    • The best host JM, amazing stay! 100% recommended. Amazing views, location, service, cleanliness, kindness. Thank you so much!
    • The hotel is a reconverted old fisherman house we'll preserved and modern rooms. It's totally recommendable. Definitely we'll come back. The walks to the beach of Ciboure or Saint Jean de Luz are very pleasant.
    • The owners were charming and helpful. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfasts were lovely with lots to choose from, and taken in the bright dining room with a view of the sea. Easy to walk into the town with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

    Cons -

    • The beach is far, and you have to walk about 1.5 - 2km to reach it. Rooms are not sound proof. My room was very small hence it is good for vacation purposes but not for business stay in my opinion.
    • Nothing really
    • No elevator, in case you need one.

beautiful large well-appointed room, almost a suite, in a charming building across from a small beach and the sidewalk to the large beach at ciboure.

The hotel is by the shore and the sea. Room is nice enough for the vacation purpose. AC inside the room.

Cute, next to san jean de luz but more quite. Views to the beach, nice and easy going staff. We arrived later than expected and there was no problem. Nice room, spacious.

No elevator, in case you need one.

the room on the ground floor noisy, the bathroom directly opens on the reception hall

noisy, placement of the room, price-quality not balanced, the different rooms should have different pricing

Very welcoming staff, excellent room service and very quiet rooms.

The location was a little far from the beach. Even though in terms of kilometres it’s closeby, you have to go around to get to the beach, making it at least 15-20 minutes walking. Also, I must say the wi-fi was really bad, making it impossible to get a good connection. I perfectly know that it is for vacation purposes and not for work, but still the wi-fi is really bad. I couldn’t even connect to listen to music, so please pay attention to that next time.

A previous fishermen house that keeps this vocation alive in the building

Employee in the reception was recently new so didn’t have much information about the city.

A very nice old building tastefully and pragmatically modernized . Excellent location to explore the beautiful surrounding. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. A nice French breakfast to start off the new day. All in all a very good experience !

Very pleasant stay! Everyone was very nice and we really liked the location beside the beach with a beautiful view of St Jean de Luz. Highly recommended. Breakfast was delicious and great value. We will return again.

The owner and his wife were great, friendly and helpfull. The breakfasts were good value for money. All four of us had a lovely time in St Jean, made all the better because of the quality of the hotel.

    I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Beautiful old building in Ciboure. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

    nothing!

    9AlexandraPosted on: 4-8-2023

A very good surprise of a big room with a nice view even if it wasn't the sea! In the morning, I could just cross the street and go for a swim and the breakfast was really good !

Cats could be free but with a caution. Ice cubes available for an ice cofee in the morning would have been great!

very charming and helpful staff who made some excellent recommendation for restaurants. Clean room. Nice breakfast area. walking distance from St Jean de Luz.

A few disappointments. My wife and I rented a room with an enclosed balcony and one without for my mom both with a sea view. Although we appreciated having an enclosed balcony this made the rest of the room so small we had to walk sideways from one side of the bed to the other. My mom's room had more space. Our room being so small had no adequate space for a luggage rack to open a suitcase. The luggage rack was on the balcony witch would have made the space unusable if we had put the suitcases there. The phones did not work. The beach view was beautiful from the balcony however the the noise from the road just below was annoying with the windows opened so we had to close them most of the time. The shower tiles were very slippery and potentially dangerous for my mom who is 85 years and not too steady on her feet anymore. we had to put towels on the floor to avoid slipping. the small beach across the hotel was unfortunately closed. no fault of the hotel.

Everything was great and the person who greeted us and checked us in was so lovely and helpful and made brilliant restaurant suggestion

This hotel is an old building that has been updated to accommodate modern tastes. Much of the historical parts have been preserved, creating a unique charm, but the rooms are fully updated and modern. The AC was great and we had a comfortable stay. We did not have breakfast. The staff at the front desk was really wonderful, giving us lots of great information and very friendly. He set us off for dinner up the road at a great place, and we completely enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this hotel last summer, and when we were choosing where to stay this summer, we didn't think twice. You cannot dream of a better host. Everything from the moment we entered the hotel until the check-out hour was amazing. As a memento of our stay at the hotel,we were given two adorable handmade key rings in the form of small pillows.
