    • Wow, the view!! We had a room with balcony and full view of the lake, simply beautiful. Very nice breakfast. Comfortable bed. Amenities were great.
    • Good location. Nice room.
    • The extremely friendly staff. The room, the view and the food were excellent!! We’ll come back for sure.

    Cons -

    • Better pillows please.
    • The waiter at the restaurant was not the nicest. The rest of the staff was great. Also…we were on the 3rd floor and didn’t realize that there were not elevators. It was a job to haul 3x 50 lb bags up the stairs.
    • The pillows were not so comfortable

Very good cozy hotel on a wonderfull lake view. Rooms and hotel is country fusion with modern style

The hotel itself is beautiful (even more than in the pictures) it really gives the vibe of sleeping in a cabin in the forest I was looking for. The staff is very nice and helpful, we had a problem with the stairs in our room and they immediately solved it. The room was very big with an exit to a garden, I loved it. The location is great to travel in the Black Forest

The pillows were not so comfortable

    Beautiful. Dinner was great

Had a very small beach but was quiet and intimate

ViewBreakfast (missed some sweet cakes only)CleanlinessThe whole building made of wood is cosy and make us feel very confortable. The building is well mantained.

The shower area looks like a glassbox and does not have a door to close. There is no way to avoid splashing water over the Bathroom floor. A flaw in the design of the shower, but this really did not affect our stay, just used some towels to keep the floor dry.

    Breakfast was an awesome spread

We stayed in the units but next time I’d rather stay in the hotel part so I can be close to the pool, sauna etc

I chose this place to celebrate my birthday and especially the restaurant staff were so kind and attentive towards me, I was blown away! The breakfast was out of this world - amazing! And available until 12pm on the weekend. The outdoor sauna is gorgeous - lovely aroma and an outstanding view of the lake. The view from my room was also charming and exactly what I was looking for.Solutions were offered for any issue I brought up, which I really appreciate.

While I am definitely very happy with my stay there were a few small details that could improve: the staff did not seem very at ease with English, so I often got blank stares in response to my questions and had to rephrase or leave it be. The pillows were too flat, but they had good back-up options when asked. There was no kettle, and therefore no tea or coffee available in the room: a first for me, and I felt their absence. But again they did provide a kettle once I asked, and luckily we had some teabags with us. Dinner service was a bit slow but the quality of the dishes was great. While the sauna is wonderful, the rest of the wellness area is a little disappointing, the pool is small in a small room, and I was not tempted to get a treatment as the prices seemed too high compared to the ambience. I did really appreciate the sauna. My room (premium with view), was almost €100 more expensive than my sister's (standard with side-view), but exactly the same size, if not a little smaller.

Room was very space and cosy with access to terrace. Very quiet and no problem to walk 300 meters to the hotel. Very appreciated gesture with small pre-breakfast served at the doorstep in the morning as well a the small gestures for the dog (though you pay a fee. of 19€). Breakfast fantastic with personal service.

The prices of drinks or especially local wines/spirits in the Bar is exorbitant, sometimes mark-up x10 compared to street prices. A pity and pershaps the reason why not many used the Bar.

Perfect location directlyon the lake, exactly 1.5km to the center of town. Easy walk towards the camp ground for around the lake trail. Room was nice, comfortable bed, large shower, mini fridge, tv. The nightly dinner was amazing! Thank you Chef. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

Couldn't get in contact with the spa service people. This was after Christmas holiday in December.

The location is nice, the staff are friendly, it is clean and comfy and the room was spacious and cool just as in the photos ? Everything was just perfect also the breakfast was in a nice Hall with outdoor seating with the lake view and the options are good.

Only one thing was a bit confusing with the drinks menu in the room, for red wine there were 2 prices for both sizes, for white wine only one price and i only saw a large bottle so assumed the price was for the large bottle which seemed acceptable giving that the actual price of the bottle in supermarket is 5€ so 6.5€ seemed okay. But ended up paying 28€ for it.

Breakfast was pretty amazing. Dinner was good, not great. Service, all around was very good. The view from our room across the lake was beautiful.

They could really use a jacuzzi.... our preference over a sauna. Options for massage could include a 'sports massage' or 'deep tissue'. Weirdly, someone accused us of stealing his locker key from the pool area. Strange. Who knows if he ever found it?

    8StefanPosted on: 1-2-2025

Location, breakfast, daily activity at 5 pm

Door to sauna can be closed from inside while you are sitting in the sauna. I experienced it once, had to knock on the window and luckily someone opened it for me. This is should be changed.

Great location and beautiful views. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice place in a beautiful location. Reception area does not reflect what one would expect from a boutique hotel, but still cozy. We were four people. Two stayed in the main hotel which was ok. Having stayed in a couple of other smaller resorts in the area, we all agreed that the room was overpriced. However, two of us stayed in the large studio, located a few meters further up the hill from the main hotel. It was really great. Price was lower; views to the lake were amazing, the apartment was a duplex with plenty of space and with all amenities. We would definitely stay in the large studio again. Overall a nice experience.

Cozy old fashioned style with a modern renovation. Beautiful views, amazing breakfast and a calm area. Perfect for a relaxed weekend away.

Rooms are very nice , only remark would be the comfort of the bed, but that is complaining on a high level.

We were there at Alemannenhof boutique hotel only for a night, but it left a wonderful impression on us. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted kindly by the receptionist who gave us clear directions to the studio apartment house uphill which had it's own garage for parking. The studio was spacious and the interior was a perfect balance of modern and rustic. The view of the lake through the windows was mesmerizing even on a gray rainy winter day. We received a cute little breakfast basket early in the morning. Later we went to the main building for an amazing breakfast. Overall we left the hotel very satisfied.

Rooms are very good cleaned and comfortable.Breakfast is for me one of the best that I had in this region.Love the apartment rooms, they are very big and have a garden where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Titisee and Black Forest.

It should have a place in the bathroom to put the essentials products that we need. I have to put my beauty/skincare bag on the floor.

food was great, we had half board and it didn't disappoint. lovely staff. also very dog friendly! they provided treats for our dogs and they were welcomed everywhere

stiffer pillows would be nice. walkway from main hotel to studio was dark at night, either more lights or guests should have something reflective to be safe!
