Danagher’s Hotel Cong

Breakfast was made to order and was delicious. Small dinner menu but the food was excellent.

Euronet atm to get cash for the pub was outrageously expensive. I would rather have paid an additional fee using a credit card to pay at pub.

Breakfast was good, location was close to attractions.

too many stairs to walk for older people like us!

Went for friend's wedding nice decor n good wee vibe staff helpful n pleasant weren't in hotel much really good location.

Rooms at front noisey lot of traffic , breakfast was just ok could have been better wasn't hot enough poached eggs overcooked n water on plate just brought one coffee n not pot it was busy n staff seemed stretched.

Great location in centre of Cong. Hotel had olde charm character and was comfortable and clean. And the cooked breakfast was the best we have ever had in our hotel stays over the years. And excellent value for money.

Great location in the heart of the village, with a lively bar, good food and evening entertainment.

Great location. Easy to find. Many rooms available. The room is warm and very cosy bedding. The bathroom is large and space full. Lots of storage available. They provide both still and sparkling water in glass bottles in the room with a kettle with tea and coffee!

Al hotels in Cong are pricey even if you book 4 months in advance.It is also cheaper to book a room directly with the hotel without using booking.com Very echoey in the corridors - so you are bothered by other guests coming in and out of their rooms as it is very Loud when they unlock and open their rooms. If you are unlucky enough to have a large group of people who attended a wedding at the lodge nearby - you will suffer by having those guests trying to kick the front door down at 4.30am and they will randomly be vacuuming the corridors at 4.35am too.

Nothing evthing was perfect

The first room we had was very small and uncomfortable but they moved us no question and it was far better. There was live music every night and the staff were friendly. Cong is a lovely village and hotel was in a great spot. Lovely breakfast and staff.

The double beds seem very small.

The location could not be better, right in the centre of Cong- beside the abbey, across the lad from Cong Cross, beside tourist office, around the corner from John Wayne and Maureen OHara statue, view from room over Abbey, bar and food on site, outdoor seating area for sun - fantastic breakfast. Room had all you would want. Would certainly recommend- many thanks ?

Lovely breakfast, lovely staff, great location, great place

The property, while old, was beautifully kept and spotlessly clean.

Parking facilities were practically non-existent. We found an indifference among staff. Lacking in friendliness, with no sense of being grateful for our custom and very little interest in providing a memorable experience for the guest.

Friendly staff good food good evening entertainment and very reasonably priced food and drink

Absolutely love this place. .good food live music .fantastic selection of spirits .stunning surroundings and great friendly staff to be honest what more do you need

Don’t stay here is you hope to get a good night sleep the music down stairs playing late in the bar is so loud this was very disappointing

Parking is the only issue but I think there might be a village car park.
