Pros +
- St Vincent de cosse
- Beautiful place, friendly staff. Good pool. Fantastic towels. Good value family suit.
- It’s a beautiful property in a great location.
Cons -
- Hard to get ice.
- Breakfast was average for the price and venue. So much potential. Twin beds were too close for two adult boys sharing ?
- We chose the property for its charm. As a result, we had to trudge up several flights to our room at the top of the chateau. There’s an elevator for bags but not people. The exercise was worth it, though! The chateau and its views are gorgeous!

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, Breakfast had a good variety of produce on offer, the restaurant was very good being an al carte menu
We really liked our stay and wish we stayed longer! The garden is lovely and the room was spacious and clean.
The facilities are very clean, the food in the restaurant were delicious and not very pricey. Moreover, it is close to a lot of sightseeing spots and the staff were very helpful and friendly.I message them through this app to ask questions and they immediately responded. We’ll definitely go back here again. Also, beautiful chateau and garden ❤️
Nothing. It was perfect!
Location service and cleanliness are exceptional. Restaurant also serves delicious food with superb service and ambience.. mattresses are vwry comfortable. Had a rested sleep during our 2 days stay.
There is no lift carrying luggage on stairs require strong muscle and stamina. There was a spider on our bed I guessed it entered the room via window next to the bed. Small matter. Room bathroom everything is spotless
I stayed a night with my wife and daughter. People were kind and the hotel was comfortable. After the breakfast, we strolled a lake according to the staff's advice, which was so good. The quality of breakfast led us to be sorry about missing the dinner due to the late check-in.
The room is a little cold. November is not the best season to visit. However, other good things made us to feel that our decision to select this hotel was excellent.
The 2 bedroom apartment/room was clean and spacious. Good to have a separate room for the kids when you are staying in a hotel for 2 weeks. The food in the restaurant of an evening was exceptional. We ate there a few times and enjoyed every last bite. Our two young boys ate like Kings. The pool at the back which is dedicated to the children is a much more serene location than the main adult pool at the front as the main house protects it from the slight noise of the road. Also a great location if you have bikes to cycle down to the Airparc which is about 2 miles away on a country lane. There are two small cafes with very friendly people, an area where you can hire a boat to row down the river. So there is lots to do in a relatively tranquil setting between Sarlat/Beynac and Saint Cyprien.
The only few things were that we didn't have any kitchen facilities. Whilst not advertised specifically as a self catering facility, it would have been nice to have had something for storing small food items like cereal and milk. Also a microwave and some kitchen utensils/plates etc. This meant eating out three times a day for 2 weeks which gets quite expensive (not the properties fault however). The Buffet breakfast on the other hand, I felt WAS a bit expensive for what it was with no other options. It was around £18 for an adult and £15 for a child, which is all well and good, but some days the kids (4 and 6) only had a yoghurt or a piece of fruit and so a blanket price of £15 became very expensive for two small items. It would be nice to have a lower priced option on those days when you just want to grab a croissant and a yoghurt. A breakfast feast is nice once a week, but most days we just went to a local boulangerie or cafe as it was much easier and more cost effective. Also, there was nothing really for kids of 4 and 6 to do on the premises. No toys, games or anything in the huge garden space. Maybe consider getting some very basic garden toys like Patanque or a football? Whils
Very friendly welcome. Lovely room and a very enjoyable meal in the restaurant. Can't fault the staff.
We thought breakfast was a little expensive with a very limited choice of hot food. Therefore we only had breakfast there one morning.
Hotel and staff was great
The dinner was not the best, and service was poor.
Room was modern and extremely spacious. I especially liked the shower set up. Restaurant was the best meal I had in 2 weeks - including some very highly regarded restaurants in other areas. I would definitely go back.
Bed was a little rough. I do think that for the overall quality of the hotel, sheets and towels could have been a higher quality, but they were "serviceable".
Great staff, superb facilities and great restaurant
Newly developed hotel that has retained all its historic charm , perfectly positioned for exploring The Dordogne . We stayed in an annex room that had all mod cons , well positioned with one of the two pools .
Couldn’t fault anything
Clean room, beautiful property, great restaurant, large room and bathroom.
Really fantastic. Room not completely sound proof, however didn’t keep me awake at night.
Breakfast was excellent. The room was very good with the reservations below
On arrival we waited at reception for ten minutes as no staff were in evidence. There were two other couples waiting for staff to appear. We were told that the swimming pool and , more importantly, the terrace was closed to us because of a wedding . We were not told this on booking and were disappointed. My bath robe had no fastening cord, a small thing but an unnecessary minor fault. The te/coffee in our room was a bare minimum. Again a minor detail but detail is everything at this level. We had stayed at the Chateau previously and it was definitely a better experience the first time.
On the grounds of a beautiful chateau. Clean, updated, comfortable with excellent restaurant. Helpful staff.
Somewhat isolated, but was in our route which was very convenient.
Staff, food, bedrooms 1 & 2
Unable to get Sunday lunch due to event booked,
Good location with helpful staff. Pool was heated which was nice as weather was a little cool and cloudy
Breakfast was a little expensive, as was their bike hire
Stunning location and lovely rooms. Very attentive staff who went out of their way to help when required.
Nothing. Will will 100% be coming back soon
