Saint-Delis Hôtel & Spa - La Maison du Peintre - Relais & Châteaux

Our stay at Le Saint Delis was exceptional. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. They even gave us a complimentary room upgrade as we were there in the off season and they had availability. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, especially when giving us restaurant recommendations in Honfleur. Perfectly located as well. And the breakfast is simply magnificent. We cannot wait to return.

Everything was wonderful

Both were very good. I loved the boutique vibe, more intimate.

The room was too small and very dark. There were no drawers to speak of and the hanging very limited. No storage for suitcases. We never unpacked due to the limited space. Sliding door to bathroom never stayed closed and made a loud noise. Lighting was insufficient. However, staff was amazing!

Beautiful grounds. Loved the steam room in our bathroom. The glass of champagne at our arrival was much appreciated! Engurrand took wonderful care of us. Was a joy to be there.

Steven and the rest of the staff at Hotel St. Delis are amazing! They gave my wife and I an experience that will never be forgotten. Amazing location, amazing hotel, amazing service, amazing breakfast... you get the idea. Stay here, we based our time in Normandy out of St. Delis and would do it again in a heartbeat. This team deserves more love than could be put into words! Friendly is an understatement!

The Hotel is beautiful and romantic. Our room was lovely and the steam shower was a plus. The afternoon caretaker, Yannis, was extremely helpful and professional. We would recommend this hotel to other guest. The bed linen was comfortable and luxurious.

Our bathroom area could have been a little cleaner. For a 5 star hotel, our tissue box only has a small amount of tissues left in the box and our wash clothes were dingy..

Amazing location, super friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble! We loved our stay and will go back

Paying for parking

Fantastic property. Beautiful set up, caring and helpful staff and close to town centre amenities.

I thought the breakfast was a lot of money, we only had it the first morning then eat in town the rest of the time

The hotel is fantastic, so chic and clean! a real boutique. The staff are kind and there is a 30 euro/day parking of the hotel if you wish. the rooms are big, we had steam sauna in our shower.

The pillows were really high and at night there was no one at the reception to provide us other pillows.

No restaurant on site which was not clear from website booking. Their recomended restaurant was uninspiring albeit in a good harbourfront location. Made a great deal of gastronomique food which was at its other site.

An elegant hotel with a nice intimate atmosphere and a beautiful private garden (for having a breakfast). Our room was in a separate small building, what gave us more privacy. The room was big, modernly designed and quite comfortable. We are grateful to the staff for the hospitality and concern.

I do not enjoy extra payments for the essentials like breakfast and parking. Breakfast was too ordinary for such a place.

Breakfast very good in terms of quality of materials, variety could be somewhat better. Our room (a 1st floor deluxe room) was well-appointed and spacious. View to the garden pleasant, if not remarkable. Sleep comfort overall good. Hotel personnel was really great, doing their best to cover other deficiencies of the place.

Location inside the Honfleur village is actually a disadvantage, as access to the hotel is hindered by narrow streets (on the day of our arrival, access was only possible on foot, having to park almost one km away and walk in the rain). The hotel is very confined and does not offer any of the amenities taken for granted in this price category (around 700 EUR/day): no lobby, bar, restaurant (besides the small breakfast room), gym, pool, spa etc. Note that certain services advertised on the hotel's web page are offered elsewhere, e.g. on the location of another (apparently, affiliated) hotel around 1 km away!! Overall, the place is severely overpriced and falls entirely short of its 5* Relais & Chateau designation. We'd like to be more favourable in our judgement, in recognition of the earnest efforts of its staff, but almost everything, besides the literal b&b aspects, was too disappointing.

Small size of the room , no amenities for 5 stars hotel, including slippers or shower cap, noisy room due to a wooden construction, direct access to the room from outside…

Beautiful room

It is a one employee hotelOne person did everything You don’t expect that for such a pricey cheateau relaise hotel The same person parks the car, does room service, brings the luggage, does the check in and out We waited a lot of time because of this.

Excellent location, private room, the staff was welcoming and efficient. Loved the spot!

If you wanted a bar or lounging area on the premises, it didn’t have that.

The property is beautiful, the room was incredible, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was very very good as well. Parking was very nice and the staff helped us get into and out of the lot.
