Very nice renovated hotel with great staff. Genoveva and Florentina at reception and Cosmin and Adrian in the restaurant.

Good view and great breakfast.

Everything was good, except the bed was not good at all. The mattress was sagging and the bed was so noisy that we couldn't sleep at night.

Not good

Too cold in the room, the water for shower was almost cold, the food has some items that were almost spoiled.

Do yourself and the local community a favor and pick a local room to rent. Positives. Breakfast was good, neighborhood was nice, walkable restaurants and store, room was clean during check in. Noon check out, breakfast until 11AM, mini fridgeand coffee/tea in room. Reception and wait staff are nice and friendly.

Negatives. The price was 250% the cost of local rooms available and it was basically for the Danube view only. Pay to park in their lot? (Thankfully free and safe street parking). Housekeeping clearly entered the room and took an empty bottle from a nightstand, did not make the bed, did not clean the bathroom, did not take out the trash. Why did they even go in the room? Bed, and soaps were mediocre. To be honest, for the price difference none of the negatives are worth staying here.

Location, staff, cleanliness

My main gripe was the WiFi which was so poor I had to use the hotspot at all times.Second, due to heat I was looking for a bottle of water in the evening which was nowhere to be found, minibar was empty and only got one on arrival.Third one is just a gimmick, nothing to worry about, but the hotel is slightly dated.

Very good location in the city center. Very beautiful view of the Danube from our room. Very friendly and professional staff. In the room everything was fine.

Breakfast was a bit poor, not too much to choose from.

I very much enjoyed my stay here! The location is excellent for quick access to the train station, the outstanding Regional Museum and the lovely gardens and center of town. I booked a room overlooking the Daube, and sat mesmerized by it most of the time I was in the room. The bed and shower were good - I always appreciate getting hot water quickly on a higher floor. This is a former state run Brutalist hotel that, thankfully, has been saved and mostly preserved. The bar in particular is a treat! Clean, and comfortable, and a good value.

I was completed ignored when I arrived for check in around 6pm. The person staffing the desk was having a loud screaming match with someone on the phone while two other guests waited. I understand things happen, but she never even acknowledge I was standing there - for a good five minutes. That’s unprofessional in any culture. I was also sad to see the state of the carpet and bathroom floor in my room as well as issues on the exterior patio. Again, I understand Romania is still in a growth phase economically, but Continental needs to make sure these historic buildings are restored and maintained properly. You can’t miss these issues.

Good hotel with parking, good location too. Nice size room and bathroom. Good Wi-Fi. Helpful staff and good choice for breakfast. Will happily stay here again.

There was a park nearby and it was an overall quiet place. They accept pets even in nonstandart rooms even tho the description on booking stated that they do not.

The room had a foul smell coming from the bathroom and late in the evening and early morning there was no hot water so we had to wait to shower.

Great location. Parkin in front (not too many spots though so beware). Good value for money (although it felt a bit expensive given how old the hotel looks). Decent breakfast. Great staff overall which we appreciate.Overall a good choice.

Kind of old and a bit decayed (furniture, etc). Just applying a fresh coat of paint does not do a great job to give it a new face. Noisy rooms.

The location and the overall cost.

Very outdated furniture and fittings. The overall look of the hotel and the thin walls (you could hear all the neighbours). The fact that every amenity in the hotel are closed at exactly 22:00.

The location was great, stuff was great, the view to the Danube was great.

Very noisy door, they slam when closing and you can hear the neighbors. The blanket was a bit short.

Nice accomodation experience: very clean, well-organized & comfortable room, good services, friendly and professional stuff, good and fresh food at the restaurant. Also good position in the city. I recommand this hotel for both travel and business purposes.

It was a great experience and the staff was very friendly and flexibel in regards to our dog. We had a lovely dinner and the location is nice near to the Donau and a beautiful parc to walk your dog.

View is awesome, you can see the Danube. The Room, the bed and bathroom were very clean. The bed was very very comfortable, with a hard mattress. 2 small complimantary water bottles.

The room was excellent - large bed, proper desk where I could work on the computer, nice bathroom. All have been clean, and also the parking was nice. There is also a good restaurant that is open for dinners, and I have been quite happy with the service. I took a room with a view to the Danube, which was very relaxing and I liked it.
