Hotel Faller

Very comfortable stay.

Had a miscommunication about the heating (someone had switched it off, and it was freezing on arrival), but this was soon rectified by management. Lovely hotel away from the crowds. Short walk from Hinterzarten Train Station (very scenic). Very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

It was a little bit dated, but everything worked as it should.

We stayed by happy accident after a vehicle accident, staff was so accommodating and helped us arrange taxis, rentals, food, and provided kind assistance at every opportunity.

Enough parking just below. The room was huge and well laid out. Hinterzarten and Titisee are not that far by car. Neat and clean towels and linen.

There was no ac so we had to keep the window open. The noise from the main road passing next to the property was quite disturbing during the night.

Perfect location for the Ravenna Christmas market. Large comfortable room and very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating.

If I am ever in Black Forest, this is exactly where I will be staying again and again. The place is run by a very kind American Indian couple who greets you with a warm smile and makes you feel comfortable instantly. I was here for Ravennaschlucht/ Ravenna gorge Christmas market and Hotel Faller’s location was great. Just 7 minutes bus ride to Hinterzarten and the frequency is good, buses stop right in front of the hotel. Food was great, my room was nice and spacious. A very comfortable bed. I totally recommend.

There is nothing that I didn’t like. I loved everything about the property and my stay overall.

Stayed here for a night, the room is spacious, the bathroom is very clean. Beds are comfortable, we loved the balcony as well. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. My family enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast was not included in the price of the room, if I had known what was the choices for the breakfast, I would not have chosen to pay for this breakfast. We were very welcomed by the hostess, she helped me by lending an adapter for my cord.

We would have liked if breakfast was included and a restaurant on the premises. The non smoking policy was not what I expected, our balcony was next to a smoker and we had the smoke entering into our room.

The location was fine, but that was part of our choosing this hotel.

Very tired rooms, stairs, and lobby. We requested 2 rooms with twin beds - we got 2 double rooms. The towels in both rooms (whilst they might have been clean) were wet - not just damp, they were wet! Someone must have knowingly folded up wet towels and hung them in the rooms.... Truly bizarre. Two rooms for 1 night cost us just over 200 euros total. Our experience was not worth half of that. Possibly the worst hotel we've stayed in in mainland Europe.

As we are long time bicycle travellers, the hotel was in a very convenient place after a 30 km climb. To our surprise, the hotel is owned by an Indian family and, as we love Indian food, the cook made us a fantastic Indian breakfast. Thank you again, that was so nice of you. Hopefully the restaurant will open soon because the man who cooked our breakfast will definitely cook a very tasty meal as well.

No air conditioning. Definitely need a car if staying here.

It was a big & nice room to sleep, very comfortable! Bathtub I liked it! And very good hotel with people who serve well with warm harts! We could not eat porc for breakfast, but they proved us with chicken hams! Very very kind people with nice hotel, I want to come back again!

I booked 3 beds as we were 2 adults and 3 years old of kid with view, but bed was 2 single bed... if it was 2 bed with queen size and single bed, I understand, but it was 2 single beds...

Very clean, with good breakfast. Hotel owner showed new location to visit, which we did. Very nice locations.

Great hotel in a good location, one or two restaurants in the vicinity within walking distance, short drive to some local towns. Breakfast was good. Rooms are big and spacious, plenty of parking.

location was far of. since we were hiking it made a big detour. a pick up in breitnau would have been nice.
