Pros +
- The. View and decent clean room
- the nice thing is the View but the hotel is older and would need some modern Updates for my liking.
- everything, great location, pool is good, has lots of amenities, very clean, and staff is amazing
Cons -
- The food was disgusting. Minimal choice at buffet which closed very early And hat to leave by 10 amNo help offered with luggage and I’m 84 and walk with a stick
- The hotel is located on a hill, which makes it quite challenging for older guests to walk up and down. More accessible paths or additional transportation options would be appreciated. There is a shuttle service to the town, but it only runs once an hour and stops at 7 p.m., so we often had to rely on taxis in the evening. The food at the buffet was okay, but it would have been nice to have more variety — especially some Italian options instead of mainly goulash and pork dishes. Breakfast was also rather limited. I really missed having something fresh like sliced cucumbers or peppers. They did have these items at the dinner buffet, so it would be easy to offer them in the morning as well.Overall, it felt like the hotel was doing the bare minimum rather than going the extra mile to make the stay more enjoyable.
- (1) The apartment we were in is very hot during the day (mid June). The AC is very old and doesn't have big enough power to cool the big double-floor room quick enough. (2) The hotel and the room are really old and outdated, and don't look very clean. (3) At night lots of people next door were drinking and playing loud music on their speakers, so it was really noisy EVERY night. (4) The location is quite some walk from the old town if you don't take the hourly shuttle (cost 1.5 euro) or the bus outside which is much less frequent. (5) The pool was always full of people and kids so not much time you could enjoy. (6) The dinner buffet sometimes could get really crowded so they had to temporarily shut down the entrance.

Nice view of the lake and Limone town. The hotel has a shuttle to pick you from the ferry port in the town (but it took us some effort to figure out the exact pickup location) which run once every hour. Nice small kitchen and fridge in the room so we can cook.

We had two twin beds in our bedroom, which was great! Our hotel room was wonderful and looked out to our private belcony & extender out to a public area looking onto the lake. Good location, good price and breskfast. Loved the automatic black/curtains, great staff, pool, the only hard part was having to go into the reception building for WiFi, since the individual rooms don’t have WiFi.
No refrigerator, or inst-pot, but we made do. Parking was little bit difficult since it is mostly on a steep hill. No Wi-Fi in the individual rooms, it was only available reception/main building, so in the evening we had to go there.
The view, the pool, the restaurant
The houses were old and run down but the view makes up for that
Location overlooking the lake
Old, tired, no air conditioning, awful restaurant
Pros - location, views, hotel restaurantCons - no WiFi connection in apartment rooms
The view was amazing
Indoor pool closed too early. A lot of mosquito bites. They should invest for a lift installation for kids and adults to access the top rooms.
View, room and location are top: Lake Garda is a wonderful place and this structure is located in a fantastic observation point
Due to the resort architecture of the property, an assistance service for arriving baggage would make this hotel absolutely perfect. Moreover wifi is not available in the room, but only in the lobby
The View , the best in the Arena !!!
No frige in the rooms , no WLAN in̈ the rooms
Location is good, restaurant location for diner, breakfast is really nice in-outdoor with great views. Friendly staff.
The rooms. We stayed at two budget rooms because we did a switch, considering (budget) the rooms are done they need renovation. At the breakfast buffet there is a coffee machine you can use. Hands down we think the coffee ranks in the top-10 for worst coffee in Italy. It's truly terrible, it's amazing people could drink it... Well there are mainly Germain's so that does explain it a bit.
The location and the views were spectacular, couldn't ask for a better balcony to sit and watch the sunsets. The room was clean and had everything needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and spa areas were great.
The room was a bit tired and the food was average, though the pizza restaurant was very nice
Very good
The open terrace for residents on one floor was a bit uncomfortable. Other tenants were looking into our room through the balcony. We did not expect such a situation
It was situated with in easy reach of the main road around the lake. And the staff were lovely.
The “standard room” in our opinion was shabby, in poor repair with plug sockets that were either loose or pushed inside the wall cavity, air conditioning unit virtually ineffective and not properly secured to the wall. Decor was in poor condition and the advertised “landmark view” was of a bunch of olive trees that totally obscured the view of the lake. The staff did offer another room above to try and improve on the view situation, but its condition was equally as bad. The whole place feels tired and well and truly dilapidated. The staff did try and help after we raised our concerns, but in the midst of a mid 30’s heatwave we really need half decent air con which this hotel just didn’t have. So we left after 1 hour! They were unable to provide the 50 percent refund as we had “ booked in” - surely you book in at reception and then are offered your room? Can you please check into this element of your policy. And the room was situated away from the main hotel - reception was up 2 floors in a lift, across a makeshift bridge, then a walk to another flight of stairs followed by an uphill walk to the main building, then again up to 1 st floor to reception - all exhausting when it’s in the mid 3o’s outside.
The hotel has 2 pools. Very nice view from each room.
20 min walk from Limone. The rooms are not maintained properly. Very expensive, and when we asked for more towels and shampoo they didn't want to give.
The view from the pool. Reception staff and the staff in the pool bar were nice, very helpful.Great shuttle bus service into town.
Hotel is and probably has been for a long time in desperate need of sorting out. While the actual hotel room was spotlessly clean, the hotel is beyond tired and tatty. The grounds are a mess, overgrown and just cra* everywhere. There was no fridge in the room, so we couldnt keep and water cold, wifi didnt work in the room either. The cleaner woke us up all the mornings between 7 and 7.30 a.m. even on the day we were checking out. (Probably because of the amount of rooms she had to deal with)Pool was very tired.
Location was great, they had a mix up with our booking at the hotel which was already massively overpriced, and meant we had to pay more when we got there, but the staff sorted it and were a great help.
Very dated. For the price they charge they need to do some work on the interior, we saw pictures which weren’t of the rooms that we stayed in Breakfast wasn’t great
Room 8502- hilltop location, super panorama, 50 m from Sopino waterfall!
The location was OK, breakfast not worth having.
Air conditioning didn’t work in 36° heat. WiFi didn’t work and no mobile signal. Dark, dingy room decorated in the late 80s and not again since. Wires hanging from the walls. Parking virtually inaccessible. Many, many stairs to get from one place to another. Wouldn’t stay again, wouldn’t recommend.
