Nice place, freindly and courteous staff, hotel near the beautiful castle and in the historical part of Poppi! Rooms were clean, bathroom somewhat small but nothing to complain about! Breakfast was sufficient !

Poppi is a serious challenge to navigate, and a +/- 3 minute call to the hotel yielded a real-time rerouting by the desk staff that powered us around the one-way streets and congestion and got us to their parking lot from a near-but-oh-so-far starting point. The spotless room was simple but spacious, and it boasted an excellent armoire that was very functional and practical, There was also a nice view. The location, though tough to reach without guidance, proved to be excellent for walking. And yes, there was a parking space for us! Breakfast was excellent.

We had no complaints.

Elise and Carolina helped to make our stay wonderful. They facilitated anything we needed or asked. Room #6 has a fabulous balcony with spectacular views. It was a relaxing and interesting stay in Poppi.

Like a glimpse into the past (decoration, village).. with all the advantages of modernity and a great breakfast outside, with a wonderful view. Great place

Staff, views, service

The kindness and helpfulness of the lady owner exceeded all my expectations. She willingly changed rooms for me when the opportunity arose, because I wanted to try a room with a balcony. She sent an assistant car and helped me with translation when my car broke down in a distant city. Whatever I asked, I got an answer from her, she provided a solution. The accommodation is breathtaking, wery clean, comfortable and quiet. The lady owner and his colleague are very kind, the landscape and the city are beautiful, and the nearby restaurants are excellent.It was amazing, thank you so much!

The hotel is very charming and recommended! Breakfast and view splendid.

The normal rooms look very different from the main piture -- I didn't pay attention to the details apparently and thought we would stay in the beautiful looking room, which was disappointing but in the end my mistake.

The view was spectacular! The hosts were very nice, and provided us breakfast with her own baked cake. Room was clean and warm. Bed was comfortable.

The receptionists were just wonderful, arranged for a driver to pick me up from the station and take me back the next day (I had to pay as I'd expected), they let me check in early and stay till the driver collected me, the breakfast was great, the room was spacious and comfortable, hot shower, beautiful view.

Lovely staff, easy to communicate with via messaging before arrival. Easy parking out the front. Perfect location, great breakfast

Some guests were noisy arriving back late and talking inbthe lobby area after we were in bed

The hotel is part of the castle, opening the windows and seeing the beautiful fields of Tuscany - felt like prince and princess sleeping over :)Breakfast under the grapes with the view very romantic, absolutely worth it!

Very strict check-in and out rules

I booked this room for a friend, who originally was not part of our plans. I can only tell you what he had told me. He had no complaints regarding the room or the hotel itself.

I was staying at resort Borgo Corsignano for the wedding of my niece. My friend was originally not part of our travel plans, so there was no room for him at the resort. I thought that the town and the resort were closer to each other and I also didn't know how narrow the streets were at the top of the old part of Poppi, so picking him up and bringing him back home was a bit of a hassle for the two nights we were in Poppi.

Nice view and quiet location. Parking directly in front. Good breakfast.

amazing view, just as in picture! very friendly staff, comfy bed and beautiful space in this historic building.

The shower was a bit narrow, and the apparatus for the fixation of the douche wasn’t good so we had to hold it by hand.other than the shower everything was perfect!

The room was only accessible through the garden. The room nothing to do with the fotos they post. No chair were you could sit comfortably and read. The floor cold and no carpetsMatress of poor quality. Limited heating, during noon and evenings. I felt lots of discomfort . The saloon with open doors all around at outside temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius. The reception even worse.The breakfast mediocre and room cold and unpleasant too.
