Hotel Castell - Montagnoli Group

The hotel has an excellent position in Limone and spectacular views from the room. We were able to arrange onsite parking for €16 overnight and found the walk into the main town area easy to follow. Rooms are very compact, bathroom particularly small, but suitable for our overnight stay and again, the views are the feature of the property. The pool area looked great as well with views over the lake.

The small bathroom was actually a bit difficult to use and the bed wasn't comfortable. Not a huge issue for our short stay.

What an amazing find....that view from the balcony never gets old, literally breathtaking. The walk down the steep steps into town is always a joy, but beware, you do have to be able-bodied. The room was large and clean, the facilities were very slightly dated, but hey, that's Italian charm, and the staff were always so friendly. Breakfast was amazing, easily the best on our tour. As two motorcyclists, finding the hotel and parking was so easy. I can imagine some of the other hotels in Limione would be a lot more difficult. Thank you, Hotel Castell, for so many priceless memories.

Access and parking for motorcyclists is so easy, but you do have to book your spaces beforehand.

Beautiful views and perfect location for touring the city and catching a ferry. Front desk staff was lovely and they were accommodating about our late arrival.

The parking is very far away and the shuttle only runs certain hours so have to make sure you arrive during that time. Breakfast staff felt tense and sometimes rude both mornings we were there.

The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The view from the rooms are stunning looking directly over the lake, take your bino's. The pool was also in a stunning location . The hotel is away from the crowds Limone during the day and easily walkable, if you are fit and able. The breakfast was the best we had on this trip. Not recommended for weight watchers. The view from the restaurant was also spectacular.

We did struggle getting to the hotel from the ferry. The climb up is very steep. I would recommend accessing the hotel via car. Not sure if you can do this from Limone town.

The lake view from the rooms was spectacular, you could just sit on a chair and watch the lake and the mountain and the boat pass by for hours. The hotel has a private alley and stairs that take you all the way down to the lake in about 5 minutes which was very convenient. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy the swimming pool, but the pool area looked very nice as well. Breakfast was good and the woman looking after the breakfast area was very welcoming and helpful.

The location and the view are to die for. First I didn't like that parking is about a km away, but in hindsight the shuttle service worked really well. The breakfast was great. I absolutely recommend this place!

Not a true problem, but the walkway towards Limone is not easy to find, and the staff didn't show us. But you only need to figure it out once.

Location overlooking Lake Garda was perfect for us. Being able to sit outside on the balcony and look over Limone and Lake Garda was perfect and relaxed. The hotel was perfect for our stay. The hotel services and amenities were great.

location and view are amazing ! Parking is 2 min away (8 eur/night), but hotel provides shuttle there and back what is convenient . Breakfast was very diverse and tasty, rooms clean.

good value for money two things to note - 1) The AC in the room is located right in front of bed, so we were not able tot use it in the night.; 2) property has lots of stairs everywhere, important to note for people with knees/ legs problems

The hotel is in a great location on the hill above the town.The view from our room's balcony was incredible.The breakfast was great and the staff were kind,helpful and lovely.

The area was experiencing a heatwave and the Aircon struggled to cope.

Little bit hard to find and short of parking, parking is not for free.

The hostess at the reception was super friendly and welcoming! She helped us sort out a reservation issue quickly and kept things light with her great sense of humor—really made us feel at ease.The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the view was just incredible. Such a great way to start the day!

The bed was small, not enough for a couple.

+Otel is older but location is very good ,only few steps from the centre. +Breakfast is very good , have lots of choice.+The lake view is wonderful.-Thin walls, No sound barrier between rooms

The rooms were clean but very dated, it really needs a refurbishment. The mini bar fridge was not working.The twin beds put together cannot count as a large double bed since the wooden frame is large and quite uncomfortable.

Went for the Lake Garda 42 marathonGreat location… but lot of steps up to the hotel…Hotel had everything I was looking for… staff very friendly & helpful

The hotel is definitely older, but the view more than makes up for it. It’s an absolutely magical place with a truly welcoming and friendly staff.The only thing we didn’t like is additional 16€ for parking that you have to leave at 10:00. I don’t think it should be charged additionally for guests.
