Comfy room and super friendly staff. Our stay was short but we did enjoy it very much.

Amazing location and a great place to stay. The museum about the dam si very interesting. Quite a nice experience. Free & safe parking.

Restaurant is a bit costly. Not the best value for money but it was ok.

It was an adventure to be op there and the people were so nice. Nice room, nice bed, very comfortable.

The noise of the cars and motorcycles driving up the Grimsel in the early morming when you leave the window open…

Location. It is great. I visited in beginning of October and it was easy to get there by public transport during that time (it might be different when snow covers the mountain pass).Tickets for some of the local cable cars were included and for some other ones I got a discount (I've used free cable cars only as I've stayed for one day and there was only that much I could visit).I would really encourage to walk around the lake that is down from the hotel as it is beautiful and the view from the dam is also great!Breakfast was very nice as well.One thing to keep in mind - hotel is high up (1900-2000 meters) and if you are not used to mountain hotels, you might have worse sleep quality, not because of the beds or something, but because air is thinner up there and your body need to adjust to that.

Location, building, swiss hospitality

The surrounding mountains are epic and the Hospiz is indeed a relaxing and comfort hotel as everything is as you would expect from a mountain resort. Employees extremely accommodating and super friendly and the cuisine is exquisite just like a top restaurant in town. In particular to mention is the top service provided by the managing couple and a very nice lady from Bavaria, Eva. Really enjoyed the stay!

Amazing location, food and customer service!

Magnificent hotel on top of the Grimsel Pass. A perfect overnight location if you are visiting the nearby passes. Full of charm and history, and with unparalleled alpine views.

The location of the hotel is amazing.Very comfortable hotel.Evening meal was excellent, a superb gourmet experience.

was a bit hot in the room, but could have Windows open so we survived.

We love the view of the mountains from the window, it was so beautiful we just sat there and watch. The room was very comfortable and well decorated.

We only found out about elevator because the lady staff told us about it when we check out so we took our luggages down happily. At check in, looking at the high stairways, we did ask about elevator but the guy who check us in shook his head and told us to bring them up the stairs up front.?

Location, location, location. The ability to watch the fascinating dam construction was an unexpected bonus.
