We were informed when we checked in tha the hotel bar was open until 12.So after returning from our restaurant, at 9.00 pmTo find it closed, not even lights on !So we enquired at reception as to why it was closed, only to be told by the Gentleman, that it wasn't open, because he hadn't been trained and wasn't sure of process for drinks.......Anyway eventually reluctantly, turned on lightsAnd allowed us in, and served us a bottle of beer,And bottle of wine......because it wasn't available by Glass, so we purchased a whole bottle, just get a glass of wine

The room and bathroom were extremely clean and the breakfast was terrific.

The only complaint was the positioning of the toilet and the shower. We booked a basic room for just one night on our way through Portugal so it was manageable. The floor space between the toilet and shower was way too little and you had to put your feet up on the shower ledge when using the toilet.

Amazing value for the price. Nice breakfast buffet with perfect fruit. There is an enormous swimming facility a few blocks away, open in summer. The walk along the river is also very nice. Recommend the restaurant "Quadrifonia", around the corner - delicious!

No iron in the hotel!

Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Room was spacious.

At check-in, the staff was not forthcoming about amenities such as breakfast, so I missed out the first day!

Hotel was very nice and clean, with a safe storage area for cycle.Ponte de Sor seemed to be closed with many restaurants closed on a Tuesday. Some even looked closed for longer.The Barril was very nice.

The hotel smells clean when you walk in, they have breakfast which is nice and convenient.

The bed mattress was on the worn and soft side. The shower head wall mount needs to proper repair.

Check in was at 16:00, but I arrived at 09:00 after a very long trip. Staff was so nice and allowed me to check in so early. That was very kind

Honestly I dont have anything to point, I stayed a few times already.

basic hotel, nice and simple. nothing major around for night life, limited places to go. For us as travelers the laundromat on the same block was a big plus. If you need such service that's generally hard to find in Europe it was a blessing.

I have been staying for a few times, and check in is super fast, as soon as I arrive, my key is already waiting at the reception desk. Super fast & comfortable

The location

I was placed in a room for people with reduced mobility, when asked the staff to move the room, they told me it wasn’t possible, since hotel was full and only suites were available. This lowered my experience at the hotel, beside the very strong smell (bleach smell); showers don’t have curtain.

Beds were great, everything was clean.

The breakfast was amazing and the location was good

I asked for early check-in (I think check-in at 4pm is absurd), and I had nowhere to stay until check-in and I called the Hotel to ask about this possibility. Customer service didn't even check availability and denied my request.

Not a lot

I love it! The people it’s great, very very nice for everyone! The room was very clean, it’s near of the center, and the bathroom it’s great!The breakfast was also very good with great people from the hotel!

I really like everything!

- Breakfast was ok, AC was good considering it were really hot days, TV was good (DTV channels) and the bathroom was, overall, looking clean.

- Room had a weird bad smell, some grumpy staff, not all, breakfast staff was nicer, smell in the room, price not aligned at all with the quality and service provided. - Bed had strange looking marks, as if someone had a "nail fight" in bed. Truly weird and disturbing.

Pleasant staff and great service. Clean room and a very nice hotel.

Our room was next to a technical room and we could hear the sound of a machine during the night.

Would be nice to have the option of breakfast on the terrace adjacent to bar. Some background music would be good in the breakfast room

They kindly supplied an iron and hairdryer upon request but were unable to supply an ironing board which meant it really was impossible to iron the garments that were needed.

Exceeded my expectations for the price. Nice modern room, very clean with an excellent breakfast. They also have bicycle storage if required

We were on a cycling trip and they had safe storage for our bikes. Staff were helpful. The receptionist in the morning gave us some information about our cycling route.Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. There was air conditioning which we used as room got very hot.Breakfast was good, different options, good coffee and spacious dining room.

They seem to have a problem with sewage or drains (it has been mentioned before here), which caused a smell in the bathroom. We kept the bathroom door closed and that was ok.
