Hotel & Restaurant Grüner Baum - Die Grüne Oase Am Feldberg

We had an apartment instead of a room in the main building. The apartment was large, clean and for a single night very well equipped. It was in walking distance of the main building's restaurant.

Although the restaurant staff did its utter best and was very friendly, they lacked some helping hands. Then I recognize that the difficulty of finding extra personnel is a daunting problem arising in my home country as well.

very beautiful country style hotel. Every single decoration in the restaurant or in the corridor looks delicate and simply pretty. The kids like a bunk bed so much, which we also find very big and comfortable.

The breakfast was great with lots of selection each morning and the restaurant had local fare. The location was beautiful as well and we enjoyed the room with a balcony.

For us as outdoor enthusiasts, the location is amazing. It is very remote, but on the doorstep of a lot of trails. Very friendly staff and beautiful balcony.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I was pleased with the pleasant location and the quality of the hotel itself. The meals served in the restaurant were enjoyable.

I must mention a slightly uncomfortable incident involving one of the people working in the restaurant. While this person started off being very friendly, their demeanor suddenly shifted to rudeness without any apparent cause. As someone who values treating others with respect, I found this behavior disappointing. I believe that individuals working in hospitality should strive to maintain a positive and welcoming attitude at all times.In the future, I would suggest that the person in question works on managing their emotions and interactions with guests in a more professional manner. Perhaps additional training or guidance on customer service etiquette could be beneficial. By making these adjustments, this person can greatly enhance the overall experience for guests and contribute to a more positive atmosphere at the hotel.

Very cozy place with homey decor. Food was incredible and staff were friendly. Lovely creek outside the room.

Traditional , quirky , great location just if b500. Attention to detail and quality of good was fantastic. Every detail was thought about and parking was not a problem. WiFi etc was all available. Lovely staff especially the waiter from Bosnia

Very peaceful with lovely views from our balcony. We unfortunately couldn’t try the restaurant for an evening meal as they had a family emergency.The Lidl down the road did a lovely salad and meats

The hotel was amazing! A perfect escape from city life. The breakfast and dinner were great. We were travelling without cars and the hosts were incredibly nice to pick us up from the train station and drop us back. Will definitely be visiting again!
