    Pros +

    • The location is unbeatable! Hotel All'Azzurro is directly on the lake and has beautiful views of Lake Garda and the surrounding area. We rented a car to drive there and had to park a ways from the hotel, but they picked us up and brought us and our luggage directly to the hotel.
    • Good location, decent breakfast, and the nice service of the luggage shuttle staff
    • Excellent, delicious breakfast, helpful and kind staff.A big terrace for the rooms was so good.Perfect location at the boat stop.

    Cons -

    • Dishonest front desk. Upon arrival, instead of explaining that they did not have my lakeview balcony room and offering apologies which I would have understood, they tried to sneakily give me an inferior interior facing room (different building and with broken shower drain) without explanation, hoping I would not notice. When I entered the room realizing it was not the room I booked, I had to confront the front desk, to which they hastily offered to fully compensate the next morning to quiet me. By next morning, they suddenly balked, and only after vigorous insisting did they compensate merely the difference in room price and with no apologies. That’s the least they should offer and I shouldn’t have to fight for it.I understand when rooms are overbooked or if a room suddenly has a problem. However it’s DISHONEST to not clearly explain the situation, trying to pass off a different room hoping the customer would not notice. They also lied about “full compensation no problem” to convince me to stay the night. Otherwise I could have the option to go elsewhere and not be forced to pay for a terrible room.If they simply explained from the beginning the room was unfortunately not available and offered to comp for even just the room price diff, I would be fine about it. Dishonesty leaves a bad taste.
    • The location, the meals, the kindness of staff.
    • Only that we should have stayed longer!

The view from our room was stunning. The service in the hotel restaurant was so friendly. We loved the outside tables, great for people watching while having breakfast in the sun. The pool was small but beautiful and not busy. It was a very relaxing weekend. We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and it was perfect.

Only that we should have stayed longer!

The breakfast, the shuttle from the parking and the location.

The cleaning personnel knocked on our door early in the morning one of the days we stayed there, waking us up. The communication between the personnel could have been better in these terms.

The location, the room had a balcony overlooking the lake and it was clean and comfy

We weren’t allowed to sit outside to eat a couple of times and a couple of the staff were rude in the restaurant but overall the staff were lovely.

Location was nice and close to the waters edge.

Our hotel room was not part of the hotel itself but beside it.

Staff fantastic, food was probably best we had our whole trip but nothing to shout about. Beautiful views.

Having a hire car the parking is advised as being at a sister hotel what they dont mention is they complete opposite ends of Limone, but they do provide collection via buggy service when you have your luggage. Ferry port being directly outisde hotel we found annoying as always busy and fumes from boats was over powering at times

Amazingly helpful staff. Lovely room with a fantastic view over the lake,

We enjoyed our stay. Its best trait was central location and view from the window/balcony. The room was decent, cleaned every day. The furniture and amenities were good quality, despite visible age. Staff was nice and helpful. It was a dog friendly place, for sure.

    I must say it didn't feel like 4-star hotel. It was pretty good given the location though. Some of the annoyances: AC was super loud, but necessary due to temperatures; breakfast was acceptable with some options, but coffee was worse than anything; in the bathroom there could be more towel hangers and shelves;

    The location

The food was atrocious, I live in Italy, I have never eaten so badly before in Italy

    7EkaterinaPosted on: 8-2-2024

The hotel is located super close to the boat station, in a nice old town area near the water. We asked for a quiet room and received one looking the opposing side, to the mountains, and it was nice and quiet, even though the room did not get a lot of sunlight. The room was modern and spacious and had a small walk-in closet, which was very convenient for our longer stay. We received free short trip boat tickets for a longer stay. The breakfast staff are super friendly and cheerful.I enjoyed the proximity to two wonderful beaches (one of them a bit hidden), and a nice swimming pool area. The breakfast was varied and with many options.

The doors are not soundproof, so everything that happens in the corridor is heard in the room, and tons of noise if neighbours slam their doors. The fridge was also old and made very loud noises. The velvet furniture and shelves in our room was very dusty, the cleaning did not refill water or amenities. It is a bit odd to be entering the hotel through a restaurant, can't say it is very pleasant.Bed linen and towels feel a bit worn, and the detergent smells unpleasant.

Amazing hotel in fantastic location. A room with a balcony and view of the lake is a must. Would absolutely stay again, staff very helpful and friendly too.

    Nothing at all

Room to small and there’s no security door to the building which was on the street, the telephone was not working, hard to sleep at night because of loud music under my window.

    8HelenPosted on: 7-18-2024

Location and our balcony. Great views, loved Limone

    Breakfast was ok.

    10PawełPosted on: 7-10-2024

The view of the lake was amazing. Waking up with a view of the lake was exactly what we wanted. The hotel is located perfectly - in the middle of the town, close to the ferries, restaurants and shops. The swimming pool is big enough to have a swim or relax reading a book. Breakfasts were very tasty with a lot to choose from.We arrived by car, and there was no problem leaving it at a nearby hotel which cooperates with all’azzurro. They drove us to the hotel with an electric one instead.

As the hotel is close to the ferries that start operating at around 8:30 it may get a bit noisy past that hour. It’s not something that bothered us, though, and the convenience of having them so close is still an added value.

Excellent position. Parking available lovely walking shower. Super balcony overlooking the lake.

No dressing gowns or anywhere to hang towels in bathroom.
