About
Set in the countryside of Aragón, between Catalayud and Zaragoza, this hotel offers smart, modern accommodations in a peaceful-yet-convenient location for travelers. El Patio lies on the main road linking Madrid with Barcelona and on to the French border. The historic regional capital of Zaragoza is just a 31 mi drive away. One of the hotel's most attractive features is its dining facilities – choose between the traditional dishes offered in La Almunia and the more elaborate, creative cuisine served in El Patio de Goya. At the end of each day, enjoy a good night’s rest in your contemporary-style bedroom. Parquet flooring and air conditioning ensure a comfortable temperature during the warm summer months. Modern amenities also include TVs and free internet access.

Excellent breakfast; Friendly and helpful staff;Central location; on-site car parking; very comfortable bed.
The temperature in the room at night was very hot and the thermostat appeared not to work. Fortunately we were able to open the window widely and were then able to get a good nights sleep.
Lovely clean room and comfortable bed
Staff not very friendly at reception. We had long waits on both occasions we went there while the receptionist chatted on the telephone.
The staff were superb very welcoming and friendly
The hard bed sadly had to sleep in the chair
Great dinner menu, food was very good, and very good value.Room was large, beds very comfortable.Easy to find , on main road in town .
Car park very tight, but it was free!
The flexibility and attentive nature of the staff, specifically Ana, the receptionist's, decision to swap our room for a more appropriate room following our request.
It wasn't so much a dislike rather than an unexpected surprise when our expected format for breakfast, i.e. a buffet breakfast in the hotel was changed to a more cafe approach in the hotel bar. It worked for us on this occasion!
Great Location, parking on site. The hotel has a restaurant and a cafeteria. The food and the service there - exceptional!
WE are travelling with E-bikes and the hotel provided safe place for our bikes. We had dinner in the hotel and the quality was excellent for a very reasonable place
Very happy with the whole experience, staff were very helpful especially the waitress at breakfast as she spoke some English and helped us to understand translating for us If in area again would definitely return to El Patio.
great location for overnight stop betweemSantander and Calpe. Great staff and good food
Staff were lovely, and room clean and spacious. We had dinner, which was fine, though not amazing. We were only there for a night, stay over during a long trip, and had a good experience.
Not much to add... It's a 3 star hotel, but a good one, so for that level it's a good hotel.
Easy parking, facilities for a quick coffee or snack on arrival, excellent breakfast.
Upon arrival we were given out room number but unfortunately it was suitable for disabled which we aren’t, They were extremely helpful when I couldn’t use my iPad they immediately changed the room.
Extremely friendly staff and a very adequate breakfast.
Unfortunately after eating in the hotel my partner was unwell for much of the night.
Location and parking very good. Room was excellent as was the lunch at the hotel. Breakfast too was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast excellent value. Very clean hotel and comfy beds. Perfect for our stopover from Santander to Valencia.
Great place to stay and the lady on reception was lovely. We'd asked for a quiet room and she showed us 2 different rooms to chose from as one was at the front of the hotel overlooking the car park and she wasn't sure if it would be ok as it was a Saturday night. Breakfast was great, buffet style 9 euros pp. Not a huge car park but no problem getting a space. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening, opted to try a Halal place 10 mins walk away. There's a petrol station and a Dia supermarket not far away too.
Nothing to dislike
Super staff, great location south of Zaragoza, the cafe bar is great, we had a super breakfast and far too much to eat, watermelon, cold meat, cheese, ham, coffee, juice. Toastada con tomate and croissant and pan au chocolat.
The car park outside is small and no guarantee of space if you arrive late, but plenty of street parking locally and the hotel has electric charging bays also, the Wifi is patchy and inconsistent
Rooms were very pleasant. Bar area was very good. Shame restaurant was closed
