Amazing spa treatment with great pools, relaxing areas, various saunas and then some lovely food at the restaurants and breakfast too. The rooms are nice and comfortable with a fairly priced mini bar too. They have a good bar as well with great cocktails being served.

As usual high quality service, great SPA, fantastic breakfast and dinner.

The location was quite nice, a short walk from the train station and it was right next to the river and with the village also within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean with very good selection coffee and tea and the room service was very fast, professional and pleasant. The breakfast was also quite good.

The shower felt a bit outdated and ugly, the tiles were worn out and with bits of mold in between so, all in all, it didn't feel very cozy or comfortable to use.

Since I travel a lot (for work, just for vacation, to enjoy the spa, etc.), I was incredibly surprised by how great the hotel was. The location, parking, reception, team, spa, the whole aura, the ultimate breakfast, cleanliness, location, silence, tranquility. Super, super and thank you very much for this great weekend ☺️

A huge breakfast buffet was available and the food was excellent as were the choices. They had a pool (outside & inside) and saunas which were included in the room, free of charge so I utilized them. They had a late night piano bar for a late evening drink (after wedding festivities) which was good and convenient. It was only a mile or so to walk to town, its on the lake, near the docks and a beautiful setting. Highly recommend - I was there for a family wedding nearby so it was perfect. Room was clean, spacious and though I didn't have a view at the lake, once on the grounds you could see the beautiful scenery.

We arrived at 19:30 and asked the front desk if we needed to reserve a table for dinner as we needed to walk our dog first after a long journey. Said no, the restaurant (Pechhütte) was open until 10pm and would not be a problem. We arrived at 9pm, half the tables were free and the manager refused to seat us saying all the tables were booked. I had to go back to reception to have them insist on seating us. And of course no one else came after us, the rude manager just wanted to go home early. The restaurant at the beach was lovely and the staff nice there.

Spa, breakfast and service

Amazing!!! We were there by accident because our car broke down in Germany and we are from UK but the hotel was so beautiful the staff amazing the spa superb!!! Rooms so clean and comfortable that we are planning to stay there in around two weeks time. There is plenty of motor boats to rent without licence and home boats the climate is warm and pleasant. Lovely village around lovely German people. Highly recommend!!!!!

Comfortable cozy location on the lake; very good spa, outer and inner pools; helpful and kind staff; nice surroundings, although of course a bit sleepy in the evening.

Dining was an issue because at 8.30 the restaurants annexed to the hotel would bounce you because the kitchen was closed. The rest of town fid not offer much either. We solved the thing going a few km south to a place called the Dorsch which was open until 11 pm. So be advised, walk in early for dinner!

Spa was fantastic! We did both the peeling and the eucalyptus experience and they were really great. Breakfast was also very good value for money with lots of options, an egg station and bubbles. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Property is well located just off the waterfront.

It’s a shame that the cafe at the spa reception is the same menu as the restaurant because it was expensive and not the best quality. We only stayed two nights but our room was not refreshed. Our water got refilled but our beds were not made, we ran out of toilet paper and didn’t get fresh robes. Sounds picky but given you use the robes at the spa it’s pretty essential that they are clean and dry. We paid for a lake view room but it was on the second floor so lake view was partially obstructed by the restaurant roof.

Not a tragedy, but on a second day there were no baked tomatoes for breakfast.. even tho the dish was there, with the sign "baked romatoes" and beans inside instead.

I wish the staff told us more about the hotel during the Check in. We didn’t know we had to pay 10 Euro extra to stay in the spa after the checkout. While it’s not a big deal, we didn’t feel informed about anything (e.g. breakfast, spa opening times and times for free entry, restaurants etc) so we felt like the staff cold have spent a few minutes telling us about the amenities so that we could plan our stay better

The staff was always super helpful, the whole hotel is very clean and well equipped. The spa area is very nice, especially the saunas. The breakfast had a wide vareity of foods and drinks with plenty of diet friendly foods to choose from as well.

- For the second time there, love the place- Both restaurants are great, pricey but delicious and the portions are large, breakfast is also good- The room is spacious and comfortable - Enough space in spa even on the weekend- Adults only

- When you book via booking, they charge you extra 10 eur per person if you go to spa before / after check in, so all it all it’s the same as booking directly - I had headache and forgot my Ibuprofen at home but reception is not allowed to give it to you; I respect the policy but it still spoiled my evening a bit as I couldn’t sleep properly
