On-line appeared airport transfer included. Reception said was included but then pulled out a price list. Was charged at airport and double what an Uber would have been.

I requested a wake up call in the morning which I didn’t get and made me miss my transport

Good location for our requirements. Breakfast is good. Price is excellent.Think it¿s a 3 star not 4

Corridors need updating.

Location because was close to the beach.

Check was at 3pm and Check out at 11 which on my booking Check out shows me at 4pm. They say they have sauna but is not working, the gym are is very poor. My bad sheets didn't was changed and no cleaned. Just was tidy up the bed and replaced the towel

Great location, staff and breakfast. Was very clean. Plenty of hot water.

Beds kind of hard and lumpy, pillows small and lumpy. After a lot of rain, we had a few ants in our room on the last night. Where the hand held shower hung on, was loose and almost falling off.

Toilet was continuously running do we had to manually tiurn the water on each time we needed to use it. We reposted it but nothing done. (We were only there one night).

The hotel is very dated - some areas needed painting.the breakfast was in a very poor condition - the fruit was not fresh and there was not enough variety of food available

The hotel was very comfortable. We were given a room upgrade which was fantastic. The location is very central and easy to get to the beach and restaurants. Staff were very friendly especially the reception staff and restaurant servers.

Unfortunately the spa pool wasn't open which I only found out after the booking.

Price and location

We stayed in room 112 and a generator or some sort of machine started up at 5.30 am in the morning..I thought it was a helicopter landing...huge vibration..Imposible to sleep and it went on for hours...I like this hotel and have stayed there many times but this was unacceptable.

The room is too small, the sea view looks towards the sea, but it's not the 1st line, so the sea (ocean) is not visible

Water damage Neglected Finished updates

There was water coming from the ceiling into the bedroom near the bed and coming from the window into the bathroom. Too much money for this kind of service!!

The staff working at this hotel were lovely.

The room was dark. The hallway carpet needed to be replaced. The entire building had a musty smell to it. The bathroom, more than anything else, was in desperate need of an update. The shower was practically unusable. When the shower head was turned on, if you didn’t hold it in your hands it sprayed water all over the room.

Rooftop with huge balcony and spa bath. A wee relaxing treat on our around Portugal stay.the views were stunning, great value and a special thank you to the housekeeper and team due to the room being cleaned then outdoors beeping messed up my seagulls. Happy to reclean without us asking . Friendly but professional.

We had an early check out. Receptionist had booked 2 breakfast boxes but these weren’t allowed to b delivered to room. Went to collect but night porter knew nothing of this so we had to leave at 5 am hungry although breakfast included. Disappointing. Also sad to see the rundown properties when looking from the balcony, though this is no fault of the hotel.

The hotel is in the best position, as it's 2 mins walk to the beach, and across the road from the bus station. Fares are cheap for a day out to loule (market is on Saturday there) also uber is very good. Quarteria market is on Wednesday, about 15 mins walk up the road. The hotel staff are amazing, always ready to help, and the rooms are lovely, modern, and clean. We were upgraded to one of the penthouse rooms, which had a jacuzzi, I highly recommend getting this if you can, as it absolutely made my birthday celebrations. The hotel is clean, clean towels were offered daily, the pool is private, and the breakfast buffet was beautiful. It had a wide selection of everything. I will definitely stay here again.

We stay here frequently and the staff are what makes the hotel. Location is great, it's well staffed and surface clean , spacious and comfortable

It's starting to look a bit dated and tired. Doors were missing from our wardrobes, no big drama except no mirror for dressing. The toilet in room 404 consistently over fills through the night - noisily - until you fiddle with the broken button.The hotel would benefit from a revamp.
