Room is big and clean. There is both indoor and outdoor playing area for kids. Swimming pool is temperature controlled

There is no separate area for marriage functions. So the decoration works, preparation works and function itself is making it inconvenient for guests to enjoy the property. I have faced restriction to use the main door many times because of the welcoming arrangements for the marriage team.

The beach on Monday morning wasn’t clean full of grass .. another thing i called the reception to bring me cold water .. but the restaurant brought me and they let me pay ?? Why ! Water is free !! He said free water is not cold ..

The driving during transfers from and to the airport. He is rough. Speeds up with sudden breaking at speed bumps. Not smooth & not gentle

Location away from traffic

Maintenance did not fix issue with fridge that was not working, the standard of the room is becoming lower compared to my previous visits.

The room had not been cleaned properly, smelled of mold, and had visible black mold. We were moved to two different rooms, both equally unacceptable. We cancelled the reservation and checked into another hotel. A friend of ours had the same experience and also had to find a different hotel. We did not spend the night there.

It was amazing stay by all means so comfortable and enjoyable staff was great and welcoming room is clean the view was very nice and the food was very good

They changed my first room because it was dusty and dirty and the give me upgrade with twin which my first room was a king bed and the upgraded room was also dirty and dusty and there was hair everywhere .

This is NOT a 5 star hotel.

It is very old and tired. Food is barely eatable. Service is poor.

The rooms are run down. The sink had water issues, it didnt flow & water sat in the bowl for long. It was so hard to open & close the faucet. The first night we went to Fiama, service was super low (not what you’d expect from a 5star hotel) & food was low quality. Food at the pool (over 3 days) was pricey & terrible! We actually went out on our 4th day to a different beach to get better food, & quite glad we did!!It was also halloween weekend, so our stay was basically interrupted by setting up for halloween & the party was loud & we couldnt sleep. We werent even informed before we got there.

Employees at the pool bar could be a bit friendlier and the prices in the restaurants and bars are on the high side.

The Sofitel is one of the best places to stay in Bahrain! The pool and beach are wonderful and the spa is lovely. A great place for couples and also a great place for families. Over all 10/10 experience.

My stay at this hotel was excellent in every aspect, from the warm welcome and quick check-in to the cleanliness of the pools and their attentiveness to my children’s safety. The breakfast was exceptional.

The hotel is beautiful, but I believe there is a health issue with the mattress, as I experienced back pain due to its sagging. I suggest that the hotel specialists evaluate the mattresses.
