The staff, the very large room, the shower/bathroom, breakfast

Just some minor suggestions - Got a bit hot in the afternoons. A bed sheet would be nice as the comforter were too hot. Hard to tell when the bar is in service. 2 chairs would be nice to sit instead of just one chair.

The hotel is very clean and the room is very comfortable and well decor. The hotel owner and staff are very warm welcome. The location is in peaceful city and also very convenient to travel around. I feel so safe and relax while staying here.Thank you for your hospitality ?

The location was terrific just across from the bus station. Super easy to catch the buses to Tre Cime, Lago di Braise and Cortina. A great European breakfast with extras of made to order coffee and eggs. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Simpaty to anyone exploring the Dolomites.

It was a great hotel.

It was right across the street from bus to start our Alta Via hiking -very convenient.Breakfast delicious and generous options.They also assisted with luggage transport to the end of our hike.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel. We felt it was very modern but also still fit the local environment. Our view was spectacular and the staff were phenomenal! Also the parking was so convenient!

We had travel delays and due to their limited access for communication with staff, we were concerned we had missed the checkin window and would need to find other accommodations. Thankfully their staff at the attached bar helped us get our keys but we would have been in a real pickle if the bar had been closed.

The room had a small balcony and a nice view. Breakfast was exceptional - plentiful and varied with options to make eggs for you. It is in a lovely part of town, steps from restaurants and cafes. Very friendly staff.

The room was on the small side but adequate for two adults. The bathroom and shower were small. Heating and cooling were not individually managed in each room.

The staff provided us with a lunch bag after we requested to check out early at 7am.

Very friendly staff Reception welcomes you with a friendly smile ? and goes out of their way to assist you with all your queries. Our room was cleaned daily.The bed was very comfortable with extra bedding available n the cupboard. The toiletries were of high quality.The food and service at breakfast was of a very high standard. Parking is free, either undercover or at the back of the Hotel.The location is perfect ?as the bus station was across the road a 2 minute walk. The supermarket was 5 minutes walk and the restaurants are 5 - 10 minutes walk from Hotel Simpaty.

Excellent location, 1 min walk to the bus station

One tiny trash can for the entire room. A bigger or extra trash can would be a lot more convenient. After room cleaning, often not have sufficient towels or shampoo. Breakfast doesn't start until 7:30am which is late for hikers catching early buses. Dobbiaco seems to be a decent size town. The first night we arrived, it was raining hard and we were rejected by several restaurants for not making reservation in advance.

Great location with a lot of beautiful design elements. Comfortable bed, breakfast was good, and the servers were wonderful! Dobbiaco and Hotel Sympaty were the perfect starting point for a Tre Cime hike and for exploring the region.

The location was excellent. Also had enough parking for all guests in the city center.

Staff was not friendly and hotel needs an upgrade, for the price per night it was not a good value. Rooms are dated and it was so hot. Not able to keep door open due to street noise until late hours of bars. Ceiling noise from guests moving chairs above.

Very clean and comfortable. Great rooms. Very well located in the village center. Staff were amazingly helpful and nice. Very good breakfast. Many free parking places around the hotel.

Hotel Located near by bus terminal. Easy access to Crotina and lake Brais

They requested guest information with Link before arrival with cancellation warning.The Link is no protection for guest information and credit card information.It also can't process with credit card info. Credit card company deny access or payment because of security of the link. The hotel manage must check whether the link system is good for the guest. Be careful leaking your information.

Location was great. Next to the supermarket and in front of the bus station. Breakfast was very complete and the staff was very kind.Room size was ok, with a nice balcony.

Lovely airy room with good views.Great breakfast. Kindly let me start breakfast a little early, when I had to leave for a ski race.Reception staff very helpful answering my questions both before and during my stay.Near to bus station which helped me get around.

Location in Dobacco was great. Breakfast was great. Serving staff really cared.

Rooms where small for 3 people and ski gear. The staff even though they tried did not speak much English. Not to their fault it is Italy. We made do just fine.

Breakfast was great! Minimalist decor with a great view from the room.

Not always friendly at the front.

The stay at Hotel Simpaty was nothing short of wonderful. Some parts of the hotel i.e. rooms and breakfast area are newly refurbished, and the whole object is extremely clean. We stayed in the Junior Suite with Mountain view which offers you breathtaking views of the surrounding Dolomites. Waking up with that view before you go skiing is worth every penny. We mostly stayed in the very angle of the room nearby the balcony, which conveniently offers a built-in couch and gives you the opportunity to squeeze in and enjoy looking through the window during harsh winter weather.The staff is welcoming, and breakfast is rich with different choices and home-grown fresh food. The scrambled eggs were one of the best ever made, and the same goes for their cheese, ham and coffee selection. Hotel's location is also good, right at the main street of Dobiacco. The road is however quiet during most of the night as it's away from the main road which connects it with other nearby cities, meaning there's no traffic.
