- Lovely boutique hotel. Great breakfast included. Owners very friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.
- The owners are extremely attentive and accommodating, the hotel was very nice and their breakfast was excellent, would return and recommend it highly.
- Lovely location in the middle of a beautiful Andalusian town. Within walking distance of everything in the town. I was not feeling well and the staff prepared a wonderful breakfast tray so my friend could bring it to the room. They also allowed us to check out later so I could get more rest. Their kindness and concern was very appreciated!
Cons -
- To get to this hotel you need an automobile to be able to travel to the center of town.
- Nothing, very charming. The town itself is hilly and to get to the property you do have to climb a little, but it is well worth it!

Charming boutique hotel. Great communication and most welcoming hosts, Miki and Alfonso made us very comfortable. The breakfast service was really good with freshly baked croissant, eggs, tostadas, cereals, fruit juice beverages etc and the honesty bar a nice touch. They gave good directions and recommendations of places to eat and visit in Mojacar. Unfortunately we visited during the electricity cut that effected the whole of Spain, but they kept us all up to date with what was happening. The double ensuite room was clean and comfortable with a balcony and views over the mountains. Would definitely recommend.
Great small hotel. Spotlessly clean and amazing views of the mountain. Perfectly located closed to many restaurants. The room was perfectly adequate and had everything we needed. Alberto wasn’t a fantastic host. He served breakfast on the terrace where the views were outstanding and a great breakfast.
Loved this hotel, cant recommend it highly enough. Alberto and Miki are the most amazing hosts, they can't do enough for you. Can't wait to return in July to our little piece of paradise
It was so pretty and quaint with such beautiful personal service , from the welcome to the breakfast to the check out ,Alberto and Miki were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble
It was perfect
A quirky little hotel right in the heart of the old town. The room, whilst small, was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. Parking was a real advantage.
An easily accessible property in the heart of Mojacar which provided all that was needed for an enjoyable stay in an idyllic setting.
I loved the location, the view from the veranda was breathtaking and I loved the fact that they displayed local artist work.
The location is fabulous. And the views from the terrace for breakfast are outstanding. The fresh breakfast is lovely and the homemade marmalade absolutely delicious! The honesty bar is a lovely touch. Alberto and miki are friendly and helpful
Unfortunately the old building (which is beautiful) has noisy plumbing. We could hear showering from other guests. For us it was just too noisy. We were moved straight away once we mentioned it and this did help. I'm sure nothing can be done about this and perhaps we were just noise sensitive. Perhaps the balcony rooms wouldn't have this problem. But we still enjoyed our stay, it's just something to be aware of.
Warm welcome, amazing location, beautifully decorated, friendly hosts, lovely breakfast with home produce.
We had a very nice two day stay at the lovely Boutique Hotel El Oliver, a quaint and well run, family owned boutique hotel in old town Mojacar, with it's cobblestone streets and old town charm. The hotel owners (Alberto and Miki) are a delightful, hard-working young couple who clearly take pride in providing their guests a comfortable stay. The personalized rooftop breakfast was delicious, with poached eggs, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as many other options. The rooms were cozy and comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Our room had a balcony and, additionally, there is a rooftop patio with great views and an "honesty" bar. The location within the old town was perfect with easy access to the many restaurants and shops. For those who struggle with being at the beach or in quaint "old town", not to worry, as beach access is a pleasant 20 minute downhill walk OR you can catch the local bus for just over a Euro. My wife and I are in our 70's and the walk to the beach was an easy, pleasant walk and there are three buses per hour to return to old town. We arrived on motorcycles and were provided secure, underground parking under the hotel for a nominal charge. We will definitely return to Hotel El Oliver, next time we are visiting the area.
nothing I can think of
Great location, fantastic value for money & loved the honesty bar
Our room was an internal room, no window to enjoy the fabulous views, I would book an external room next time
It was an ideal location very quaint and having the private use of the sauna was great
Its uniqueness and not over big
From the beginning of our stay Alberto and Miko were at our disposition ready to answer all of our questions with a smile. We felts exremely comfortable during all our stay despite the weather not being the best. The surrounding and the attention to detail was very well thought out and we will definitely come back if the time presents!
Fantastic to see a young couple delivering such a personalised experience. From artistic touches to what must rank as one of the most complete, quality personalised breakfasts, this deserves far more than the 3 stars of its rating. The rooftop terrace is private and an excellent spot to appreciate the views or to sunbathe. Breakfast in the breakfast room is a calming, relaxed experience. Lovely !
Be careful of the stairs going down inside the property but perfectly understandable given it is built on a mountainside. A few non-Sapnish TV stations, even of a news channel, would have been welcome
Very lovely hosts, knowledgeable and super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble! Hotel is well equipped for it's size and modern. The services offered are well thought out and useful. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. The views from our balcony were outstanding. There is an honesty bar so help yourself and be honest and pay for what you use. A lovely roof terrace with a shower and lounging facilities. There is no lift but there are accessible rooms on the ground floor. Secure underground parking is extra but very useful. The hotel is well located to access everything in the town easily. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.
Nothing haha everything was really amazing
This is a gold standard small hotel. Fab location at top of Mojacar Pueblo with roof terrace views, great owners and delicious breakfast. Hotel is beautifully decorated with local artwork. Beds are extremely comfortable and a good shower. There is also a well stocked honesty fridge. Lots of little touches that make it memorable. Also, a secure underground car park beneath the hotel. 10/10 from us.
Nothing to fault.
Excellent location, and the help and assistance with recommendations of places to eat (and park!) from Alberto was great. The room was clean and everything we needed had been thought of! We'd certainly stay again ??
