Beautiful venue. Would have liked access to the bar for a nightcap however we were in the lodge so access denied

Location was beautiful. Very nice pool area. Staff attentive. Food very good.

The decor was a little off for the setting. Trying too hard to be hip and edgy.. Didn’t care for the movie theme throughout. Would have liked a more classic look.

one night stay with dinner bed and breakfast. Overall food was of a very high standard, Ealu was a nice way to spend an afternoon

Drinks were very expensive felt like 5 star prices. Really lacked that cozy lodge feel.

Everything is amazing at the lodge. I was so disappointed that I couldn’t stay in the castle when I booked but what a joy it was to stay at the lodge. The staff are the kindest and warm people I have ever encountered in a high end establishment. Service-food-amenities just everything was magical.

Location, school of falconry, meals.

The fact that after they were paid for our two rooms, they kept a 2200 euro hold on our account for 12 days. I called and was told I would receive a call from manager the next day but that never happened. Unfortunately, this will be what we remember most about our stay.

We loved the location & the ability to walk into Cong village and around the property. The staff were extremely helpful. Great breakfast options!

Breakfasts were good. Location was perfect, nice to get away from the city.

Dungeon restaurant was a fail, the worst meal we had during our stay and service was very slow.

Literally cannot say enough about how FANTASTIC this place is. Tremendous service and staff are wonderful. The room was exquisite. The restaurants, activities, everything about it is a 11 out of 10. Wish we had booked for more nights at this fantastic spot. Artwork is lovely, amazing breakfast, true hospitality - staff is amazing and so pleasant.

Checking in during a wedding reception was not ideal.

Beautiful location. Love the room and it was a bit separated from the main building making it more quiet (given the large wedding party in the main building). Couldn’t hear a thing.

Instructions/signs on where to go to check in were a little unclear. That is the only negative.

Easy access to castle and where able to purchase there activity.

Dinner at lodge was better than castle and well worth the money.

I have booked for both my friend and I so its a bit of a repeat but with someAdditionsLocation, courtesy of staff, activities like falconry and walking the woods with wolfhounds was magical.Staff coordinated among each other like a well tuned team so kudos You never have to ask twice Fabulous food on the lodge and restaurants10/10Especially having stayed in other hotels this trip I can easily say this is THE BEST

Honestly I can’t say anything I would love a private walk with the hounds but maybe this is available we didn’t ask

Gorgeous location, incredibly helpful and professional staff, amazing dinners, my highlights were the wolfhounds and falconry too. Nicely done ✅

Room designs were not impressive. Tiny bath tub on a long hallway in the bathroom ? but floor warming was nice.

We decided to spoil ourselves and stay at the lodge for one night while visiting Cong. The immaculate grounds, lodge, and our room was first class. We had a delicious breakfast included in our stay. Staff was very nice and went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. It was within walking distance to Cong.

Upon check-out they ask if it was ok to include a $10 gratuity to be split among staff. I approved it even though we already tipped the staff generously that helped us. I had read previous reviews regarding this matter.

Everything!!! Absolutely amazing!!! The room was beautiful and the staff was amazing! The food is outstanding ? the beds were so comfortable, we never wanted to leave.
