Folven Adventure Camp

Location, easy communication with the host, friendly staff, grocery store across the street, clean cabin, available parking, very quite camp site

Cold and damp cabin, very minimalistic furnishing and kitchenette supplies, no common cooking area. Shower rooms were not clean. Were unable to pay for our stay at the camp.

It was dirty — the toilet was leaking, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed, and there were dirty dishes left out. The four-bedroom apartment didn’t even have an electric kettle.

Cabins are reasonable size with very basic facilities in camp site.

No water in cabin.

Openness, location and Super market across the road.

Beds can be bit more comfy.

It is in a great location, very beautiful drive to get there

It’s very loud and bad for solo travelers. People outside blasting music until 3am. Birds nest inside the roof is constant chirping and drove me crazy. Too many people for one small dirty bathroom. And it was very expensive. Not worth it and will not come back

This is the only available place that we foubd for 3 family

This is just a place for sleeping, no any other activities to do.

Clean simple cabin

Lacking cooking facilities (and lacking of indications like a map of the camping, it was difficult to find the common kitchen)No water in the cabin at all (a sink would have been good)Having to pay for showers Reception not open for long

It's a warm cabin save us from a heavy rain during 2 days

The shower was not including in the price, we needed to pay an extra

Other guests on the camping was quiet over night, you can park next to house.

No warm shower, reception didn’t informed us that shower was on some kind of coins, no one from the guests knew how to use it. Reception was closed in the hours it should be open. We couldn’t contact anyone. We didn’t receive fresh bedsheets, only duvet cover. They was out of fresh bedsheets.

It was very clean. Location is beautiful ?

They don't have any outdoor play equipments for small children to play, like slide and swings or jungle gym.

The grounds are in a good location, and have been maintained nicely. The cabin we had was decently comfortable, although e.g. the room arrangements make it very difficult to reach window locks or light switches in some rooms. Kitchen was decently equipped. Wifi worked well.

It was quiet and good

They have charged us for the sheets and towels which were just for rent that was expensive and we had no idea from the beginning that we will need to pay for that plus taking sower also was not free we had paid for every shower ten crowns which took 4 mins

Very old facilities, not very clean either, needs to pay coins for the hot water, NOT recommended

Beautiful mountains surrounding place. we liked the peaceful environment, moving clouds and small waterfalls from those mountains. Excellent location if you are planning to visit Geiranger (almost ~1 hour away from this place)

- place is too old, not well managed and maintained- cabin mattress and pillows are expired and need replacement. Not a good value for money.- we found flies and mosquitoes in cabin.- shared kitchen smells bad like if its not used and cleaned properly.- for taking bath, we had to separately purchase coins compared to other camping place e..g we lived in Flam where they gave us those coins free of cost.

Location

Old and poorly cleaned common bathroom.The common kitchen was captured by a group of ppl cooking there traditional food. There should be a time limit to ulilize the common kitchen. The out door activity was old.No available cycles on rent which made me stuck a bit. So the place was not as it was described on booking.com

Location was good - not far away from Geirangerfjord and Gamle StrynfjellsvegenSpacious outdoor area

The cabin is quite new and clean. The staff member came to meet us after he received our call.

WiFi signal was weak. We got there very late and wished to see more signs to help first-time visitors.

There was a room available.

Very poor value for.money compared with other places to stay. Cabins extremely dated, bedding charged extra to Booking.com.price paid. Only stay here if you can't find anywhere else.
