Dover Beach Hotel

Hotel was a great value. Waterfront with access to a beautiful beach, two pools, decent restaurant on site.

Would be great if staff could help move the lounge chairs down to the beach in the morning, and if all lounge chairs were in good condition (some of the shades on them were broken).

doubled charge for hotel fees. online charge and upon checkout they asked for the hotel fee again for 4usd.

Location. On the beach and very close to the Gap but just far enough away you don't hear the noise from it late at night. Amazing location.

I think it exceeded expectations. Staff were all so kind and helpful.

Beach front

The bed was a firm (or felt as such) and was uncomfortable. Was hardly able to sleep the couple nights there. They used 2 Twin size beds to make a Queen bed, very uncalled for, as were on our honeymoon.

Location close to food to dine out,and grocery store on the beach plenty of lounge chairs staff friendly made you feel like you were family

Not a thing it was a great place

Close to the beach. Staff very nice and help full  Hotel employee was doing is round an was very good to inform us.

The room did not have a beach view. The welcome rum punch was weak and the glass was very small. We were not aware of beach party or any events.

Quaint and very nice outside, inside rooms tired , could use some modernization,, especially the bathroom and the kitchen, very clean though and bed very comfortable.

Beautiful location on the beach. It was nice to have a Bar/Restaurant on sight. Check in was friendly and efficient. The room was large, clean and had the needed essentials.

When we were there, they had two gals working in the Bar/Restaurant. One was very friendly. One not friendly at all. Acted like we were annoying her by being there. Everyone has personal problems, but they need to be left at home. Hopefully things have gotten better for her, therefore better for the guests. It put a bit of a damper on our evening.

Beautiful environment and ocean view

Loosen faucet and leaking toilet can be. Fixed before customers enter , no talking about roof leaking after rain.

Disappointed with the accommodations. Chipped peeling paint on the walls. Mold in the bathroom. Lack of toiletries. Old and dirty pool chairs. Most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The seagrape staff was excellent. Food and drinks were great.
