Everything. Friendly staff, great breakfast, super clean, nice pool and sauna. Comfortable rooms with great beds.

The rooms were cleaned but unfortunately we had a bad smell in one of the rooms, coming from the bathroom.

I loved the spa/pool area and the lovely pool was heated!! Everything was first class,really nice big towels, tea, water and fruit availability. My spacious room with balcony had a wonderful view of the lake and was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, breakfast offered excellent choices. Highly recommend this hotel!

Friendly staff at reception and in restaurant. Check-in was possible earlier than expected. Nice wellness area. Stylish restaurant with lake-view terraсe. Roof-top room was very cozy for single person - I would love it in cold weather, but...

...Roof-top room has no air conditioner and is located on sunny side. It was +30 in the room on sunny day. This type of room is uncomfortable for warm summer days.

Everything, a really happy hotel.I think we had an upgrade to our booked room with a view of the lake, next time I will book a room with the view! The outdoor swimming pool in January is great and the wellness suite is lovely

The staff was very friendly and kind, the bed very comfortable, the breakfast ample and delicious, a bakery and bank ATM right next door, the location within walking distance to the lake.

The bar closes too early, some of the reception staff could be nicer, it was too expensive for what you get (we stayed in July)

Very quiet, relaxing and nice. Everyone seemed in total balance and everything was friendly, food was nice, the room was nice, the view from the balcony was great.

I cannot think of anything I did not like.

Nothing at all

I was very happy that I decided to stay for 2 nights at Seehotel Adler. The location of the hotel was perfect. Especially after the snow, it looked like fairy tale. Spa area is superb and clean.The morning breakfast was wholesome. I would certainly like to stay here in the future again.Unfortunately, I did not have time to try the restaurant.Not to forget, the view from the hotel roof-deck was simply breath taking.

My room was on the ground floor. I woke up couple of times in the night because I could hear people in the hotel lobby.I am assuming, some guests who arrived late (?) were trying to check-in.

Would have liked a kettle in room with tea and coffee making facilities.

Was a little unsure of this hotel, but it fitted our travel needs. However, the hotel and the surrounding facilities changed my view and overall rating. Our experience was helped by it being a glorious sunny day and being able to sit on the lakeside and have a few beers, along with quality food only helped. My friends took a stroll along the lakeside front, which was just at the front of the hotel, parking was marked for hotel guest and right in front of the hotel. Facilities were available, swimming pool (outdoors), sauna and fitting rooms, not that we used these, but were available if needed.

Nothing, had a very good stop over stay.

Reception staff were excellent. English spoken to make up for my woeful German.Breakfast was truly lovely.Beautiful location on the lake.Swimming pool a welcome bonus after a long day’s driving.Good choice of restaurants very close by.

We booked the room with lake view which was not a great view from the side.They are in construction which create the noise and bad view, the staff did not let us know about it when we checked in.The pool was next to the lake but no view to the lake which is a pity.

Wonderful wellness area with four saunas and outdoor pool. The restaurant is worth a visit, same as the breakfast. Special thanks to the exceptionally friendly staff in hotel and restaurant. Nice surrounding directly at the lake and right next to the train station - easy to reach for any carbon-friendly traveller. Ludwigshafen itself is small, but also good starting point for visits e.g. to Überlingen, Reichenau or Konstanz.
