Pros +
- I'll begin with the bright side, because it's easy to cover. The hotel obviously had a good designer; it has an interesting visual code, and many interesting solutions. The breakfast (and the restaurant and its staff) was also very good. However, the execution is poor, even discounting for the service levels expected in the region.First, be ready to spend half an hour on check-in, even in a no-queue scenario. You fill in an infinite form reaching dog allergy of your grand-grand-mother (hello, Datenschutz), and then you are eligible to an ingenious two-step parking solution, where you unload things on a short-term parking, then do check-in, then hurry to repair, as you only have 30 minutes free parking before you proceed to your permanent paid parking. The hotel positions itself as child-friendly, however, you quickly discover that the sauna is limited to 14+. The personnel will rush to inform you about that. But when I slipped on the slippery edge of the pool, nobody was there to help. The reverse edge of the pool is very controversial: definitely looks good, but dangerous. The rooms look cool, but no kettle, and no fridge. The reception has told me that if I want to keep things in a fridge, it's an extra cost. All in all, if you compare the overall cost to the competition, you find better options. As I started, the hotel has potential, but I won't consider it as it is for future stays.
- I love the spa area. Very clean and, the outdoor pool is amazing. The room was comfortable and, clean. It was very quiet and, we did not hear anything. We slept very well. The stuffs were very nice and, they have a small shops in. My husband tried the little gym and, he was satisfied. The breakfast is pretty good.It was the second time we were here.
- My husband and I had a really nice and relaxing week at the resort. It was actually our wedding anniversary :) The water temperature in the thermal pools was perfect, making our stay even more enjoyable. So as the dinner and breakfast buffet were generous with a great variety of options.
Cons -
- We had taken the half board and, they did not include any drinks. Maybe it could be nice to have just a bottled of water. During the weekend is very full and, a lot of kids made a bit noise sometimes. ( the problem is the parents do not control them ) Maybe it is good to go during the week for a couple. The parking is 12 euros per day.
- The waiting/lounge area in the reception feels outdated and could be made more cozy.
- Not many lunch options and the indoor pool could have been warmer.

Our stay was pretty good; the pool area was very relaxing, the room was nicely decorated, and breakfast and dinner were delicious.
Not many lunch options and the indoor pool could have been warmer.
Rooms are clean, specious and comfortable.
The pool temperature could be a bit higher. Staff were generally nice, except for the omelette lady at breakfast. She was a bit rude.
breakfast was amazing a lot of choie. instead dinner buffet was over priced. sauna is good also outside area
not good public transportation and in the evening it gets too dark fast. you cannot go outside if you don't come with car. but if you book directly from website it was cheaper.
We enjoyed our stay at Aja Bad Saarow with our 2-years old son. The facilities for kids are really nice with a playground next to the restaurant and a children pool. The food was overall good with local and bio products. The rooms are well equipped and clean. We would go again.
There was some lack of flexibility from the staff. First. We did not book for the half-pension as we were not sure we would like to go there and would decide once there. It turned out the restaurant was closed for guests who did not book it with no alternative aroundZ Some staff members did not listen to us. We had no sneak in, almost hide ourselves despite the fact that there were plenty of spots available, especially in the family area.In addition, my wife is pregnant and I tried to book a massage for pregnant women 1 month before but it was fully booked. This is one of the reason for picking this hotel and this was a gift. I asked many times to see if it was possible to get a slot. No one tried to help us. There was no pregnant woman in the hotel so it seems the massages were for non-guests of the hotel. They could keep some slots for the guests.
Proximity to the lake,
We didn’t have a chance to leave as we didn’t feel well some days and the lunch options were not good. If during buffet time in the morning and evening I would be ok, midday food was bad. Also staff not the friendliest, there were friendly people working there but the feeling of being welcome was a bit lacking.
- Its clean and beautiful, sorrounded by amazing views,- food was great too.- Staff were nice and helpful.
- There is no air conditioner in the rooms. It was extremely hot and not easy to sleep, which made our short trip uncomfortable.- there were no refrigerator, mini bar, or kettle in the room.
Very pretty and calming room decor, breakfast and dinner buffet was delicious and variety was offered. Wellness area is well maintained.
The free coffee break was a nice cry on top but the quality of the cake leaves plenty of room for improvement. But obviously a personal decision.
Room was very nice. The spa was maybe a bit small, but overall very nice. The staff was very forthcoming when asking about some more vegan options, e.g., if the main warm veggie dish in the evening was only vegetarian not vegan, they offered to make you some vegan sausages. Intermediate food options offered also included a lot of vegan options, also a lot of nice drinks etc.
Breakfast was probably good for a lot of people; I would have wished for a little more vegan options, though. One can have a passable vegan bowl of cereal, but not much more. There was a vegan salami for the bread (but only available every 3 or 4 days), one type of vegan cheese (personally don't like these cheese replacements, though=, and one vegan beet root spread or something, but no margarine, hummus or peanut butter, no vegan yoghurt. There is soy and oat milk, hazel nuts, and some cereal, though. The offered dinner had some vegan options which changed from day to day, but one had to be careful as not everything was labeled correctly.
Schwimmbad!
Terrible design of SPA and rooms
Its a very child friendly hotel
The room is super small and the bed is huge. The buffet is super expensive but very less vegetarian options.
Very nice hotel and very kind staff.. the pool and saunas were great??
A fridge would make the rooms more comfortable.. A bottle of water in room would also be appreciated.Drinks are not included at dinner, not even water ?
Very clean room. Big wow to housekeeping, cleaninf all those glasses pf the bathroom everytime. Bed was superb clean. Good location. Great breakfast buffet. Buffet in the evening or a la carte possible. Vegan and veggie options. Cute nivea shop inside.
The bathroom in the room is very unprivate, can't really close the door, you hear every sound. All in all good stay.
Nice hotel and staff, but a little pricy for offering. Pool is too cold for me.
Service, cleanliness

The staff are very friendly, everything is really clean and quiet. Love the attention to my dog needs.
Comfortable room, suitable buffet, very friendly and helpful staff.
Sauna doesn’t open until 11.
