    Based on 161 reviews

    Pros +

    • Comfortable beds, access to animals, breakfast, friendly staff
    • Fresh bread and cake each morning, lots of friendly animals, and a pleasant pool area to relax in.
    • The man who gave me the key was a very nice personNice poolVery nice breakfast

    Cons -

    • Communication wasn’t great, the kitchen was very small, and guests are expected to clean a dirty dehumidifier to prevent mold — but there was still some mold present.
    • Communication with the property was a bit difficult—they didn’t respond to messages, and the listed phone number also seemed unable to forward messages to the property itself. We informed them about our late arrival, but were met by a visibly angry and unwelcoming man who didn’t speak English. Luckily everything worked out in the end.
    • Air conditioner did a bit of noise

Amazing location and great value for money! The caravan was more like a full house—surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Locatioj was also excellent with some farm animals to see!

The animals seem well treated and well fed.The view from the caravan house is wonderful. The bread and cake in the morning are delicious.Really nice for walkings.

There was no one in the reception when we arrived despite I had sent a message before and they confirmed they were waiting. I had to call a number, and a somewhat confused lady said someone would meet me at the entrance. No explanation whatsoever about the place or activities. The caravan house doesn’t have wifi or tv, which was totally ok for me, but that is not what is advertised.I was shocked with the 2 person studio where my parents stayed, it had no more than 12m2 including the bathroom and little kitchenette. It’s definitely not worth the 90€ they charged for it. There was a female cat that didn’t seem to be getting much food, the other cats seem well fed though.

The 2 bedroom "house" was spacious. There was a small living room, a large dining room, 2 OK-sized bedrooms and a large kitchen as well as a good-sized bathroom. It is not an house--as in a stand alone structure which is what I was expecting. Rather it is a suite of rooms in the middle of a long building with other suites on either side. The set-up is more like what we would in the USA think of as a long low-slung motel building. In front of each unit is a picnic table overlooking the yard. The walk along the stream and up to the hillside was pleasant. This property is billed as agro-tourism and it certainly had a more rustic, working farm feel. The shed in the middle of the property that you look out from the picnic tables is rustic and junky. It is not a particularly attractive site.

The room was damp and cold. There was a small dehumidifier in the bathroom that we were able to roll into the living room. There was a split A/C until in the wall of the dining room but the layout of the rooms meant that the heat from the unit really couldn't warm any other rooms but the dining room. There was a wall mounted electric radiant heater in one of the buildings. But the living room furniture just felt damp and clammy. With heat pouring out wherever we could find it and the dehumidifier running it got better, but it was unpleasant.

The 3 bed appt we stayed in was lovely - very clean and full of charm. The location on the farm was brilliant - lovely patio with chairs and table for breakfast in the sun. The highlight was the freshly baked loaf of bread and cake delivered every morning around 8.30 - absolutely top drawer! Farm walks with all of the animals was very special. Idyllic.

The only negative would be the kitchen is a little small and the oven didn’t get very hot but we chose to eat out most evenings so that was not a game changer. X

The breakfast was quite good - fresh bread and cake everyday, with all the remaining available on the fridge when you arrive at the apartment. The farm is huge and you can take a sun bath on several spots, along with animals on the path. It was quiet at night and the nature sounds are pleasant.

The kitchen disposition is not great, you can injure yourself accidentally. Not something they can change right away but good to consider if you plan to cook every meal.

Breakfast with warm bread is the highlight and a great start of the day. This place close to Ponte de Sôr is a gem with different activities and for sure better in Summer time.Apartments are spacious and comfortable. Fridge, stove and sofa bed.Accessible by car. Parking available. I will return, hopefully.

We stopped at Quinta de Saudade while travelling south through Portugal so were only here for one night. The location suited us as we were driving on the N2 and wanted to go on to Evora the next morning. The accomodation was really nice and excellent value for money. The small swimming pool was still open so I was able to have a November swim which made me happy! Breakfast of warm bread and some cake, was very cute in a basket left outside the door. Facilities for making tea and coffee and nice goodies left in the fridge. It was a perfect stop over for us.

Wonderful breakfast with fresh baked goods in the morning delivered to the door. Peaceful, beautiful place, with horses, a pond, pool, etc. The space is more than ample, has a lot of room, a great kitchen, and fairly comfortable beds.

Bit of a sewer/bad smell in the bathroom...had to leave the window open and door closed.Host does not speak English, but a neighbor guest was able to help with check in.

Set in a beautiful location (close to the N2 which you cN hear outside during traffic hours).

Worn down, poorly maintained. Has potential but needs maintenance. Photos over promised….

Thse location was fine and quiet, but the town dissappointing.

Upon arrival the owner/manager told us strait away, this is not a hotel !When we tried to explain that we had a reservation, he did not understand us.He then told us through an interpreter, that if we want to visit Portugal, we should learn the language, or don't come !
