The girl who is in charge of cleaning does a great work.

Is not an hotel, you rent a Little Romo in house with prívate bathroom. The house is in a place with horses and dogs. The dogs barking all the time even at night, the strong smell of horses, Flies for sure . Access by long stairs.

Nice cozy clean rooms. The surroundings are amazing.

Great evening meal and breakfast. Secure.

Nothing, I even liked the horse smells being next to a stable.

The location was good, on the way down south. A beautiful property and pretty surroundings, with some cute towns nearby. The local food options are limited to a fine dining restaurant, a beer bar with mostly fried snacks, and a cute family-run pizza joint.

Please note: you will NOT be staying in the castle in the picture. It's next door and fast bookers who don't read the fine print can be confused. The property is actually a stable, so there are smells. Next door is a dog training school, so there are sounds. 8am sharp we awoke to what sounded like a rabid dog. The photos don't really feel true to life. The rooms are smaller, let's call them basic. The bathroom is fine. It feels like a motel room, maybe just a bit too expensive for what it really is.

Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Fabulous beautiful location. Quiet area. Great park in the Chartreux grounds to walk the dogs, and plenty of places to take a nice walk with them outside the park when it's closed.

Although the soundproofing to the outside was great, unfortunately within the hotel it was the opposite. Our first night of a two night stay we were the only ones there and it was really quiet and we enjoyed a rest and then slept really well. Our second night we had more people staying and they were next door. We could hear them talking and moving around quite clearly even with the adjoining bathroom door closed.

The photos are miss leading. Pictures only show the chateau and surrounding gardens. No access to the chateau as this is used as a wedding venue only. The hotel rooms that you actually stay in are in a separate building on the side. The set up of the rooms is more like a hostel with no coffee tea making facilities in the rooms. You have to use a communal area to make your coffee and tea. Not ideal first thing in the morning when you wake up. Breakfast was included in the price, however when we went down in the morning between the said times we are told breakfast was served. There was nobody around, and the door to the cafeteria was locked. No staff or anyone around at any time. Unfortunately would never recommend or stay here again.

Very generous people, amazing location. Very good breakfast. Pizza restaurant nearby has incredible choice of delicious pizza.

Stunning location near a horse paddock, plenty of greenery for walks, lakes, petanque field.

Hard Work i found to get some dinner in the local area on a Monday Night. So perhaps make some research before hand.

The room is quite small but very tidy, the bed is comfortable.Good breakfast, the lady working in the morning was very nice, overall it was a very pleasant one night stay. Too bad we didn’t have time to more explore the surroundings because in general it is very beautiful around.

A horrible, unmannered, rude, verbally violent and bitter host. Post has been placed on Google review. Barking dogs. No coffee.

Lovely peaceful location. Surrounded on three sides by a beautiful lake/park/chateau, with stables on the fourth. Set back from the toad which is screened by trees so traffic noise.. Very generous breakfast.Good value.

The blinds in the room didn't shut out all the light. - had to push them into the window opening to achieve darkness.No food available in the evening, and only a take away pizzeria open in the village (however many restaurants within 25 minute drive).

A beautiful location, very clean with very friendly staff. The rooms were nice and clean and the view from the rooms are either the Chateau or the horse yard and both are great. Only had breakfast on the first morning (we set off for work early) and the bread was fresh and warm with excellent continental breakfast. The coffee was fantastic and had to have 4 mugs. Made work a lot easier! Thank you.

Nice clean room, in a quaint location, beautiful grounds, and backed up to a stable.

The rooms allow a good bit of sound in from people in the hall or the animals at the farm.

The rooms were comfortable and clean.The adjacent chateau and arboretum was beautiful and lovely to walk around. The beer was great.

Staff were not very welcoming.There were dogs that lived on the premises that did not stop barking and howling, it was so loud you could hear it in your room with the windows closed.We were made to feel really unwelcome when we tried to have a beer in the bar, the hosts were all sitting in the brasserie and jumped up to leave when we came in. We did not mind at all that two of them were eating but they made us feel as though we had made them leave and the guy who moved behind the bar was looking at us as though we were awful for wanting a beer.There was tea and coffee in the room but no kettle, and no kettle to be found anywhere by the rooms.Also, not the hotel's fault, but the bell in the church next door rang in the very early hours and set the dogs off. This was not a peaceful place!

Friendly small hotel with well - equipped rooms at a good price. The service is personal and very good.The breakfast was generous and I enjoyed the freshly cooked scrambled eggs.

I have stayed here many times- there will always be noises of church bells,Cockerels and other animals!

Great Breakfast, good Coffee, compact room and bath will all facilities.Micheline is a great Host !!!
