Ryan's Hotel

I loved the convenient location of it, located right in the heart of Cong. Parking was plenty behind the hotel, with a very pastoral view, and it allowed us the freedom to explore the town.

Fantastic! Newly remodeled, very spacious and comfortable. The owner went out of his way to help us in every way.

The room was nice and comfortable, and one could travel the world over and not find a more polite and accommodating staff.

Room was very spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Pub in hotel was fantastic, breakfast was very good. Beautiful town and location handy for day trips.

Fire escape stairs need fixing!

The location was very good and the car park was ample. Breakfast was very tasty and served enthusiastically. I'd change their juice supplier. The bed was comfortable and the room and the en-suite was adequate.

The restaurant/bar menu was below par and unattractive. There is better variety and quality in other nearby establishments. The ambiance is supposed to be casual and dated but even this is tired. Thought the beds were comfortable, the pillows were cheap and hard.

So very nice- the staff, great rooms- clean with all needs included. Great breakfasts. Warm & amiable atmosphere.

Location in Cong is fantastic for the Connemara and proximity to Ashford Castle, boat cruise on Lough Corrib, tour of Inchagoill Island, The Quiet Man film sites, and for travel onward on Ireland’s west coast. Great value!

Everything was great! This hotel has joined three buildings for a great property, including the Crowe’s Nest Pub & Bistro, which has a great menu and is filled with locals. The rooms are basic, but clean and functional, with obvious effort to make things nice. Nice-sized parking lot in the back. Staff is friendly.

Great stay in a wonderful village in Country Mayo. Convenient to shops, restaurants, Ashford Castle, nature trails and more. Staff were great, delicious breakfast in the dining room. Book with confidence!

Right in the heart of Cong, which is a lovely little City. Very accommodating & friendly staff !

Access to the car park is tight & a tough turn in, but the lot itself is roomy. Once you know how to get in there, it's fine. Tip: look for & turn at the Garda sign !

the seafood chowder was excellent in the adjoining pub. the location is fabulous as it is right in the centre of Cong and walkable to everything.

Perfect location for anyone that is wanting to take in the beauty of Cong and anything to do with the Quiet Man Movie location.

Doors to the room were not very sound proof.

The Central location and nice view from the bedroom window. Spacious and clean room. Nice breakfast selection.

The carpets need replacing on the stairs and hallways as it's a bit tired and old looking.

Food was good. The staff were fantastic (Especially Denis, Katie, Caitlyn and Vicky.). Locals were friendly and amenable. The hotel is smack in the middle of the town and is a great jump off spot for loads of nearby sights.The room was spacious and the king-sized bed was very comfortable.

Decor was a bit worn and tatty in places but bit didn't impact on our stay or our enjoyment of the hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location and the parking were excellent.

Would have preferred a fresh breakfast instead of the fried food in the warming trays. Some of the facilities, specially the rugs could be updated.

The Location is amazing and it was clean and comfortable.

It wasn’t value for money the hotel does need a bit of work in relation to freshen up of paint and also upgrade of steelwork. Also the TV is very small in the room as is the towels.
