Very quiet and clean. Comfy beds. Very friendly and courteous reception. Breakfast very good.

The staff was kind and the breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable and the blinds could block out the street lights

The coffee & tea facilities in the room was not suited for tea. A coffee machine was available, and it could heat water if no coffee pad was put inside, but it would still taste of coffee.The sink for the bathroom was in the bedroom, turning on the bathroom light also turned on the light above the sink. Meaning it was not possible to turn on the bathroom light, without also flooding the bedroom in light. Furthermore the room was not the best insulated of rooms, conversations in the hall were loud and clear in the bedroom.

The room was quite large with a nice bathroom, two separate rooms and a bed in the living room. Great value for money.The restaurant's chef, Christian, prepared for us the best steak I have eaten in several years.

The staff had limited English so we could only communicate with them in German.We had to move the car in the morning because or limited parking.

It is not so fa from the train station and the bus stop is very closely .

We were accommodated in the apartment at the last level of the historical house. The apartment in at the second floor under the roof and, in a couple of points, the roof beams were too low, in particular near the bed where I bumped the bed edge corner a couple of times.Adding there was a wood stair just in the middle of the room.The bathroom size is very reduced but the shower is comfortable.I would suggest to remove the kitchen so to use the apartment as a normal hotel room.I suggest not to book the breakfast, there is a bakery just 50 meter before where you can have your breakfast.The hotel provide a free card to use bus and train so you can travel around without any cost and this is positive. Unfortunately the village don’t offer so much.

Very clean well run hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff throughout! Excellent evening meal and fantastic breakfast on the terrace. Would highly recommend.

Clean and cozy place to live. Good breakfast. Friendly staffs. 5 to 10 minutes walk to BD and big supermarket.

1. No air conditioner, no elevator.2. Need to open windows in summer time but there is no net preventing mosquitoes. So bugs and mosquitoes come into the room.3. Hotel is next to church so it’s a little bit noisy every half hour while the church bell rings.

Very clean hotel, Nice welcome in reception, large room with a nice decor, good location though not in front of the lake. Easy to park the car in front of the hotel.

Very loud music from The restaurant below until 23.00. The bed was so soft it felt like a waterbed, very uncomfortable. No refrigerator in the room, breakfast was ordinary - eggs very hard boiled and bread not fresh. Bathroom a bit outdated.

Breakfast was excellent, coffee machine, orange juice, bread and cheese, various meats all delicious. We had a meal in the restaurant which was tasty and the staff were wonderful despite our limited German language skills.

Hotel room is overpriced. For the same price is better to take an apartment which is double the space.

There was a misunderstanding about our booking, which the host solved by putting us in a nearby studio apartment also managed by the hotel. The apartment was very quiet, a bit away from the road, and very comfortable. The floor was very nice, not carpeted. Breakfast was very good.

The misunderstanding apparently involved miscommunication between the hotel and booking.com. The hotel had a policy requiring a minimum 2-night stay because of the holiday weekend (which did not appear at booking.com).

Everything was great ! However, I will focus on two parameters that, according to my principles, are non-negotiable. For example: 1. Friendly and warm atmosphere from all employees. 2. Very clean room and all other hotel areas.

The check-in time is very late (at 16:00). Half of the vacation day, has gone.

Very handy to the town and lake , clean and comfortable good breakfast.

All staff personnel were smiling and kind and friendly. The room had large windows that open as well as a balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the location central. I would stay here again.

Diggers started work at 7am , appreciate this is nothing to do with owners of property, just unfortunate for next year.

Very disappointing

We had a comfortable and enjoyable night's stay, which was unfortunately completely spoiled by the manager charging us more than the Booking.com pre-booked price. Despite being shown the confirmatory email with the details, he became rude and dismissive, saying he did not care about 'their price', he was going to charge us his price. Avoid this hotel if you value courtesy and good customer service.

The hotel was nice and the room was very comfortable. The bed was great. The bathroom has an unusual setup but it was convenient. The toilet was in its own room, while shower and the sink were in little "sitting room". That "sitting room" had also a little table with chairs, coffee maker. Was actually very useful setup. The location was not for tourism but just to have a stay on the way between Konstanz and next point of traveling. The breakfast was very nice, good selection.

The hotel does not have an elevator and dragging a suitcase several flights of stairs was not the best option.

Very close to city center and the lake river.

Breakfast was a bit poor, maybe some handcrafted marmelade or scrumbled eggs would have been a plus.
