Golden Sand Hotel

The pool and beach. Close to restaurants and market. 10 min from airport. Walking distance to family staying at other hotels nearby. Called cabs immediately. Fast front desk service.

Took 2hrs for food when we ordered at the pool. No wash cloths available. Had to bath with hand towels which was awkward. AC would not go below 25 degrees Celsius. Other than those 3 things everything was spectacular.

The staff and the cleaniless were the best parts of the Hotel. Amazing people with hospitality.

Only the wi-fi connection was bad but aside from that everything was Perfect!

Only there for one night as missed our ferry connection. Really lovely hotel. Clean, great amenities, good food, friendly, helpful staff.

Nothing not to like.

The hotel was very nice. The kindness of the staff made my son and I very happy. The fact that our room was cleaned every day was also great. It was wonderful to have both a pool and the sea. You can easily get to the city center by bus. I highly recommend it.

It had a beach, good reception staff and breakfast

Very poor parking lot, doesn’t really have place at the beach as longchairs and umbrella. Breakfast was good, but the staff was kind of poor. They didn’t clean the tables for the next customers at all.

Everyrhing we ate was super delicious! Staff was friendly and responsive. Sea is warm and clean. Rooms are clean. We will come again and definitely recommend!

The spa facilities are AMAZING and the breakfast is great. The staff were very welcoming.

Rooms were a bit dated. Spa facility access could be made simpler through use of keycards.

Plenty of parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was a good size. Nice view over the Aegean from the balcony. Good shower. Comfortable bed. Older style resort type accommodation but still nice. Excellent breakfast with a choice of a Greek breakfast or western breakfast. Choices of hot and cold food that was fresh and tasty. Other meals and drinks were available. Big swimming pool.

Pillows were hard. I was glad I had my own.

We've stayed here years ago. this hotel is in major need of updating. since when do you upgrade a COUPLE, then give them twin beds??? the showers, toilets, need updating.

Generally needs updating especially bathroom and at least some form of coffee/tea making facility in room because restaurant closes early!

Nice beach, great breakfast.

The facilities are getting a little old, but perhaps that is made up for by the lower price point.

It was a shame that swimming pool was extreme dirty and was not cleaned during all our stay. We had no car and 2 of 4 days, the sea was dirty. So we were very dissapointed as our reason for chossing this hotel was the swimming pool as our kid was dreaming of it. The rooms were very old as well which is normally okey but bathroom needs renovation. It is unacceptably old.

The hotel staff are helpful, polite and attentive. Good and sufficient breakfast. Housekeeping lady is doing the best she can.Thanks to all.

the hotel is very old and needs maintenance, after all it is a touristic place. There seems to be a general problem in the bathroom drains and the mosquito nets of the room we stayed in needed maintenance. Since the sunbeds on the beach are all chained together, we could not position the sunbeds under the umbrella according to the position of the sun. This is not logical and not a good thing. Also, the shower and changing cabin should be side by side or close to each other.

The breakfast was included in our reservation but we also tried lunch and dinner they were all really good.

The hotel is really old and neglected as a normal consequence even dirty.We reserved this hotel because it is beachfront but the beach was just horrible.

The walls of the rooms are too tiny. We needed to hear our neighbors for 2 hours in the night

Access to the sea is easy, the sea is shallow and there is a sandy beach, ideal for families with children. The staff is helpful and friendly.

There were no ingredient labels on some of the breakfast items.I put an omelet on mu daughter’s plate and she started eating it. The omelet was fluffy and I saw meat at the bottom. We asked if it was pork and they said yes. In a hotel with a lot of Muslim guests, this needs to be clearly stated. We had breakfast in many hotels in Europe and we had never encountered such a situation.

The breakfast was very good and high quality. Location of the hotel was wonderful.

The bathroom was very bad quality and internet was almost down.

Everything was great, breakfast was really good, location, pool, beach, meals all was super, we enjoyed two much, room was big and clean, our kids enjoyed very much
