The staff are super nice and helpful especially requesting hot water all the bottle for the baby they always do it with a smile, and is the breakfast not to be missed ?

I know it’s a budget hotel, albeit not particularly cheap, but a kettle in the room wouldn’t break the bank and would make a big difference. A little less over priced for the room facilities.

Quiet and safe location. Clean and well kept. Friendly staff. Pleasant 5 minutes walk to train station, and another 5 minutes into town and beach. Good breakfast.

Quite noisy room, and only one towel per person. Also, quite expensive.

Rooms clean, modern and comfortable. Free parking at the hotel but also plenty of spaces in front of the hotel on the street.

Short walk back over the bridge from Saint Jean de Luz but a little dark in places although it felt quite safe

Short walk into town. Secure parking free with booking. Helpful staff. Clean and comfy. Can walk into town for breakfast as checkout not till 12.

Delicious breakfast, beautiful terrace, kind and helpful staff, large rooms.

The bathroom material reminds me of a cheap swimming pool or public toilet. You have to be lucky to have a parking spot available outside of the travelling hours.

Rooms are a little small

The location of this hotel is good, within fairly easy walking distance of St Jean de Luz. In late April 2023, there was a lot of construction work being done on the overpass area, so some of the normal walking paths were disrupted, although there were alternatives available. Parking was pretty easy, either in the public lot in front of the hotel or the garage itself. Signage to the parking was non-existent or not obvious at all.

There is an Ibis and an Ibis Budget hotel right next to one another, so it is a little confusing. We intentionally booked the regular Ibis, thinking it would be an upgrade. However, our room was very basic and had no amenities, and certainly not a coffee maker. Most importantly, our air conditioning didn't work at all, the thermostat was completely disconnected from anything. We asked two staff members, including one from reception, about the air conditioning and they just smiled and said something like it didn't work because it wasn't hot out. But the room itself would get quite warm with stale air, and the only way to deal with that was to open the window and hear the traffic noise. We had to sleep with the window open, otherwise it would have been too warm. They clearly advertise air conditioning and it was printed on our confirmation, but they don't allow anyone to control their own thermostat until they think it is warm enough. This was a big drawback.

Location ideal for short stay in town. Good parking. Easy to walk everywhere. Bar does pizzas and other simple food at all times of day.

Very expensive for an Ibis. Not very dog friendly. First Ibis I have stayed in where dog could not come to breakfast, so we had to go to breakfast elsewhere.

Staff was very attentive, they willingly helped us with our problem. I can’t thank enough for their help. There is public parking close to the hotel. But this is all advantages I can mention.

The room was extremely small, especially for 3 people. You can’t move around room. Add to it 3 suitcases and you receive impossible situation. Bathroom is even more claustrophobic. No proper wardrobe.Trying to resolve situation with suitcases we moved side bed tables and find a lot of clusters of dust. Location is distant from the center.

A wonderful welcome by very pleasant staff. Immaculately clean, very comfortable bed. Super breakfast, well tended by conscientious staff, checking everything was just how it should be. Great choice of food and drinks. Good value for money.

The positioning of the hotel and the cleanliness on arrival

The fact that our bed was only made once and there was not a change of bedding all week. No hand towels, awful pillows and the most awful of beds. Hard, very hard and extremely uncomfortable. The initial staff were great however there was a young girl who, when I told her that I had lost my wallet, looked behind her desk and said no, nothing. Did not take my details in case there were found later. Very nonchalant for something so important.
