    Pros +

    • The historic vibe of the building. Easy check in process. Luxurious room
    • Water cooker leaked a bit, which is not bad in itself, but not knowing that at the beginning had me burn damage my book as i was making tea.
    • Comfortable bed. Nice room

    Cons -

    • The room was cold and took a while to get warm
    • I asked questions in English, and they kept responding in Dutch. Hotel mostly for locals from Netherlands
    • Our room was very small. The safe was not working and we had to wait until next day before it was fixed. You could only enter and exit the bed from one side which was difficult especially if you needed to get up in the night. We are eldetly and found it difficult to navigate in such a small space. We were very disappointed with the room as we have stayed at this hotel before and had a large room.

Very comfortable. Cold beer and great bitterballen downstairs in the bar :)

Nice, affordable hotel close enough to the Wellness spa

That hotel lobby is also closed in the day/mornings when the restuarant is closed. Very disconcerting to find no one there, doors locked... ;( Finally reached someone by phone. Please make this evident here on booking! And also in a welcome message to travelers.

Good hotel but disastrous communication in case you need a simple invoice.

Impossible to get an invoice after several weeks and many messages on different channels.

Nice room, good restaurant for dinner, other restaurants around as well as Albert Hein store..., easy parking...

well, no problem to have breakfast across the street in bakery, but for 4* hotel as per booking trully nothing special, then I preffer to visit supermarket and to have my own choice...

Cozy and cute place and the surroundings were also nice , the beds were comfortable and the room facilities were complete.

Cleanness was not acceptable , The towels had disgusting yellow spots on them.

The location is perfect as not far from the windmills village and to Volendam. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, the bed’s comfy, the facilities in the room were also great. They have a good restaurant and tasty food too. We enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely go back to stay here again for the next time

The accommodation and location are both beautiful. The hotel is recently renovated to a high standard, and is situated centrally in the picturesque town of Middenbeemster.

The digital key system was a recurring pain. We never initially received our digital key, so upon arrival we had no way to enter the hotel. With no onsite staff, and the Booking.com phone number receiving no response, we eventually found an emergency number and were provided with the digital key. Even so, the key was unreliable, sometimes taking 30+ seconds to actually activate. The room was also uncomfortably cold (in the middle of summer), and the thermostat had no effect. This left us either too hot under the warm covers, or freezing cold outside of them, leading to a poor nights sleep.

Nice boutique hotel in the town centre. Excellent restaurant and bar. Separate entrance for residents. Lift access to first floor. Parking easy and free. Breakfast across the raid at the bakery was excellent for €12

Very nice and lovely design hotel in a super lovely neighborhood. We have stayed in this hotel already twice and will definitely go back. Love it!

The breakfast cannot be adjusted to the individual needs, everyone gets served the same type of meal, but there are no full-vegetarian or no meat options.

The ancient building and how it had been converted to modern but the interior still retained its look.

Awesome hotel with great location. Try the restaurant- more than worth it. Rooms clean and comfortable beds.

    10LewisPosted on: 4-4-2024

The room was incredibly stylish and well designed. We were impressed with the attention to detail and general decor. The bed was very comfortable and facilities were well equipped (I.e. coffee, tea etc). The staff were very friendly and the food at the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was excellent. We would definitely stay again!

    All great

The breakfast was a feast It wasn’t clear when I booked that it was not included but for 15 it was fine

I found the lack of reception disconcerting and I felt a bit insecure as my digital key didn’t work the first time

Great breakfast. Nice large room , clean. We would stay again next time we pass buy.

Efficient friendly room service. Only the nachos were not good

    10DominikPosted on: 2-5-2024

Hotel new inside, really comfortable bed, TV with youtube app, parking in front, food in restaurant super tasty. Hotel staff helpful

    7AlbertPosted on: 12-27-2023

The staff of the restaurant was extremely friendly and attentive. The village of Middenbeemster is lovely.

The hotel is actually an hotel-restaurant where the restaurant seems to be the main business. The hotel has its own entrance and check in is via an entry code. The elevator to the higher floors is hard to operate or figure out. Especially when arriving in the evening after a long trip. The room was too small for the double bed. We could not walk around it. Church bells from nearby church kept us awake.
