    Pros +

    • The location is excellent and the room clean and comfortable. The outdoor is really nice. The restaurant good and the breakfast very good.
    • Very clean and taken care. Breakfast is good but a little expensive
    • A great chill out location, the food was good, also a good gym and spa. The deluxe rooms have very nice balconies with some of the best views

    Cons -

    • The access to the spa was only through the outside since the internal elevator was not working. This might be ok if the weather is good but not satisfactory when the weather is not so good as it was the case. Furthermore the hotel guests have access only to the sauna and hammam without any relax area or other areas of the spa so in fact you have to walk outside just to do a sauna and have no place to relax. This is definitively unsatisfactory for the expected standards and the price.
    • A little old. The bath for example.Dinner was below average and expensive.
    • The rooms are dated and definitely need a renovationThe beach has very few beach beds (around 20), so unless you come very early they are all gonna be takenNo office table/desk in the roomThe reception ladies were great, but the guy with the curly hair was completely incompetent. He first tried to double-charge me for the room despite having already paid through booking.com. Later when I wanted to extend the stay he said I would need to change rooms, but when I talked to other people at reception they told me it’s not necessary and I can stay in the same one.Overall I enjoyed my stay, but it felt more like a 4 star hotel for the price of 5 stars

View from the pool was nice.

Beer was flat. Pool floor was slippery. Food was below average for type of property. Hotel was outdated and middle of no where.

Beautiful facility... wonderful rooms. The view is just gorgeous. Brice, the rooms division manager was great. We had one small issue and he attended to it promptly and even connected with us the next day personally. We would definitely recommend it!

Front of house staff was very friendly, location was beautiful, beach area was ok but underwhelming for price. Rooms were very nice.

Food was unbelievably overpriced and just not very good. Restaurants and cafe were slow, forgot about us, portions were comically small and laughably expensive. Check in was very slow.

+ Private beach with sunbeds and parasols, pebble shore and sand bottom+ Live music 2-3 times a week on evenings+ Free parking+ Good restaurant on site+ Jetski / paddle rentals on site+ Friendly staff quickly resolves all issues in a friendly and professional manner

    - Hard to find location: no any sign where to turn from the main road- Small room with tiny balcony with very uncomfortable hard wooden chairs - Bathrooms, doors, room furniture, hallways need urgent renovation- Breakfast selection is not corresponding to 5* hotel, e.g. fish is missing, you need to ask for eggs, water etc- Empty mini-bar with only still water available in the fridge- Restaurant on site is rather expensive (we paid same price that Michelin-stared restaurant charged us for a dinner)- No underground / shaded parking, as a result car turns hot even before lunch - No any activities offered (e.g. no newspapers/magazines to read, no mini-golf or table tennis to play)

Best hotel in Ajaccio. Old concept and facilities, but managed well. Restaurant and food are excellent.

The staff is attentive but not effective in meeting clients needs. Feels somehow more administrative than in the hospitality area.

The location is amazing and overall the experience was positive. The garden and pool are amazing, like the views from the hotel and the room we got with terrace

The breakfast is extremely expensive for the bad service provided. The service on the restaurant for the breakfast and the bar at night was very bad.. no motivated, keep forgetting our orders every single day we were there (5 days)The room and specially bathroom need renovation.

The hotel is great, the location is perfect. Pool, gym, spa - everything is well maintained and with a good service. Service in particularly is very good everywhere in the hotel. Our special gratitude goes to Audrey from the Guest relationship department - she was very helpful and responsive! Excellent communication skills!

    setting, private beach, staff

area around the pool could be nicer (quite bland)

    7GeorgePosted on: 8-4-2022

The hotel is located in a truly beautiful place, it is very enjoyable to be there. The staff were very professional, helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed the beach and the maginificent views.

The main problem with this hotel is the value for money. When you go to a hotel in this price range you truly expect a lot more than you get here. Despite the beautiful property, the building itself clearly needs a complete renovation, it has clearly not been renovated in around 25 years. There isn't really a feeling of luxury. One thing that was extremely, extremely unpleasant was that in the middle of our stay, the hotel decided to organize a live music concert right in the middle of the hotel grounds. We were informed the night before with an invite to attend at a charge of 150 euros per person. As we are not interested in this (and another reason why we picked a hotel on a cape, far away from the party zones) We left for the evening but returned at 11.30, and of course were unable to sleep, you could literally fees the bass beats in the room, which was facing the concert directly. People from outside the hotel came. They began rehearsing at 6 pm, you could hear the music on the beach, and didnt stop until 12.30 am. This is extremely surprising and annoying from a 5 star hotel, where people with small children come. If this happened in a 3 star, 80euro per night all-inclusive in Turkey, I would not be too surprised. But in a 5 star 'luxury' hotel on Corsica - come on.... the music was probably of the lowest quality I have ever heard. The food was also a little underwhelming. I was really expecting more. What made this stay good for me was the location, which really is incredible, and the staff. Don't get me wrong -- it's not a bad hotel, the atmosphere is really pleasant overall and it was relaxing. But if you are charging 500 euros per night for a double room, you need to not cut corners with food and organize awful concerts to make some extra cash. This is just beyond comprehension.

What I really liked about the property is the view. It is absolutely stunning and peaceful.

The food was ok but not amazing and not at the level of a 5 stars hotel. The service was a bit rigid.

    7NigelPosted on: 7-22-2022

    Staff and location was good.

No lift all throughout our stay to 2nd floor. And the property needs refurbishment in certain areas especially the rooms for the rates they are charging. Breakfast is very expensive and the restaurants are rip offs 140euro for a small fish.
