Resort Ambient

The bedroom was large and cozy

The bed in the living room was bad and few space.

The swimming pool was great, with separate areas for adults and kids. Although the playground for children was small, it was still interesting for them. The room was clean, and the breakfast was good as well. I definitely recommend this property.

The vintage style

Outdoor pool because the water was very cold.Another fact that I didn't like was the parking, we have to park on the street( to small) and the dinner was served to Conac Ambient(300 meters away)

Very nice, rustic buildings and interior. Our room was comfortable and cozy. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from one of the staff, on our arrival day, to ask us our ETA and to let us know what was the latest we could order food from the restaurant. Resort Ambient is close to both Brasov and Poiana Brasov, and other attractions such as Rasnov and Bran. It is also close to the new Brasov Airport. The food was very tasty.

One morning at around 10 o'clock, the receptionist was sleeping with her head on the reception desk, when I walked in to ask something (not very professional). Later that evening, returning by car, I walked in the reception to ask the receptionist to open the gate so we could drive into the inner yard. She (the same from the morning) wasn't there. After waiting about 10 minutes (no bell or other means to call somebody), I went to the restaurant, to see if they could open the gate. The receptionist was there, casually sipping a drink. I asked if she could open the gate, which she did, but didn't seem to acknowledge that I had to wait for her and come get her from the restaurant.

All good. Maybe just a Little more at the cleaning things , not only the towels.

First of all a huge thanks. The staff it was amazing and friendly a huge benefit for this place. After I pass the hour for checking they give me a call if everything is ok and ask me if I want to order something from restaurant just in case I will be late. Parking, good food, information ?.

The small fridge on the main bedroom it was making a huge noise during the night.

The breakfast was good with limited varieties of plats (For 5 stars location could be more develop on breakfast choises)

I can say that I liked the furniture in the building and the materials used: travertine in the bathroom, solid wood furniture. It is clear that he invested responsibly in the furniture and bed mattresses.Also, the arrangements in the space were made with the help of an architect. The aesthetic part, I have nothing to say, is to be appreciated.

What I didn't like, where to start:I will start with the beginning, with coming to the "resort".As we arrived at the so-called resort, I felt that we were somehow disturbing them with our arrival.I parked the cars in the public parking lot because without the "spring" there were no free spaces and I didn't know if there were any inside the yard. We entered through the high massive wooden gate, very beautifully created by the wood craftsmen, we entered the reception and here the film broke: we were greeted with rolling eyes attitude by two young women around the age of 20 or so. They were clearly unhappy that we disturbed their conversation when we entered. I asked them if we could leave the cars in the inner courtyard, especially since I had some luggage to carry up to the room. Hardly they agreed, that they are not sure that we have a place in the interior parking lot, although there was only one other car in the yard. I said: ok, let's get over this "friendly" reception. At check-in I received the most "nice treatment": the same "nice" ladies ask me if I have consumed anything from the minibar. I told them no, I took part of the luggage to the car and went up to take what was left and leave the key. Moment when one of them says, and I quote "You know I'm going to see if you've consumed something from the minibar and you don't want to pay" At that moment I stopped because I didn't expect such an execrable attitude and I communicated that I don't know what kind of hospitality training they did and that such statements are not made, especially since I had just confirmed to them that I had not consumed anything. I also told them to wait at the reception until he goes up to check and comes back to confirm that nothing has been touched in the refrigerator.For this reason, the grade for this "resort" will be minimal, close to 0.

Everything was very clean, plenty of towels, Indoor pool really nice. The breakfast included in room price was really excellent.

The prices at the restaurant are quite high for the rest of the meals, higher than at the ski resorts for example. Tourists parked badly (like occupying two spots) and thus many times there was no parking space and the staff said they could do nothing about it.

Beautiful decor, wonder indoor & outdoor pool. Food was delicious.

The hotel is nice and clean. There was a swimming pool inside and outside. The area is nice.

To the Brasov is in about 15min by car. The hotel is located in Cristian town. Unfortunately the sauna has not been working.

For the breakfast the menu could have been a bit more divers.

Firstly we received a room in the attic, even though we booked a room with balcony. The receptionist was super rude and refused to give us the room we paid in advance. The indoor pool is super small, the water cold. The food prices are way over the limit, they do not have much choices and whatever I requested they run out of it (e.g I requested for a frappe, a stomach cow soup or “mici”). We booked for 2 nights and we could not stay more than 1 in those conditions!

Old AC in the room , it took a lot of time to get cold. They did not put a matress on the extra bed on the first night so it could not be used. I asked for one the second day and they apologized but they did not have a matress available in the first day that’s why they did not put one on the bed. The problem was fixed the second night but still terrible services, they could have told me when I did the check in.

We liked the pool and the playground.

For a superior suite the suite was to small and we couldn’t sleep upstairs. Was to hot , the AC unit from downstairs didn’t cover the entire unit.

Perfect, quiet place with an excellent pool, wonderful surroundings, and friendly staff. Food is magnificent, tasty, and beautifully served and prices are reasonable. The place also has outdoor facilities for sports and relaxation. Everything was great. This was our second time and we would visit it again.

The weather was cold and we were accommodated in a room without internal access to the pool, so we had to make the short walk outside after using it. Not a good idea. My daughter got a bad cold. We should have skipped the pool under the circumstances, but it was one of the main reasons we chose the place. Thankfully there is a pharmacy nearby.

Food was really amazing. Breakfast first and the rest of the meals (we ate at the resort's restaurant). Really good and tasty.

The safe did not work. And the pool was there mostly for points... it was exceedingly small, and the pool room feels claustrofobic.

We were told the morning of our stay that the ambient was not available and we would be staying at thr concul ambient. We were very happy with the change as the concul was lovely. It was the best food we have had on our trip to Romania. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay another night but wasn't available.

Very little in the area around but has alot of facilities on site.

Wonderful location, food and service. We had a great time, both children and adults. We enjoyed the spa, the swimming pools and the playground. The location is quiet, yet close to everything you might want to visit in the area. We can’t wait to return.
