There was a nice view over the water, and we did take the water taxi over to a restaurant that was across the water – very friendly guy who drove it, and staff was friendly as well. The apartment was very clean.
It’s described as camping, but it’s an apartment in the backside of the apartment complex is next to a major road that had traffic on it all night so it was noisy for sleeping. Accommodation was a bit pricey.
This place is magical! The most incredible, gorgeous view, which you can enjoy from your own balcony. The whole place is very spacious and updated, modern and comfortable. Super convenient to things to do in the area, and being able to come back and relax with that view was heaven!
The washing machine/dryer was a bit hard to figure out, even with the instruction book—but we were glad it was there!
Location just on the beach was great. Small balcony, fully equipped kitchen.
The availability of the personal was very limited. The kitchen hood didn’t function and there was no one to ask.
Beautiful location. View to the fjord. Small room, but very clean. Private bathroom. Comfi bed. Big share kitchen with everything you need.
The view to the lake is amazing and confortable facility
Having to make the bed
A really nice view which is expected. Cabins were clean and the beds were comfy enough for a one night sleep. The shared bathroom was OK and clean enough. They offer a free boat trip across the fjord to eat at a restaurant on the other side. We didn't do the boat trip but the restaurant is also very nice.
The cabins are pretty small, which is expected. A stay for a few days (ex. 3) are fine but would recommend a camper or a appartement if you stay longer. The red cabin has a bunk bed, but was not working. The black cabin had no real chair or table for the terrace. That could be better.
We stayed two nights at the newly built studio with own balcony directly above the water. The view was spectacular and so relaxing sitting outside after a long day of driving/hiking. Highly recommend!!
The campsite is right next to a main road so can be a bit noisy at rush hours.
Stunning location - the room had the most magnificent view of the fjord, with a covered balcony to enjoy the view. Very comfortable bed. Washing machine in the bathroom was a nice surprise and small kitchen in the room. We had a very relaxing stay here and would come back!
Beautiful location overlooking the fjord. Close to Olden and Stryn.
Our properties stove top did not work and kept tripping every time we turned it on. We had to throw away food we planned on for dinner. Very disappointing.
Decent location for getting to hiking trails.
On the first night, the woman "working" as the receptionist acted annoyed to be taken away from her sunbathing to deal with us (the sign said to seek her in the caravan near playground). I asked for sheets and she said, "I guess you are going to want towels?" and then "I guess you are going to want coins too?" It was advertised that they would arrange for a boat to pick us up and ferry across the water to a restaurant, but when I asked about it, she told me to just call the number and acted like it wasn't her problem. The second night we stayed there, a different woman was working (in the cabin with a star) and she was polite, nice, and helpful.
Great location, 2 minute to grocery, 10 minute to Loen Sky Lift, 25-30 min to Briksdal Glacier. Dock for swimming, friendly host, easy check in and check out!
It is not closer to Philadelphia, where I live.
Excellent view and value for money
Bring your own body wash and shampoo and grounded coffee.
Beautiful area. When we arrived our key were waiting for us in the information hut. Nice and cozy cottage with mini kitchen, you have to wash dishes at common house. Also common bathroom. Roadside noise was not bothersome. Some days there is a cruise ship across the water. Host always available at the cottage marked with a star. Possible to walk to town along the road.
Only one toilet stall at men's shared bathroom. There is a separate urinal though.
Wonderful place to stay! ? We absolutely loved our cottage by the fjord—it was so scenic and surrounded by nature. We booked a cottage with a shared bathroom, which was conveniently located just across from us. The facility had multiple bathrooms inside, and I had no issues with comfort or cleanliness. We’d definitely love to come back on our next trip to Norway!
Five star Lakeview. A small cozy cottage cabin right on the lake. easy to miss if you do not follow Googl Maps instructions to reach property. Reception closes at 9 PM so warn them ahead of time if you arrive after 9 PM and they will provide instructions on how to check in, which was easy.
The cabin we stayed in was cozy, accommodating up to four people comfortably. There was a small kitchenette in a closet, like space. Utensils, microwave, and small fridge present. Sheets and duvet comforter provided. This was an economy booking, so bathroom was in a separate cabin across from us With three sinks and two bathroom stalls. The bathroom was very clean and spacious. Soap was provided in bathroom, but no paper towels to dry your hand. Towels are not part of cabin stay. They charge to take a shower, but the cost is relatively minimal. there is also a charge if you do not leave the cabin clean when you depart.
Great view to the fjord
The stove's big burner didn't work. To take a shower you need a small NOK coins, but we didn't have any with us. Too small room for three.
