well kept.

Access to the hotel door is down a small side street, just be aware that it is quite steep and paved with cobblestones which can be quite slippery. The room was a little bit dark.

The house was located in a nice area. The room bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom was very moldy and the establishment tried to cover up the smell with some pretty nasty smelling air freshener. I had to open windows and doors to try to get rid of the smell. Had a nasty headache from the odor.

Room #1 needs a serious cleaning and mold removing service.

Super close to the train station, very pretty building and inside decoration, they had soap and shampoo in the bathroom and several bathrooms so there was never a waiting time.

There was a smell of chlorine and humidity in the room, but we opened the window and it was all good. Also they should have said about the 2€ per person city tax in the listing, not after booking.

Cozy, comfortable and clean. Staff and managers are very nice and helpful, they were always responsive and were so kind to add an extra mattress with a little price increase.Totally recommended

Good location and great beds. Host provided water and coffee. Big kitchen and lovely outdoor seating area. Great price and store and restaurants and bus to Pena Palace very close by.

It's off the main street and was a little tricky to find at first. It's an old building and the bathrooms were just ok. I thought parking was provided, but you're on your own finding a spot. It's free overnight on the streets, but I had to go to the lot the next day.

We stayed here for just one night. The beds were really comfortable, and the toilet, shower, and kitchen were all clean. The terrace could use a bit of cleaning. We didn’t see the hosts in person, but they responded to all our email inquiries immediately, which we really appreciated. We stayed in two rooms, and in Room 2 it wasn’t possible to open the window because, due to the uneven terrain, it was located right at street level.

Very nice traditional house, very close to train station, 12 noon check out was lovely. Use of kitchen was a bonus.

The interior was fantastic comfortable and very clean even the shared bathrooms. Perfectly safe for solo travellers, good location

Accessing the location on rainy days was quite treacherous. Maybe consider adding steps all the way down to the door?

The location was perfect and close to the station for dropping off luggage and the staff were very helpful and quick to respond to messages. They even went out of the way to get a portable heater for our room when the one in it wasn’t working. Amazing customer service!!!

The beds were too hard for me but may be great for those who like firm beds and it had a musty smell. The steep hill you had to go down to get in was treacherous in the rain.

Amazing and perfect location, right near the airport, supermarket close by, a lot of restaurants and the national palace, you can walk to many attractions. Helpful staff and fully equipped kitchen.

Place was probably fully booked but 2 showers only so a little bit of a line, and the bathrooms are the same too(it’s shower+bathroom). Also a little noisy- you can here others walking and talking near the room

We got free water and coffee. Location was good with nice restaurants.

The wifi was bad, the bed sheets were too old and thin, and the cleaner knocked on the door too early. The rooms are also noisy, so we heard other people showering.

Very friendly host, great location! Bathroom and shower was clean, really comfortable beds compared to the other places we’ve been to.

Room was quite small so the two single beds were very close to each other. There's not plenty of space for big luggage, but totally acceptable taking into account the price

Location near Sintra station was excellent. But getting to the actual room was a little difficult. Room was very clean & washroom & hot water was excellent. Very friendly & helpful hosts.

The smaller bed is awfully noisy. It needs to be fixed so it's not so loud everytime someone moves in it. Makes for a poor sleep. The bigger bed was very comfortable.

The location was very convenient, very close to the station and city centre .

The room had a very pungent and unpleasant smell.

The location is perfect. I also want to thank the host for the great communication and for allowing us to leave our belongings before check-in and after check-out. Highly recommend.
