    Pros +

    • It was ok for a night’s stay.
    • Beautiful location, hot tub was an added bonus and the best fish and chips we’ve had.
    • Cozy little cabin in the lofoten islands, awesome views great for a group of friends travelling.

    Cons -

    • The room I got smelled of cigarette plus there were stains and hair on the sheet.
    • Somewhat remote, all nearby towns and restaurants were just under an hour away from the cabin.
    • Place quite far from attraction and main cities.Bathroom should be improved to provide better use experience.

We stopped at Offersøy on our way back to Sweden from the Lofoten. We chose it out of convenience, but we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the surroundings were. We definitely recommend staying longer than we did to fully enjoy the area. The room was very nice, and the staff was very kind.

The location was so quiet and relaxing. The double room accommodation was very comfortable, with its own terrace and seating area. The owner and his son were really friendly and engaged us in conversation about the black and white photographs of previous decades. The food was delicious. Would make a return visit.

    Better signage needed.

Nice view. Really nice place. Everything you need was there. Functional kitchen. For a family perfect stay. Rabbits were running everywhere. Kids loved them.

The building itself had character, the person at check-in was nice and helpful, the drive to the area was nice. Good kitchen available with plenty of space for food.

The room was super old and needs renovation. One of the pillows was so flat I couldn't sleep well. There were dust behind the bed. The bathroom was really old and not inviting. I don't recommend the private room, the cottages may be different though.

I nice location. I also liked the place to sit outside.

The common kitchen was to small. Only one table for five rooms.

    8MaaritPosted on: 7-5-2024

The sea view from the terrace/pier was awesome. And it was possible to go swimming from it.

Bread toaster would have been really nice. There wasn't floor wiper in the bathroom.

I'm not sure how to review this accommodation. I stayed there out of season, and when I arrived everything was closed. The weather was grey and dark, it was raining, an empty closed house at the end of the road and a lone naive tourist hoping to stay for the night -- many murder-mystery novels start that way! Anyway, I called the number on the door and the owner drove down quickly. While technically open, I was the only guest so it didn't operate as it would normally. No option for dinner or breakfast, for example, which are offered in the summer. I had access to my room, and to a small kitchen at the end of the corridor. All other doors were locked. I didn't see the host again in the morning, I just left the keys in the mailbox. With good weather there must be some great sea shore walks around the hotel.

The two single beds in the room were not standard width, but quite noticeably narrower. I had a couple of scares when turning over at night and slipping off the side. Some things weren't working in the kitchen, like the hot plates. The only shop around is a tiny convenience store 3km up the road, at the last crossroad. It closes at 17:00 so you better plan well, after that your next option is in Lødingen, 40km away.

Lovely place and the meal was fantastic.

Bedroom was a bit spartan. Arrived at 5.30 to be told that the kitchen closed at 6.00pm. Advance notice would have been good.

My god the food is so good ! The staff is very nice, the location is great (right near the sea) and my room was super spacious.

A very cozy old family hotel. A bit far away from main road, but it worth this.

    8JaakkoPosted on: 7-5-2023

Quiet place about 30 mins drive from E10. The cold salmon with sour cream was very delicious in the hotel's restaurant.

The beds were narrow. The restaurant menu has a very limited number of options and all of them were on the expensive side. The hotel has a few e-bikes for rent, but the one I got was in very poor condition. The hotel is at the end of one very narrow road.

Very nice communication with the staff. Nice location by the sea. Possible to buy dinner/breakfast or small kitchen included on the floor with fridge as well so U can cook something.

    8HeikkiPosted on: 7-22-2022

We left early so the breakfast was packed for us. The package included a big ham-cheese-bread, instant coffee beans/tea, yoghurt, apple.

    10EstherPosted on: 7-22-2022

Great friendliness of the staff: they always helped us when we needed it. Very comfortable room and wonderful surroundings.

    Everything was perfect.

    8MäkiPosted on: 7-11-2022

    - The cabin was excellent, we enjoyd it a lot. - We had a reservation for a boat but we didn't have to pay for it because we couldn't use it due to the wheater conditions.

We went fishing, but we couldn't use a boat because the wind was too high. The problem is that the location is close to the open sea and you are at mercy of the wind.

    10ValeriePosted on: 6-9-2022

The food was amazing, for dinner and breakfast. The place is great, a lot to do around in the nature. And people there are very helpful.
