Next level of perfection in all respects, wish all hotels/resorts were so highly professional

Very modern hotel with a nice sauna area. Staff were very helpful and kind. They had a ncie selection of varying pillows which was nice. We stayed for one night and enjoyed the short 6 min drive to the zugspitze lift. Also a ncie bonus is there is a travel card that you get when you register for check in that gives you many free things in the area, pool, ice skating, train etc. Was a great bonus we did not expect!

Everything was great. Maybe paying for parking is a bit unnecessary, but I guess you can't blame them. At least there is cheaper parking outside 4.50 or in the garage for 10.00.

Wish they had a coffee maker in room. Our beautiful view room was right above a patio where people could smoke.

The location is perfect and the staff was helpful.

I have stayed here several times and know this is a good hotel. But the construction and significant delay checking in were disappointing.

Breakfast was delicious, a good variety to choose from. The evening cocktails were also delicious. Staff very friendly. Loved the free welcome gutscheins. The view from our room was just stunning.

This was our second visit, we enjoyed our stay but we noticed some changes from the first visit. They removed the fan we had in our room the first time. The fan was much needed as the temperatures were in the high 80s to low 90s degree Fahrenheit every day. The room was very warm. Also there was a stench oder from shower that should be looked into, makes the room have a slight bad smell.

Location, food, very clean, well ordered, friendly staff.

Just one thing (personal taste?), the background music in the restaurant, terrible!

Spa

Layout Spa verses Rooms…you had to go with the Rope from Spa to Room passed the dining Room

The location and the hotel is beautiful! Serene and peaceful surroundings by nature. Breakfast is amazing! Wide varieties to select from.

No Ac in the room, it would be a little hot if stay in the summer, but can open the window. At night, the weather is cooler and breezy so it was ok.

I loved their attention to little details, such as the postal card and the farewell gift. Also loved the breakfast!

It would be great if there was a pool in the spa area. They have a partnership with some place in town for the guests to use the pool, but of course it would be a lot more convenient if the heated pool was inside de hotel.

Very nice quiet location. Beautiful views of the mountains. Beautiful lake.

Hotel AmbaderseeDate of stay 18th September 2024. Our initial welcome was very good, however, when we later went to the reception area with some questions we were told we had to leave the area immediately and could not return for one hour due to filming. We did not have our questions answered. We seemed to not have access to the bar area or reception. We did not feel welcome. This is a very poor way to treat guests that have paid quite a lot of money to stay and use hotel facilities at a premium hotel.The hotel needs to make a choice between being used as a filming location (which excludes guests) or to have paying guests which are allowed access to all the facilities. This was my second visit to the hotel. This time I wanted to show my wife, as a treat, how lovely it was. However, we were both very disappointed. I have contacted the hotel and they failed to respond. Just like they don’t care. It is highly unlikely I will return.

The only tiny disadvantage - we couldn’t adjust temperature in our room.

Hotel Am Badersee is an absolutely stunning place, nestled in such a beautiful and serene setting. The experience was made even more special by the friendly and attentive staff, especially Anisha, our food server, who went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warmth and helpfulness added a unique touch to the stay. The combination of breathtaking surroundings and exceptional service truly made our time here unforgettable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a peaceful and welcoming getaway

We loved the location of the hotel. We especially LOVED the view from our room. It was breathtaking. Breakfast buffet was amazing. The delicious cocktails at the bar to close out our evening was also a highlight. All staff members were very friendly and professional. We overall enjoyed everything about our stay here and HIGHLY recommend it and WILL DEFINITELY go back.

The bed mattress could have been a little more firmer for our backs.

Very nice breakfast, proactive staff in the restaurant (they prepared gluten free bread for me). Lovely small lake next to the hotel (no bathing). Walking paths available right from the hotel.

TV reception was not very good (it was the Olympics :).

Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast, very clean room, sauna. Free parking outside. With the guest card free travel with "Zahnradbahn" to Zugspitzblatt.

Bed felt a bit used and not as luxury as you would expect for the price of the room. A bit too expensive. Training room was okay, but could be bigger with additional equipment (free weights, pull up bar).

The lake is beautiful.The rooms were very clean (we have dust allergies and had no problems).The staff is very helpful.

Staff was very very helpful and friendly. Trails around the location are very nice. Everything was nice.
