Location and rooms

The check in process. It was confusing and we were left in the cold outside the hotel trying to figure it out.

Breakfast hall was very nice and staff friendly. Food was ok. Room was quite clean, room size was ok and had a nice balcony. Parking was very easy and location is central

The small bathroom and the seperate sink in the room was not very convenient. Check in process wasn't really smooth -required internet connection in the forest where the reception wasn't very good.

We've stayed several times and every time has been a great pleasure. Breakfast was great, nice assortment of choices, the place where we had breakfast is bright, clean annd enough space. Also, the prices of the drinks in the fridge in the common room were great.

The noise isolation was not the best and having a water boiler in the room would have been great.

Nice rooms with a great view and good location.

Traditional Black forest hotel feel. Modern appliances etc throughout. Parking spaces free.Good size double room with balcony. Breakfast was excellent. Hot and cold options. Staff friendly.

The property is great. It allowed one multiple open and closed places to sit and relax if you wanted to catch up for a drink [bought on your own] and not necessarily go out. Also diagonally opp the hotel is a Sushi & Vietnamese restaurant which was very good.

We arrived late at the property [Post 8 PM]. While we received a message on how to access the keys from the key box we had no info on the room number, neither was it on the key. Hence we loitered around the property to find the room. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and we did not know that there is no lift. Hence we struggled to take our bags up. The rooms are cleaned everyday, but your soiled towels, glasses, bins are not cleared/refreshed. Basically only the beds were set and the toilets were dried.

Fantastic Breakfast: The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of selections and excellent organization. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the friendly staff member serving breakfast added a warm touch to the experience.Renovated Bathroom: The restroom stood out as it was clearly renovated, shining bright and modern compared to the rest of the room.

Room Temperature: While it might be common in this area, the lack of air conditioning in mid-August made the room uncomfortably warm, even late at night. Providing fans would have greatly improved the comfort level during the stay.

Friendly and very helpful staff, located close to the station. From the station, it is just one stop to Lake Titisee. Rooms are clean with good wifi, comfortable bed, wardrobe, a mini fridge and phone service to the reception. We lost our glasses so the staff were kind enough to allow us to take a look into our room few hours after the checkout.The breakfast lounge area is spacious, exquisite with several antique clocks and decoration pieces offering a rustic and exotic feel to the decor. Breakfast was decent.

Very kind hosts. Really good location and very comfortable rooms and beds. I love the lounge area where you could have a chat with others or grab a drink from the fridge for a small price. The weather was not on my side but I'll definitely like to visit again when it's sunnier.

Breakfast options could've been better. But it's not a huge hotel so it's understandable that breakfast is not the fanciest like those big-time chain hotels.

The hotel was clean, they had parking available, staff was very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. The hotel had a very homely atmosphere.

My room was large and had a wonderful view. It was nice to be able to get a hot tea in the evening and take it to my room. Breakfast had many options and the breakfast room had a nice view!

Nice location in Black Forest for stay. Hotel is in very good location. Walkable from Bahnhof. Good rooms and good breakfast. Staff was helpful. Booking.com charges more than the actual hotel cost.

Big comfortable room. Secure garage parking (at 10 Euro). Clean facilities.

For evening meal, not manay choices around the srea - would have to travel to nearest bigger town.

a very pleasant hotel in a nice location very close to the centre. The room was exceptionally clean and all the facilities were good the gentleman at reception was very informative and pleasant. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee was good

Our stay was amazing. The staff was so nice. The day we were supposed to check in, the trains were running late, and the girl accommodated us to check in a little later than we were supposed to. We had breakfast both mornings, and I enjoyed it. The day we were set to check out was my daughter's birthday, and the staff gave her what I think was a bottle champagne to celebrate. It was so sweet and unexpected. I would definitely stay again.
