Pros +
- The location was great.
- Location, staff, quiet place
- The only good thing about this hotel is it closed to Tre Cime di Lavaredo national park
Cons -
- The food service was not very good. They should either scrap the food or focus on only a few dishes. Not a good value.
- The room was very small and uncomfortable, maybe a 10x8 feet, service wasn’t good. Not worth the price.

The check in staffs are rude and inefficient. No closed by restaurants so you have to eat dinner at the hotel. Both dinner and breakfast were so horrible but the waiters are nice..
It was a great location for going on a hike in the Dolomites! Breakfast was included, room was clean, staff was friendly!
Breakfast was included but I wish they had a few more choices (only fruit was an apple). Guests were inconsiderate, arguing in the hallway and we happened to have a room over the dining hall and we could hear all the commotion of them setting up for breakfast.
The location is absolutely amazing – right in the forest with fresh mountain air, and very close to all the main Dolomites attractions. The hotel has a cozy, welcoming feeling and there is plenty of parking available, which made things very convenient. The staff were excellent and really friendly, always ready to help. Breakfast was decent, not outstanding but still good enough to start the day.
The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable, and unfortunately the whole family had back pain after sleeping. The optional dinner in the restaurant costs €25 per adult (half price for children), which felt expensive considering that for around €75 you can have an excellent lunch in a dedicated restaurant nearby. In general, the whole region is beautiful but very expensive, so the value for money here isn’t the best. Compared to other nearby hotels, Croda Rossa is similar to Grand Hotel Misurina in terms of facilities, while Hotel Sorapiss stood out with a much better restaurant and breakfast.
Location
The receptionist lady who checked us was extremely rude and unprofessional. We were checking in for 11 rooms, and instead of assisting us properly, she raised her voice at me, complaining that because I hadn’t checked in online, she now had to “do all the work.” When I politely asked her to speak more respectfully, she shouted again, accusing me of not listening. My friend witnessed the entire exchange, yet the receptionist later lied to my Italian friend, claiming that I had been the one who was rude. This was by far the worst check-in experience I’ve ever had. She was aggressive, unwilling to do her job, and clearly did not want to assist guests. Later that day, another member of our group also told me he experienced the same rude behavior from her when he asked for help.
Great location, good value, excellent breakfast, quiet and peaceful location near multiple hiking areas.
The view was amazing, right in the middle of the mountains. The staff were nice. Basic rooms, big. Good area to explore the region.
The breakfast was not tasty, there were no vegetables, there are two buildings so if you book two rooms, you may not be with your other partners.. It was hot on summer hot days.
It was easy to get to from Cortina and closer to the Alta Via 2; beautiful and quiet area. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
It would be nice if they offered a few toiletries and snacks for sale, in case guests forgot something, since there are no stores nearby.
As a family, we accidentally booked a single and a triple room. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff and the owner were super nice and came to our rescue.Beautiful location with an amazing view of the mountains.
There was some mix-up with the Gluten-free meal, but all in all it was fine.
Bed was comfortable. Location is amazing
The breakfast was very poor. No vegetables.
Good location for ski and winter activities! Very close to Misurina
Buffet was expensive
The location is actually perfect. Close to all places we want to go! Breakfast buffet was quite good and very convenient. Staff was very helpful. View from the window is great!
No shops etc nearby, gravel road to the hotel - feels like driving to a camping ground. Guest wifi was not working at the time of our arrival, luckily our room was close to the office so we can use the office private wifi but might be quite inconvenient for ppl who lived in other rooms...
Located very close to Tre Cime. Big property with lots of parking
Very hot in the room without AC or fan. Was not able to open the windows without letting bugs in
Scenic views. Isolated, if you like that sort of thing. Quiet. Very good and filling breakfast
Difficult to get there, limited bus options from Dobiacco.Very poor dinner, and pricey at 25 euros per person....you would probably have a better meal at the pizzeria on the highway.
Great location to hiking. Staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much.
View was great. Very remote.
The staff. Main guy in the reception is racist. We were brown and muslims. The guy will give you a fake smile but will have a cold attitude. The other women in the reception and the waiters were nice!
Location was amazing. We were able to reach all our points of interest quickly. There is a good restaurant inside the hotel. Rooms are simple and very well kept. It has all you need to rest well after the day of hiking. Friendly staff that advised us on routes and we were able to pick up our breakfast for to go as we wanted to start the morning very early. Definitely we will be coming back!
Very good location, staff and overall experience. Hotel is in the woods, far from the road. There are a lot of cows around. Good breakfast.
If you are a sensitive sleeper then the sound of cow bells can be distracting
