Pros +
- The view and the sauna
- -The room size-the decoration-the bed -the breakfast-the view-close proximity to Eibsee
- Horrible Stay
Cons -
- Parking was a challenge
- -the bathroom (glass partition too narrow that water still splashes out from the showe)-the soundproofing (basically non existent - 6 am the cleaner ladies were outside talking in a normal volume but you could hear that clearly..)-the pillow - too soft and low
- I am writing to formally raise a complaint about my recent stay during Aug 15-17. Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations, both in terms of service and financial fairness.1.Deposit Issue: Upon check-in, the hotel charged me a €700 safety deposit. At check-out, I was told that approximately €590 would be returned to my card. To date, no refund has been received. This is unacceptable and amounts to withholding my money without justification.2.Service Failures:•During the night, the electricity in my children’s room went off, causing significant stress.•Despite requesting assistance, the receptionist did not arrange for the transfer of my children’s luggage and the extra bed. My children and I were forced to carry everything ourselves. These failures caused major inconvenience, distress, and left us with a very negative impression of your property.I request the immediate return of the €590 deposit to my card, along with a written explanation as to why the refund was delayed. If I do not receive confirmation within 7 days, I will be forced to escalate this matter through my bank (chargeback), the booking platform, and consumer protection authorities.I hope you will address this promptly and restore some goodwill.

Clean, friendly personnel, got a free room update with Mountain View
Pool was closed, but I expected itWe called in advance and asked about the pool since we were staying Sun-Mon night
There was a free parkingThere was a perfect sauna and the hotel provided the towels for us.The breakfast was lovely.Staff was very kind
There was no kettle in the rooom
Warm, cosy and inviting hotel. Stunning views from every room and very close to the Zugspitze and Lake Eibsee.
Very beautiful and quite fancy hotel. The staff in the reception was always friendly and helpful, we could book tickets for the Zugspitze directly with them. The view from our balcony was amazing!
Everything good
The hotel is located in a beautiful environment and walking distant from a small authentic village. We were travelling with our dog and this hotel is extremely welcoming. They even prepared some snacks for our dog! The food served in the restaurant is a bit expensive, but also delicious so worth the money. We would definitely come back!
Amazing breakfast and view. Staff are really nice. The place is located in a beautiful area. There are trails around for a short hiking.
Very welcoming & friendly reception staff..so pleasant . Good breakfast & excellent cake & coffee on the one afternoon we were able to have it. Good location , short walk to the village. Our room had a breathtaking mountain view...could not be surpassed.
Although we enjoyed an evening meal on our first night the set menu choice was a bit limiting ( we ate elsewhere on other nights) The dining room was a bit formal for a casual holiday meal.A few stairs with no handrail on our corridor was a challenge for me
Beautiful location, amazing mountain views, clean, friendly, atmospheric. Would love to return next year and stay longer.
the room was a bit crowded, with a lot of small furnitures. the breakfast was really great. unfortunately the SPA/Pool section was closed down
We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly man who showed us to our rooms and explained the facilities in and around the hotel. Our rooms were great and nicely decorated. We paid a little extra to have them with a balcony overlooking the mountains. Highly recommended. There was a tea/coffee maker in the room, as well as fabulous slippers, bath ropes and plenty of towels. Nice toiletries. The swimming pool and spa are small but lovely, with plenty of sunbeds inside and out.We were lucky with the weather and were able to have breakfast outside. There is a nice buffet with lots of choice.Free spacious parking.
I thought it was funny that there were scales in the bathroom. :-)) Less funny was seeing how much weight I had put on during the trip.
This is a beautiful hotel and it’s well worth getting the south facing rooms with a view of the Zugspitz - the views are spectacular. The meals were lovely and breakfast on the terrace was especially memorable.
- The experienced man at the reception was very friendly, helpful and professional. - Clean hotel and pleasant staff- insanely beautiful lobby balcony view - close to eibsee (around 10-15 mins by bus)- A beautiful short hiking trail right in front of the hotel- Has good E-bikes for rent at a reasonable price - good breakfast buffet
- close to eibsee but a bit farther away to garmish partenkirchen center by bus (longish route and the bus 9840(?) was never ever on time in our 4 day stay)- room TV should be placed in a museum. although it does not matter in a place like this.
Stunning view, amazing breakfast buffet, friendly staff, seriously a great place to relax
A la carte menu would be a great addition, that’s really all i would change. not a negative as such, just a nice addition if you want to dine in house and not fancy the set course menu
The view of the mountain is the only thing made it the difference
If you plan to travel without a car the hotel is isolated nothing to do in the area excepting the terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains
Horrible
Very unfriendly Russian Receptionist. Bar closed just overall not worth the money. It is an unfriendly environment.
Nothing at all
Staff spoke Russian, unfriendly especially that women at Reception in the afternoon. Bar was closed TV did not work for both days. Horrible Hotel. Shower was just a mess and never seen anything like it. Never a 4 star not even 1 star.
Most staff is friendly.
Spa timings were crazy (16 Hrs to 21 hrs)Spa area was under maintenance for 1 day or our 2 night stay. Nobody informed us about that. U can't close the spa on guests in a wellness hotel.
