Hotel Blancafort Spa Termal

Friendly and helpful staff in reception. Room was clean with good air conditioning and towelling robes and flip flops made available. Excellent choice of food and drink for breakfast. Outdoor pools very useful for 'cooling off' from high daytime temperature during my stay with atmospheric indoor spa pools and quirky, attractive grounds to relax in .Only a short walk to the train station to take a trip into central Barcelona.

Coffee/ tea making facilities in room were not available. The restaurant menu rather expensive with a limited choice of small or light dishes. To be fair, I didn't book any evening meals so unsure of the quality.

Easy location for where we wanted to explore, and it has a pleasant al fresco restaurant in the grounds

Absolutely misleading advertising, even though we booked a top Jacuzzi Suite. A/C was not operational for any part of our stay, pool was not functioning for most of stay, room equipment not provided as billed (robes, slippers etc). No way to get hot water to make tea in morning. Overall, the premises were extremely run down. We had to depart a day earlier than planned as it was unbearably hot in room without advertised A/C. Also, the jacuzzi on balcony deck couldn’t be drained, so not warmed after first day use! We explained/complained and manager (Kevin) stated he would contact Booking to credit one night. This was subsequently not done, and an offer of a one night credit for future stay (!!) made instead. Overall, an awful experience and disappointing.

Hotel room and spa access- good value. Central location. Generous buffet breakfast.

Couldn't adjust aircon temperature in the room. Spa towel and slippers were not provided in the room, although I had booked the spa prior to my arrival. When I asked for them at the spa, they were annoyed. Communication was lacking.

The spa was amazing and the breakfast was decent.

The first room we were put in had stains on the walls and squashed mosquitos on the ceiling so we complained and were moved to a much nicer room. The hotel itself is very old with water damage on the walls. It clearly needs renovating.

The suite was sparsely furnished, with an antique upright two seater sofa, that was not comfortable, and a single bed in the lounge area. There was no information about the hotel, restaurant, menus, facilities etc anywhere in the room. The jacuzzi was empty on arrival and took an hour to fill and as far as we could tell there was no way to drain it so that hot water could be added for further use - there were no instructions for use. The wooden decking on the terrace had a lot of movement in it - was very spongey to walk on. The next door room and terrace had their jacuzzi directly behind a low wall next to our jacuzzi so there was no privacy.Several parts of the spa were closed - outdoor pools and steam rooms.

Bad value for money. They have restricted the use of the spa.

Before you were allowed to use the spa as much as you liked. But after Xmas they have restricted the access to JUST 2 hours per stay. I have been going there for years however since they have done that, I am not going to stay any more. Very poor value for money without unlimited spa access.

The Spa is very very nice! The room is big and the breakfast is nice. The day we went there was also a pianist in the evening.

The room was not very clean, I found some peanuts on the top of the cabinet where the television is and the floor as well was not very clean. The main issues was that the heater was so strong that we couldn't sleep. There was no way to turn it off from the room and it was also very noisy. I heard other clients complaining about it. If you can, go to the Spa but not to the hotel!!!

This was a gift. They enjoyed very much the stay and the food.

I sent a message to say it was my mother in law's special 60th and that their stay was our gift to them.....if they wanted to make a special moment for them. No one even wished them a happy birthday on checking in ! No special treatment/ moment but also not even said " happy birthday" to her when her birthday was just 2 days before her stay. This is where the hotel had the difference to stand out and make a personal moment but they didn't go above and beyond. Very disappointed at this. It's something so simple.

The spa centre, although it wasn't included in the price of the room.

The bed was uncomfortable, the temperature in the room was too high, the furniture was too old and poorly maintained.

No coffee or tea in room. Having to pay for a lot of things that you normally wouldn’t in a normal hotel.

I like all the thermal pools. I like the setting and La Garriga.

I was very disappointed that outside pool is cold. Why - isn't this thermal water?I wanted to sit outside in the beautiful garden to read and relax but there is SMOKING PERMITTED. Why? There is no place to sit in the garden to read or relax that is smoke free so it seems that this health spa caters to the smokers and does not care about the non-smokers.

Ripped off!

I payed for a balcony and the put me in the smallest room. On day 3 they finally moved me to the correct room. But only took $20 per day off the bill for the first 2 days. That does not make up for the money I lost.

Property was very nice and clean, we loved the outdoor restaurant.

The bed was a little uncomfortable and they didn’t have AC in October. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.

We stayed at the hotel 8 years ago and loved it so took a while but booked and stayed again, The hotel was calming and relaxing, the food was amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We used the spa facilities and this was lovely should recommend.

We stayed at the hotel 8 years ago and loved it, we came back but can see that there is updates that need to be made... our room had no plug for bath or sink, there was water damage on the floor, the walls in corridor had water damage and on the whole looked very dated.Our light didn't work correctly the switch was broken.

The area was great and the hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly and gave me another room without hesitation when the one I had booked was not properly cleaned

We visited the hotel as our son got married nearby. The hotel was in a beautiful location near the town. The restaurant was excellent, it had a great variety and the breakfast was brilliant.The spa was amazing, and the pool also had a lovely calming waterfall

Had a mixed experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the room itself had some drawbacks. The bed was only okay, not very comfortable, and the pillow was uncomfortable. The room was also quite dark with limited lighting, as only a few lights were working. However, considering the price, it's a good value for money for those who have a car, with ample parking and a convenient location. Overall, an average 4-star hotel that could improve on its room amenities.
