The stay was comfortable, and the owner was responsive. The boat ride to the lake was exceptional. We had a good time :)

The location was fantastic - central in the little city and near boat rentals. The view of the canal from the room was relaxing. We were able to park our car within 3 min walking distance to the place.

There were little details that I wish I had known before booking: I love to sit and read on vacation, but the way the bed is designed, you can’t sit in bed to read without hitting your head. Also, the big window is great for looking at the canal, but there is no privacy - you’d have to lower the blackout curtains to have privacy in the bedroom, which is a shame. Overall the room was very small and not very comfortable. It’s good for a two day trip if you plan on not spending too much time in the room. Also, the property managers should do some cleaning to wipe away spider webs on the outside of the cabins.

The place is full of nature and beautiful scenery. Its lively atmosphere and lots of food options.

Way to challet is a little hard as you will need to pull your bags in walking only tight roads and bridge. Beds and pillows are not comfortable. No blackout installed to avoid sunlight from windows, lacks net windows to prevent insects from coming inside the challet. Insects, mosquitoes and spiders are everywhere in the challet. It was a rainy day, we stayed inside challet but couldnt watch tv it was old and not smart. reception brought us hdmi but unfortunately an old version not compatible with new laptops and ipads. the AC is only one in the living room, the two bedrooms are not air conditioned. The free bikes were broken (breaks not working). I wish the challet services to be more improved to meet customers standards.

The bridges were not comfortable, especially for the elderly and disabled.

The instructions prior to arrival about where to park and how to get to the property were very clear and easy to understand. The property was quiet, clean, modern and well equipped with everything we needed. It was nice to have outdoor seating to relax in the evening. The location was within easy walking distance to the boat rental location and restaurants.

Nothing, I’d stay here again.

Beautiful location right by the water, peaceful atmosphere, and the chalet was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring Giethoorn by boat or bike, and the check-in process was smooth and friendly.

It would be better to provide disposable bed sheets or offer guests the option to request fresh sets during their stay.

The location was amazing. Very relaxing atmosphere. Loved being able to have a full kitchen to cook my own meals.

The pots and pans were still dirty and needed to be cleaned again.

1. Inconvenient check-in and check-out times: you have to check in between 15:00 - 18:00, and for checkout 08:30 - 10:002. Right after booking they asking you to pay security deposit: 260 euro (or 160 euro for studio chalet). This is unexpected, as it is mentioned very vaguely on the hotel page. A week+ after check-out, the deposit is promised to be returned if no violations of the stay in the chalet are found. For some reason, only 150 out of 160 euros are returned.3. Wifi is completely bad, talking on Zoom is almost impossible. They offer "Premium Wi-Fi" for an additional fee - 3.5 euro for 2 days, but it has almost no effect on the connectivity.

Nice place for a short stay in Giethoorn. We rent a complete bungalow for 2 days. It was quite modern, clean and neat. The rooms are a little bit small since we had 3 rooms in total, maybe for a couple it's better to rent a half bungalow. The only thing I would recommend to the owner is to install Netflix and YouTube on the TVs (Only Dutch TV can be watched on the TVs).

great location, part of a compound of single-standing houses, all overlooking a quiet canal with occasional white swans visiting and cute wooden bridges that lead you back to the entrance. 5 min away from the GH museum, 19 min walk from bus stop #70. 10 min walk from cafes, restaurants and boat tours. We stayed in a chalet for 6 people. The host offered us a free late check-out because the room wasn't booked the next day and that was very kind of him.

Overall, our experience was very good. I can say a couple of minor things here: I wish there was a long mirror in there. Also, in order to call the reception, we had to call the property's mobile phone, it'd be handy to have an internal calling system. Also, the coffee pods aren't tasty. If you want a decent instant cup of coffee, you better get your Senseo pads

Brand new condominium with everything one needs for a nice staying.

We did not have a shop nearby to buy some basic food, basic household items, etc. It would be good if we were advised where to do our shoppings beforehand e.g. leaflets with mini markets, delivery options, etc.

Clean, good location, good for families

I really appreciated that the property was far from the hustle and bustle, providing a peaceful and quiet environment. It's perfect for relaxation and escaping the noise of city life!

While there were some aspects of the property that could be improved, such as a lingering smell reminiscent of oil or fats, which may benefit from ventilation, I also noticed the absence of a trash can, making waste disposal a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the size of the bathroom felt quite compact, which might be a consideration for future guests. Overall, with a few enhancements, the property has great potential.

Peaceful and quiet. Bed and shower were good. Away from touristic crowds.

The glasses and plates were not very clean after previous guests, so I advise to clean them yourself before use.
