Antico Sipario Boutique Hotel, BW Signature Collection

An absolutely wonderful place. Such friendly and welcoming owners, so much going on in it. Theater, a café. that was obviously popular with neighbors, and a family running it that is very committed to making a guest¿s experience memorable. We loved it!

Claudio is a terrific host. He helped us with reservations, information about the area, getting a cab as needed, indulged my desire to practice Italian, and treated us like treasured guests. The hotel is beautiful, food is great, loved it!

I think Antico Sipario is perfect!

Our Room was outstanding, including the view, spacious, quiet, and we loved the shower! We really enjoyed Claudio’s impeccable communication and responsiveness. Easy check in and checkout! Local recommendations were much appreciated. He was also personable, friendly and informative, accessible 24-7 !!Thanks for a memorable stay ❤️

Beautiful location and surrounding areas. Claudio was an exceptional host and gave lovely recommendations and told us about the history of the area. Went above and beyond for us. Stunning room with an amazing view. Delicious breakfast and excellent value. Overall our favourite place we stayed on our travels and I hope to be back again!!

The hotel is gorgeous and inside a medieval village! Good internet connection, well stocked, proper AC. The staff was incredible, showed us where to go inside Paciano and the next day on our travels. The breakfast was incredible! Highlight of our trip to Italy and we will definitely return!

Claudio, the owner and manager of Antico Sipario, is contagiously enthousiastic and very, very hospitable. In addition, he's full of tips about the surroundings. You can ask anything you want to know about the region. Breakfast is a mix of local specialities (including the family's own olive oil) and contintental breakfast. You can ask for more or less of any of the ingredients and vent your own wishes.

Nothing was less than expected, except for having to leave again ;).

I like the way a medieval building was carefully transformed into a luxury hotel with a theatre theme.

Wonderful artistic hotel in a small beautiful village. Claudio is the best host ever, he helped us with a lot of information - where to go, what to see, in which restaurants to try the local food. Our room was always clean and very comfortable. It was our first time in Umbria and really hope to come back again some day!

Everything was just perfect!

It was an exceptionally positive surprise. The hotel is great, the host is exceptional and you are taken care as if you were really a guest at his home.It would be a 5* hotel if it were not for the missing 24h restaurant.

The lift was slow (just trying to find something wrong)

Lovely historic hotel and spacious and comfortable room. Had all the mod cons and very quiet. Low my breakfast setting in garden area.

I liked everything.

Everything was perfect. The hotel itself has a lot of character and welcoming environment. The stuff were extremely helpful, they gave us advice for dinner and drinks and details about the town and the area. The room was huge and really comfortable to arrange our stuff. Bathroom amazing -big and clean- heating was appropriate for the temperature outside ( since we arrived in a cold day).

This was a real gem of a place. Everything exceeded our expectations, location, renovation of an ancient palazzo, style, querkyness (breakfast starts with your choice of a huge and varied selection of cups/mugs) and the professional warmth of welcome.

The weather!

Our stay at Antico Sipario was absolutely perfect in every way. We loved our room, loved the atmosphere of the hotel, the quiet, the character, the "backstory" behind the hotel's very existence. Claudio was an exceptionally attentive host, and made our stay very pleasant indeed! Well done!

There's nothing we didn't like about our stay except that it only lasted one night!

This is the perfect place to relax in the heart of a spectacular area between Tuscany and Umbria. The hotel is in an historical building that has been renovated with a theatre theme. The hosts are always available and very keen to help.The courtyard garden is beautiful both for breakfast and aperitivo time.

We were met by very kind and helpful owner Claudio, who welcomed us to the very beautiful Antico Sipario, a newly renovated charming historic hotel/theatre in the incredibly beautiful city of Paciano. Claudio also helped us lots with getting us safe to our next destination. We appreciate the help and felt very much at home. Thank you. Until next time ☺️

The has been renovated to a very high standard and feels new., but retains all the character of the original building. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a walk-in shower as well as a spa bath. There is a lift to help with luggage (although a bit slow). Free parking is just outside the city wall, an easy one minute walk away. Claudio, the owner/manager could not have been kinder or more helpful.
